First time I saw the phrase "white flight" was in a history book when I was in college in the 80s. About fell off my chair when I read that Whites were leaving the city because they were prejudice and didn't want to live with Blacks. That is such a lie. I lived in Chicago in the 60s. Whites were being terrorized by Black gangs and were forced to leave. The Whites didn't want to leave, they were forced out.

So yeah, history books lie sometimes.
