Trump Unloads on ‘Dumb SOB’ McConnell & His GOP Enemies at Closed-Press RNC Dinner

10 hours ago updated about 2 hours ago

Donald Trump unleashed on political enemies and betrayers at a dinner to Republican National Committee members at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach on Saturday night. The event was closed to the press, thus, video of the former president’s speech was not immediately forthcoming. However, we know from widespread reporting from credible sources what was said at the speech. Let’s just say there was a reason it was closed to the press.

Trump hammered ‘RINOs’ who refused to object to the 2020 election results; but he displayed special disdain for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. He called him a ‘dumb SOB’ with no abbreviated language (the ‘B’ being a naughty word rhyming with Mitch).

“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a bitch Mitch McConnell they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it,” Trump ranted.

It’s true, despite the protestations of The Washington Post and its ilk, which reported on the event. The Democratic Party objected to completely legitimate elections held in 2000, 2004, and 2016.

Trump wasn’t done, however. He also hurled animus and invective at Mitch McConnell’s wife — former Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao.

“I hired his wife. Did he ever say thank you?” Trump asked rhetorically. Chao resigned in protest after the Capitol riots on January 6th.

“She suffered so greatly,” he said, mocking her resignation. He also called her husband a “stone cold loser.”

The former president railed against Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, while pressing his case that he had won elections in swing states, such as Georgia and Pennsylvania.

“Bullshit,” he said of the election, drawing applause upon asking the room if they thought the election was ‘stolen.’

“I wish that Mike Pence had the courage to send it back to the legislatures … I like him so much. I was so disappointed,” Trump also said.

He even got in jabs at Dr. Anthony Fauci during the estimated hour-long, impromptu speech.

“Trump attacked many of his favorite targets, such as Anthony S. Fauci, the country’s leading epidemiologist, even mocking Fauci for his first pitch last season at Nationals Park — a frequent Trump taunt,” the Washington Post moaned. “He falsely claimed that Fauci only received credit because he opposed Trump, an attendee said, and joked that Fauci wanted people to wear five masks after not initially supporting masks.”

“Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?” he said of Fauci.

The left-wing press that was drawn to the event feigned outrage that they couldn’t believe what they heard he had said:

“If we had a real leader instead of Mitch, who is a total stone cold loser, if we had a real leader, he would have never, ever accepted the results of that election,” Trump said. Mocked Sasse, Romney and others but saved the nastiness material for McConnell.

Trump also said he wished that Mike Pence “had the courage" regarding not supporting certifying the election and that he was "so disappointed” (though he said he also likes Pence).

Trump rant on McConnell at RNC was brutal, per attendee. He took credit for Mr. McConnell's margin of win. "Did he ever say thank you to me? No. I hired his wife. Did he ever say thank you to me? No." He said he feels "sorry" for her, said, "She's suffered so greatly."

“They’re coming in from the Middle East. They’re not sending their best people. You have murderers, you have rapists, you have drug dealers,” Trump said of immigrants coming into country, as he mocks BIden for disagreeing with his immigration policies.

— Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1) April 11, 2021

Trump says someone came to him, who he refers to as “sir,” and suggested that it be called a “Trumpcine.” Mocked Fauci relentlessly, for his advice and baseball pitch. “Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?” he said of Fauci.

— Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1) April 11, 2021

This isn’t the first time that Trump has savaged McConnell, calling him a “dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack” in a February statement. Nonetheless, McConnell has said he will “absolutely” back Trump if he is the 2024 nominee.

Texas and Florida Continue to Beat Lockdown States: Fauci ‘Not Sure’ Why Open States are Winning

Dr. Anthony Fauci is unsure why Texas and Florida continues to defy the settled “science” on COVID-19. Since the states did away with the mask mandates and authorized all businesses to re-open, there has not been a disproportionate surge in COVID cases, hospitalizations, or deaths.

Dr. Fauci was asked why Texas hasn’t seen the often predicted surge on MSNBC this week. “I’m not really quite sure,” he said. “It could be they’re doing things outdoors.”

Fauci added in his MSNBC interview that it may take weeks to see any effects from re-opening the state on the number of COVID cases.

“I hope they continue to tick down. If they do, that would be great but there’s always the concern when you pull back on methods — particularly on things like indoor dining and bars that are crowded — you could see a delay and then all of a sudden tick right back up,” Fauci said.

“We’ve been fooled before by situations where people begin to open back up. Nothing happens and then all of a sudden several weeks later things explode on you, so we’ve got to be careful we don’t prematurely judge that,” he added.

Texas has become one of the biggest targets for lockdown and mask advocates. The state has even hosted a baseball game with 100% attendance. Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have also taken stands against COVID passports.

The Lone Star State has continued to beat many lockdown states in terms of daily cases and daily deaths with a COVID infection based on government data provided by the NY Times. The COVID cases in Texas continue to decline steadily despite the state’s reopening and elimination of the mask mandate.

The COVID-related deaths in Texas also continue to decline.

Compare the state’s record with that of New York, a heavily locked-down state managed by Governor Andrew Cuomo. Here is the recent trend in COVID cases.

As you can see, there has been a third spike. The following is the New York trend in cases.

Gratefully, there has not been a proportionate spike in COVID deaths. Here are the cases in locked-down state Michigan, run by Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The COVID-related deaths are also ticking up in Michigan.

In California, the cases are thankfully beginning to recede. Governor Gavin Newsom, facing a recall threat, has recently vowed to reopen the state.

The state is also starting to see a steady decline in the number of deaths.

Another state that has been even more on the forefront of opposing heavy-handed lockdowns and mask mandates is Florida. The Sunshine State is holding steady on cases, despite baseless accusations the data are not reliable.

The number of COVID-related deaths in the state is also dropping in combination with the state’s successful vaccine rollout.

In fact, the top ten states for COVID cases per capita this week are all heavy lockdown states.

It has been reported that sunlight and ventilation can damage the virus, thereby lowering the risk for people when outdoors. It may also partly explain why southern states and northern states have had different experiences with the viral outbreak.

The decline in cases and deaths in Florida and Texas is not the only thing these states’ critics have been mistaken about. A recent CDC study CONFIRMS that the risk of catching COVID-19 from surfaces is miniscule.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) just released a new scientific brief that says your risk of contracting COVID-19 from a surface is about 1 in 10,000,” Yahoo News reported. “That means, on average, you have a 0.01% chance of actually picking up the virus from, say, touching a counter.”

Earlier, Fauci had urged extreme caution when handling objects, even those that have been left outside. He also rightly urged handwashing as a smart practice to limit one’s risk exposure, which is true in general about potential viral and bacterial contamination.

“We know that the virus for a limited period of time can live on what are called fomites, which are inanimate objects,” Dr. Fauci said in August. “So what I do, for example, when something comes—the package, you know, I don’t scrub it down. I just leave it on the side for a couple of days before I open it. And even that is probably overkill, because most of the things we’re talking about, this is fundamentally a respiratory-borne virus. Even though there is the possibility, if not the reality, of some small part of it being transmitted by things that you can touch.”

“I think washing hands really so much obviates the need to be cleaning everything around you,” he added. “[That’s] the one thing you could do very easily.”

The CDC earlier had only a vague sense of how often the virus could be spread on surfaces.

“Based on data from lab studies on COVID-19 and what we know about similar respiratory diseases, it may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this isn’t thought to be the main way the virus spreads,” the CDC had said.

Dr. Fauci in the past has left open the idea that scientific understanding evolves along with testing and new data.

“It’s something we’re learning more and more about. We’ve got to make sure that we’re humble enough to accumulate new knowledge and use it as we get it,” Fauci said in regards to the virus’s behavior.

Compare this scientific perspective to that of politicians like Joe Biden, however, who blasted Texas for reopening the state and doing away with the mask mandate as “Neanderthal thinking.”

“The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking,” Joe Biden said. “That, in the meantime, take off your mask, forget it. It still matters.”

What matters more than political invective is the actual science. And the science thus far is on the side of open states like Texas and Florida, and not the heavy lockdown states like New York and Michigan, which have been widely praised in the media.

Getting Frank: Mike Lindell's new social-media site debuts this week

=='Americans are craving news and information that is not filtered'–

PALM BEACH, Florida – Mike Lindell's new social-media site called "Frank" is set to debut this week, according to the inventor of MyPillow and supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Last Tuesday, Lindell said on Gab, another free-speech site: "Coming next week … a social media platform like no other!"

As of Sunday evening, the site was displaying a "coming soon" page, with a message stating:

"Free speech is one of the hallmarks of our Constitutional Republic, as enshrined in the Bill of Rights. It is no coincidence that nations that have free speech also have a free enterprise system and freedom of religion.

"Inversely, nations that deny free speech tread upon the free enterprise system and freedom of religion. Americans want to remain free. Americans are craving news and information that is not filtered through the radical worldview of today’s liberal media intelligentsia, or deep state actors.

"Frank, the voice of free speech, will be the platform for Americans who want to defend life, liberty, and all the freedoms that have marked America as the longest running Constitutional Republic in the history of the world. On this platform you will find a home where you can post videos, livestream television, distribute news and information, and find community and fellowship with likeminded Americans.

"Frank will be a home for major influencers, to micro influencers, to average Americans wanting to share in the constitutional right of freedom of speech and freedom of expression. We hope you will join our community and let freedom ring."

It also includes a link to LindellTV, where the pillow entrepreneur has videos maintaining his claim there is scientific proof that the 2020 presidential election was illegally stolen from President Trump.

Charisma News reported one aspect of Lindell's Frank platform will be dedicated to investigation regarding the 2020 race.

"We have hired the best investigators and resources and are working hard to backtrack the various aspects of the election," Lindell said.

"When we get through this, we will see the greatest revival in history that will restore our beloved America, and this is why we have hope. … Buckle up, chin up and get ready. And do all you can from where you are, beginning with prayer efforts where you live. Let's all start believing God for what He is doing and be proactive in standing for the Lord Jesus Christ!"

Frank will have plenty of competition in the marketplace of sites rebelling from left-leaning Big Tech sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Among right-leaning, free-speech sites that have emerged in recent years are Gab, Parler, Find.com and USA.life.

And, as WND reported last month, Trump himself, one of the most prolific users of social media in American history, will soon be launching his own social platform, according to one his representatives.

"I do think that we're going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here, with his own platform," Trump senior adviser Jason Miller told Fox News' "#MediaBuzz."

"And this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media, it's going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does."
