Head of NY BLM Calls for Investigation into Cofounder’s Million Dollar Home Purchases
“Hawk Newsome, the head of Black Lives Matter (BLM) Greater New York City … called for ‘an independent investigation’ into how the global network spends its money” after BLM cofounder Patrisse Khan-Cullors spent $3.2 million on homes in predominantly white neighborhoods, the New York Post reported Saturday.
“If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes,” he told the Post. “It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement.”
Gee, ya think?
BLM has been raking in the cash to further the cause of black America while Khan-Cullors, BLM’s cofounder and a self-proclaimed Marxist, dropped millions to live with white people.
According to the Post, her most recent purchase was a “custom ranch” in Georgia that sits on “3.2 rural acres” and features a “private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it[.]”
I’m sorry, but aren’t radical leftists such as Khan-Cullors supposed to be boycotting Georgia? Well, I guess she doesn’t want to give up that “three-bedroom, two-bath house, about 30 minutes from Atlanta [that] has an indoor swimming pool and a separate ‘RV shop’ that can accommodate the repair of a mobile home or small aircraft, according to the real estate listing.”
The thought of the cofounder of Black Lives Matter RV’n across America is almost too delicious to dream of.

Ford, GM, Other Michigan Companies Denounce State Senate Voting Bills
The businesses released a joint statement Tuesday saying they are united for principles such as equal ballot access, and against moves that limit voting in “historically disenfranchised communities.”
“Our nation is strongest when we stand together,” the corporations said in the joint statement. “We call on our elected officials to adopt these principles as they proceed in the spirit of inclusion and equality.”
The statement also criticized measures in the 39-bill package from the state Senate, which includes controlling absentee ballot applications and counting; improving election clerk training; empowering poll watchers to better observe electoral activity; and more.
Voters would have to show identification to get an absentee ballot, and governments would be prohibited from providing prepaid postage on ballot envelopes.
But Michigan Senate Republican leaders viewed the legislation not as an effort to disenfranchise communities, but as a bipartisan effort to bolster voter integrity in communities.
Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey (R-Clarklake) said that he is looking to work with colleagues across the aisle on these bills, adding that the legislative process has only just begun.
“At all times, we must use logic, not political sentiment or ‘wokeness’ to build good public policy that will serve all Michiganders and safeguard our democracy,” he said in a statement. “If having an ID is viewed as an obstacle to voting because there is a problem with getting ID, let’s solve that problem.”
Companies are also protesting voting bills in other states. American Airlines, for example, protested Texas state Senate Bill 7, an election integrity bill, because the company said it “limited voting access.”

Harris was put in charge of the migrant crisis last month and has received criticism for not visting the border or holding any events related to her role
On Wednesday she is meeting virtually with experts to talk about situations in Northern Triangle countries
Former Trump DHS officials claimed they are glad Harris is not getting involved with the border crisis because she would make it worse

Mexico To Deploy 12K Officials Near U.S.-Mexico Border
On Tuesday, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said the country has deployed at least 12,000 officials to the southern border to help deal with the surge in migrant arrivals. He also confirmed they are also sending security personnel to the country’s border with Guatemala
Ebrard went on to voice concern for minors reportedly being used by human smugglers to facilitate their passage while calling the practice a “major human rights violation.”
“There is an agreement with the United States and there will be an investment in Central America; there is no way we can regulate this phenomenon if there are no options in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, mainly,” stated the Mexican official. “The other thing we agreed on is that we have to go after these traffickers because this is something we had not seen in the whole of history, we’ve never seen trafficking of minors on this scale.”
This comes as the U.S. continues to face the biggest migrant surge in 20 years with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) holding more than 15,000 undocumented minors in custody.
