Good morning from Italy, frens. Here's the main page of Yahoo Italia right now, with a screaming-hysterical virus headline front and center: "Hospitals are full, the restrictive measures aren't slowing it down."

Are you afraid yet?

If you click on the link, you get this "story":

"Trade unions of the doctors: 'No to a loosening of the premature restrictions, hospitals still overloaded'

"The data of last weeks show progressive signs of a slowdown in the growth of cases of infection by Sars-CoV-2, however, the overloaded conditions throughout the hospital system, with employment rates of intensive care and medical areas of the COVID well beyond the critical thresholds identified, as well as the strong circulation of the virus, with about ative 530,000 outbreaks, and persistently high mortality, impose great caution in loosening the restrictive measures of social movement." This is what the Intersindacale medica denounces in a press release."

("Intersindacale medica" is like a national coalition of doctors' trade unions, no clue how to translate that)

Meanwhile … a friend waltzed into a hospital ER just a few days ago. Within TEN MINUTES he was sitting in a consultation room with exactly the right specialist MD. BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL SITTING AROUND INEMPTY HOSPITALS WITH FUCKING NOTHING TO DO.

Just like in your own country, I bet. Had to share
