Breaking: Search and Rescue Underway After Liftboat Capsizes Off Grand Isle, Louisiana
The U.S. Coast Guard is responding to a 265-ft commercial lift boat which has reportedly capsized south of Grand Isle, Louisiana.
Multiple Coast Guard assets and Good Samaritan vessels are assisting in the response.
There are reports of ‘multiple people in the water’.
The National Weather Service in New Orleans earlier issued several Special Marine Warnings for the water south of Grand Isle.
