It is astounding how much info is in the images that Q has posted or replied to.

I just went through the entire set of posts with images, and only looked at the images, and it is amazing how many things I am missing.

And I actually "know" many of the images… and I still feel like a total moran.

There are "pure" images, and memes, and screencaps, and they all contain info that is easily forgotten.

Do you realize that Q often posts the "same" image in multiple different ways?

The most obvious example is that he changes the filename on flag posts - I suspect many know that.

But he does this in other ways too. I suspect many have noticed that too.

But even so it is shocking to really dive in.

I used qagg.news and set Display Options to Drops with images. I went from the start to the present.

Two things especially jumped out that I had not noticed. One was that many Q drops that I thought I "knew" were included in images that don't show up via text search. (Especially Q drops, potus tweets, and memes presented as screencaps.) I do know a few of these but there were others I had totally forgotten. And the other thing was that a lot of ideas and connections got included in what seem like "just" memes. (For instance, Kissinger is in a meme, Napoleon is in a meme, etc.) But maybe they amount to something more. For instance, some memes are based on film scenes and might connect to other themes of the film. I saw a few of those.

Actually another interesting thing is seeing how some images might connect to successive images. It is easy to miss this if you just view the drops in order. Q has posted MANY "related images"… stuff like surveillance shots… but it is easy to forget how many of these there were. Maybe there is some further meaning there.

I am thinking in particular of a meme based on Jurassic Park and a meme based on Gran Torino. For totally different reasons both of those films have "come up" in my mind in relation to Q topics, but it somehow completely escaped me (at least recently), that these actually appeared in Q drops. (Right now I don't even know where they are… I was so engrossed in reviewing the stuff…)

You don't need to copy the hash.

The hash is computed server side from the actual media file.

If you post the exact same media file, it has the same hash.

It may or may not have the same …. IDK what the proper term is… "nominal" filename.. but if a file has no "meaningful" filename I usually just save it via the hash file name.

The "nominal" filenames are not included in the hash computation. I once got confused about this, but it makes sense. I think the whole point is that if anons are posting the same memes or pics over and over, 8kun only needs to save them once and just maps the "nominal" filename to the hash filename.

But … that doesn't mean Q doesn't put "meaning" into the actual filenames. I am pretty sure there is "meaning" in the flag filenames, for instance. I think some of them even have the same hash, and yet Q goes through the effort of changing the overt filename.
