I worked "under" this corrupted individual at Microsoft. We got two emails: "you're getting a new leader, Michael", and "Michael is becoming Megan" – really screwed up pair of emails that arrived back-to-back!

SOMEBODY did. He was a smart guy (talked to him a few times), and he remained married throughout his ordeal - so he didn't do it for "sex reasons". Therefore I maintain, he did it for "financial reasons."
Finding the evidence, though, will be interesting. Many banks have become really data-leaky, lately.
Oh! The Wikipedia article says that Microsoft financially supported his transition. Well that (investigation) was fast. :)
