Kazak, in the novel "The Sirens of Titan" was the dog of Winston Niles Rumfoord who was with his master when they were both Chrono-Synclastic Infundibulated. He would appear where his master did and left the galaxy with him. He was also known as the Space Hound. Kazak also appeared in the epilogue of the novel "Breakfast of Champions" as a Doberman pinscher, the vicious guard dog for Maritimo Brothers Construction Company which attacks Kurt's character in the book.
He appears again in Galápagos as the seeing eye dog of Selena MacIntosh.
