An incident involving an Ontario Provincial Police officer pushing a young boy off a scooter in Gravenhurst, Ontario made headlines across the province in the wake of last week's announcement by Premier Ford where police were granted more powers to enforce COVID restrictions. After the various police departments across the province pushed back on these new powers, the government walked back some of the claims it had made only a short time earlier.

Given what happened with the young boy in Gravenhurst, it's not clear that the Ontario Provincial Police, got that memo.

Joining Ezra Levant to talk about this unfortunate incident in police enforcement on yesterday's episode of The Ezra Levant Show was Andrew Lawton from True North.

Ezra asked Andrew how exactly police and government officials are supposed to regain trust and respect from their communities after something like what happened in Gravenhurst occurs, Andrew told Ezra that:

Police have been saying throughout the course of the pandemic that their goal is to make enforcement the last resort. And this was something that I was getting from police services when I was doing my roundup over the weekend, is they have 'the four E's' — education is there, and enforcement is the last one. They're saying on the surface that they don't want to be laying tickets for these restrictions.

And the problem that we have is that politicians are enforcing — or imposing, rather — this culture of enforcement. You played a clip from Ontario Solicitor General Sylvia Jones earlier — in that same press conference she made a comment that was egregious in nature.

She was asked by a reporter whether people should basically be snitching on their neighbours and her only concern with that we might overburden government phonelines.

This was it. The only issue she raised was that, 'well, you know what, it might overburden emergency services, but if you can save a life you have to wonder about your social responsibility.

And this is now a snitch culture that the government is heaping on its citizens and there's no coming back from that.

Montreal police grab masked woman at protest, issue $3k in COVID fines

Giovanna Zitiello isn't a criminal, but that's how she's being treated by the Montreal police for simply expressing her displeasure with the oppressive lockdown in her province.

Zitiello went to a an anti-lockdown protest back in March. It's her right as a Canadian citizen to be able to publicly display her opposition to the government. However, in Quebec, the government has been particularly heavy-handed with those who protest the lockdown, by issuing fines and tickets in excess of $1,500 each.

The cops also don't seem to like their actions against protestors being documented and scrutinized. Police have ticketed Rebel News reporters covering anti-lockdown protests, tried to get illegal access to our Airbnb when our team flew in to cover police misdeeds, arrested and criminally charged David Menzies, and routinely harass Yaakov Pollak, even referring to him as “media juif”.

So Zitiello already had that against her. But it gets worse. She's medically mask exempt due to a chronic health condition that can result in fainting. As Zitiello tells it, when she was at the protest, two male officers saw her without her mask. They forcefully grabbed her and tried to force her to wear one, ignoring her explanation that she has a medical condition that prevents her from doing so.

Zitiello describes her experience as frightening and traumatizing. And I agree.

Internal emails in Trudeau's government nixed a social media post touting vaccines as a “treatment” for COVID-19.

Erika Zeroual, a communications advisor with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) wrote to fellow staffer Stephanie Burnett Landry looking for approval on a proposed departmental tweet on October 22, 2020.

The email described the tweet and read, in part:

We’d like to tweet out the following for tomorrow’s announcement:

“#GoC announces funding for two #COVID19 vaccine candidates, keeping Canada at the forefront of the global race to find a treatment @PrecisionNano @medicagoinc.”

Burnett Landry replied to caution against using the description of a COVID “therapy”:

Treatment would be associated with a therapy. These firms are doing vaccines candidates. [Staffer Rodrigo Arancibia] knows best but maybe we use words like ‘fight’ or ‘prevent’ or ‘combat COVID-19’.

An Ontario Provincial Police officer threatened to “make it rain with tickets” while talking to a group of people staying at a rental property in Wasaga Beach, after Premier Doug Ford granted police increased powers in an effort to enforce COVID restrictions.

The interaction was caught on video by a home doorbell camera, and was reported by Simcoe.com.

The unmasked officer, standing next to his masked partner, warns the unseen occupants that “at midnight tonight, it's roadblocks,” and then explains “so, if you're in a vehicle we're going to pull you over and say 'where are you from?'”

“And if it doesn't say Wasaga Beach, we're going to make it rain with tickets,” while making a hand gesture to simulate throwing numerous tickets.

According to the Simcoe.com report, the family staying at the house lives in the Toronto area. They were staying in the small town, about 140 kilometres north of the city on the shores of Georgian Bay, while looking for a property to purchase in the area.

The incident, which occurred late in the evening on Friday, April 16, came hours after Ford and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones announced increased enforcement efforts during a press conference. The enhanced policing was set to take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 17.

Following intense backlash from the public as well as police forces declining to use the enhanced powers, the Ford government quickly walked back the plan to have police conduct random checks on pedestrians and motorists.

For the family staying in Wasaga Beach, however, the change did not come fast enough. Aaron Armstrong, the owner of the property, told Simcoe.com that the officers required the family to pack up and head back to Toronto that evening.

Armstrong went on to note that the officers had been dispatched due to a complaint, after two friends of the renters had visited the property earlier in the day to celebrate a birthday, though there were still only five people in the house.

The detachment commander for the OPP, Inspector Andrew Tait, told the outlet that officers had issued several warnings Friday night “as part of the education piece” regarding the stay-at-home order. Tait added that the incident could have been “a one-off where an officer was making their own interpretation as opposed to official direction that was given.”

“As far as 'raining' tickets, it goes without saying that's not our purpose and that's not our role,” Tait added. “Something of that nature, ensuring professionalism of our members, it goes without saying that's the number one priority for me, and if such comments were made… to me that's not acceptable.”

In an update with Simcoe.com, Inspector Tait described the group as being four young adults who ranged in age from 19 to their mid-20s and were from different households in the Greater Toronto Area. Tait considered the approximately 10-minute engagement between the officers and the group as “a very positive encounter.”

Burnaby School District bans crazy hair days for causing offence

The Burnaby School District has banned crazy hair days in order to be “more mindful of equity and inclusion.”

The school district says there have been “reports of harm” from students and parents who have been offended by the common themed day, leading the district to ban the event in all schools.

“Upon reflection and insight, we have realized that this choice does not align with our values,” wrote the vice-principal of equity, diversity and inclusion Beth Applewhite.

According to the school district, the term “crazy” is offensive to people suffering from mental illness and the event itself is not inclusive for people who wear head coverings like turbans or hijabs.

Applewhite proposed district schools replace the event with something like “silly sock days.”

“While there are some cute and elaborate ideas out there, all too often, the expressions that come out of this are styles that too closely resemble (intentionally or not) actual cultural and ethnic hairstyles,” she told Burnaby Now.

Leftist activists have been trying to purge words like “crazy” and “wacky” for sometime now, suggesting that words discriminate against people with mental illnesses.

While the school district claims that banning crazy hair days was the right decision, other educators do not agree.

One anonymous elementary school teacher told Burnaby Now that the themed day was appreciated and increased comradery. She said the decision to ban the day is an example of top-down overreach by the district.

“There’s just been so much cancel culture, and that’s not the society I want to live in,” she said.

“I want to live in a society where we can have debates and we can be in disagreement and we can find common ground without necessarily chucking the baby out with the bath water.”

18-Year-Old Undergoes 3 Brain Surgeries From Blood Clots After J&J Vaccine

A Nevada teen who received Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) COVID vaccine on April 1 underwent three brain surgeries to repair blood clots she developed about a week after receiving the vaccine, Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

According to family spokesperson Bret Johnson, after Emma Burkey, 18, suffered seizures, doctors placed her in an induced coma and on a respirator. The high school senior has improved and is now awake and off the respirator, but still requires a tracheostomy tube, which has impaired her ability to speak.

“She is improving slowly,” Johnson told Las Vegas Review-Journal. “The word we got from her parents last night was ‘slowly, slowly slowly.’ For a while there, her situation and condition was completely unknown. Very scary and very iffy, honestly.”

Although Burkey experienced a “massive brain injury,” her parents are “cautiously optimistic,” Johnson said.

Burkey was first treated at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson before being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California for specialized care.

According to Fox 5 Las Vegas, Burkey was one of the six women whose case is under review by U.S. health agencies, which last week paused the vaccine citing concerns about blood clots.

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) panel said Burkey and other women experienced headaches and back pain prior to the discovery of blood clots.

The CDC panel also disclosed that Burkey was given heparin, a blood thinner which typically is standard treatment for blood clots, but in cases like Burkey’s, can actually make the condition worse.

“If someone comes in with this really rather rare syndrome of thrombotic thrombocytopenia where you get thromboses, the most common way to treat that would be with heparin,” White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said during an April 13 White House news briefing. “That would be a mistake in this situation because that could be dangerous and make the situation worse.”

As The Defender reported April 16, Children’s Health Defense queried data from the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) for events associated with clotting disorders. VAERS yielded a total of 795 reports for all three vaccines from Dec. 14, 2020, through April 8. Of the 795 cases reported, there were 400 reports attributed to Pfizer, 337 reports to Moderna and 56 reports associated with J&J.

U.S. health authorities recommended a pause for J&J vaccinations last week while they investigate reports of what they described as “rare and severe” clot conditions. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices is scheduled to meet Friday to consider whether to resume vaccinations with J&J’s single-dose shot, and if so, what recommendations or restrictions for use should be put in place.

The European Medicines Agency said Tuesday its safety committee recommended a warning about a rare, serious blood-clot condition be added to the product information for J&J’s vaccine. The agency, which oversees drug regulation in the EU, said the benefits still outweigh the risks of the vaccine, but noted people should be aware of rare blood clot symptoms so they can quickly get treated if they develop symptoms.

Sustainable, local, organic food grown on small farms has a tremendous amount to offer. Unlike chemical-intensive industrial-scale agriculture, it regenerates rural communities; it doesn’t pollute rivers and groundwater or create dead zones; it can save coral reefs; it doesn’t encroach on rainforests; it preserves soil and it can restore the climate. Why do all governments not promote it?

For policymakers, the big obstacle to global promotion and restoration of small-scale farming (leaving aside the lobbying power of agribusiness) is allegedly that, “it can’t feed the world.” If that claim were true, local food systems would be bound to leave people hungry and so promoting them becomes selfish, short-termist and unethical.

Nevertheless, this purported flaw in sustainable and local agriculture represents a curious charge because, no matter where one looks in global agriculture, food prices are low because products are in surplus.

Often, they are in huge surplus, even in the hungriest countries. Farmers will tell you they are going out of business because, as a result of these surpluses, prices are low and continuously falling. Indeed, declining agricultural prices are a broad trend continuing, with the odd blip, for over a century, and applying to every commodity. This downward trend has continued even through a recent biofuel boom designed to consume some of these surpluses. In other words, the available data contradict the likelihood of food shortages. Despite the rising global population, food gluts are everywhere…

A couple quick items

It is rumored that some women are expelling their entire uterine lining after getting the corona jab

It is actually not really rumor but since I did not talk to anyone directly for this topic, I’ll call it that. I just went over social media posts and I did not even know this could happen before reading them. After the corona vax searches on this topic spiked dramatically so there’s something to this.

I am going to throw a few bones out there for those who are interested in this –

Under normal circumstances this is very rare, and when this happens it is called a decidual cast. These usually happen when pregnancies go wrong, or after abortions, or when women take any of the pregnancy hormones at too high an amount and then suddenly stop taking them. The entire uterine wall gets expelled and it comes out in one piece that looks like a uterus. It is rare, this seldom happens even due to the causes mentioned here, it takes a serious hormonally traumatic event to trigger a decidual cast. Under normal circumstances, they don’t lead to infertility.

But what if the woman had no pregnancy go wrong, took no hormones, had EVERYTHING normal, and then this happens? Well, it does not happen. Yet after the corona vax it is happening.

Let me explain something here –

Even when a woman is not pregnant, she still has pregnancy hormones in her at a constant level. When she gets pregnant, they increase to help maintain the pregnancy but even without a pregnancy, she still has them. If the corona vax is triggering decidual casts, it means that normal non-pregnant hormonal levels are spiked downward so much the body believes a traumatic pregnancy event happened and it expels the entire uterine wall. My guess (and I am more than right, I am damn right and it’s really no guess at all) – my FACTUAL supposition that goes beyond theory is that if you take a woman who’s not pregnant and down spike her hormones so bad that this happens she’s no longer fertile, and probably never will be again. My guess is that the vaxxes are tracked via serial number so that some women always get a saline shot and the elite will end up with about 50 million fertile women left over when this all washes out so they can keep and manage a slave pool. There’s absolutely no reason for women who are not messing with their hormones intentionally at a level well beyond birth control, or women that did not have a traumatic pregnancy event to have this happen EVER, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN OUTSIDE THOSE CONDITIONS, EVER. Yet after the vax, it is happening. Welcome to the new normal.

Ford apologizes for controversial lockdown measures

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has publicly apologized for restrictions announced last week after backlash from the public and law enforcement.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Ford admitted that his government moved too fast in introducing extensive new restrictions on travel and public gatherings.

“We moved fast to put in measures in place to reduce mobility, but we moved too fast,” he said.

“I know that some of those measures, especially around enforcement, they went too far. Simply put, we got it wrong. We made a mistake.”

Last week, Ford gave Ontario police the power to stop-and-question anyone seen outside of their residence to enforce his latest restrictions.

Just one day later, Ford backtracked on the stop-and-question measure after almost all police forces in the province refused to use it. He also reversed the closure of playgrounds.

Ford acknowledged that the previous measures were excessive and took personal responsibility for the harm they may have caused.

“These decisions left a lot of people very concerned. In fact, they left a lot of people angry and upset,” he said.

“I know we got it wrong, I know we made a mistake, and for that I am sorry and I sincerely apologize. As premier, as I said right from the beginning, the buck stops with me. Again, I’m sorry and I apologize to each and every one of you.”

Ford appeared to be very emotional throughout the press conference, at one point choking back tears while discussing the damage the pandemic has caused families and businesses.

Ford’s new restrictions on interprovincial travel also caused massive traffic jams along the border with Quebec.

FACT CHECK: Trudeau falsely claimed Harper cut support during 2008 recession

Following the presentation of the 2021 budget in the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed in a press conference that the former Conservative government of Stephen Harper had “cut support” too quickly during the 2008 recession.

A True North review of federal spending programs from 2008 and 2009 found Trudeau’s statement to be misleading.

“In the last year we promised to have people’s back through this crisis. That means protecting you and your family. It also means making the right investments on what comes next,” Trudeau told reporters.

“We remember what happened when the previous government cut support too quickly during the great recession of 2008. We won’t be making that mistake. This budget lays out a plan for good middle-class jobs and a clean resilient economy that works for everyone.”

Trudeau’s claim rests on two points: that the Harper government had cut financial and economic support to Canadians and that it happened too soon. In reality, the Harper government massively increased spending to support Canadians through the crisis and introduced the multi-year Economic Action Plan which has been described by experts as “one of the largest stimulus packages among affluent OECD countries.”

In 2008, the Harper government introduced spending on numerous public services and supports for Canadians including the then-newly-created Tax-Free Savings Account to ensure lower and middle income Canadians could keep more of their money in their pockets.

Additional support for students was also introduced in that year’s budget, including a $350 million investment in the Canada Student Grant Program, as well as $28 million in new scholarships for both Canadian and international students.

Harper also dedicated $110 million in mental health and homelessness support to the Mental Health Commision that year.

In terms of investments into science and the environmental sector, in 2008 the Conservatives dedicated $250 million for research into developing greener and more fuel-efficient automotive technology. Additional investments were also made to improve environmental protection, with $10 million being allocated to Natural Resources Canada.

As for 2009, while the rest of the world was reeling from the financial crisis, the Harper government introduced several stimulus measures into the budget to help Canadians weather the storm.

Part of Harper’s stimulus plan included an $8.3 billion investment to the Canadian Skills and Transition Strategy with an additional $20 billion in personal income tax relief that year. The Conservatives also funelled $7.8 billion in order to stimulate the housing market, including an additional $12 billion in infrastructure funding.

In fact, the Conservative government’s Economic Action Plan (EAP) stimulus spending made up 1.9% of Canada’s GDP in 2009 alone.

One of the major income supports provided to Canadian workers during the 2008 crisis by the federal government was a two-year $500 million investment to extend Employment Insurance (EI) benefits for workers involved in long-term training as well as expanding the time duration of entitlements workers could receive through EI. Changes to the EI program also included lowering eligibility requirements so more Canadians could receive assistance.

With regard to support for Canada’s First Nations, the Harper government dedicated an additional $1.4 billion to Aboriginal issues on top of the $10 billion the government was spending at the time annually.

The EAP remained in effect for two years until 2011 when even the US had regained its pre-recession GDP levels. In comparison, the Liberal government’s pandemic spending programs have only been in effect since the Canada Emergency Response Benefit was introduced in March 2020.

Cuts to programs did begin around 2012, at a time when the Canadian economy was recovering. As it ended its stimulus program, the Harper government returned to its fiscal roots and slashed funding to the Canadian Conference of the Arts, the Canadian Foundation for Climate and Atmospheric Sciences and several other government programs and public sector agencies.

Given that Harper’s generous stimulus programs were in effect for a significantly longer time period than the current government’s COVID-19 emergency measures, it is misleading for Trudeau to claim that the Harper government had cut support “too soon” at a time when many countries had already experienced recovery from the recession.

You can forget all about buying and selling. Because once they inject this thing into your hand, you won’t be able to climb into a car, much less walk down the street, without getting tagged. Sometime late in the nineteenth century, the French pharmacologist extracted the oxidative enzymes necessary to generate bio-luminescent light. Think fireflies. Jellyfish. And certain fungi. Those two chemicals are luciferin and luciferase, names which he personally coined. They’re derived from the its Latin counterpart, lucifer.

And the name means Light-bringer.

From the moment I began warning people about ID2020, Bill Gate’s magnum opus project, which promises to assign every man, woman, and child on earth a digital identification mark, I have stumbled upon a multitude of “Bible-believers” who are already justifying their decisions with the worst deductive argument, and perhaps the most tragic in the course of human history. And it goes something like this:

“I see nothing wrong with taking ID2020.

I am not deceived.

Therefore, ID2020 is not the Mark.”

Again—worst deductive argument ever.

I’m not sure what else I or anybody else can possibly say to convince everyone of the grave situation we find ourselves in. Everything that I’m about to mention is currently being developed by Bill Gates, often in partnership with the COVID-19 playbook, MIT—all of which is backed by the United Nations and the Rockefeller Foundation.

ONE: ID2020 is a global digital identification system and will be expected of every man, woman, and child, and is quite literally called a Certification Mark.

TWO: Due to ongoing mutations with COVID-19 (I know), the coronavirus vaccine currently being developed will alter our DNA through an actual synthesizing of our individual genetic code using mRNA and CRISPER technology, which acts as scissors by cutting DNA at a designated spot and removing or inserting a new sequence with an artificial code. Need I remind you; this is the transhumanist wet dream.

THREE: A recent Microsoft patent, 060606, involves another implantable device for the purposes of buying and selling, which is mutually covered by ID2020 (and is likely the same project). It’s a cryptocurrency system that monitors our bodily activity—even our thoughts and emotions—and rewards each person based upon how well the perform their task with monetary transactions.

FOUR: A tiny drug delivery chip will act as a contraceptive agent, turning off a woman’s ability to reproduce like the flip of a light switch.

FIVE: The digital ID will include an Immunity Passport.

SIX: to make sure every man, woman, and child complies with the One World Order’s mandatory implementations, Gates and MIT are currently developing the “Human Implantable Quantum Dot Microneedle Vaccination Delivery System.” It’s a tattoo for the hand, which will include our identification Mark and vaccination records.

Liberal Health Minister Patty Hajdu claimed in the House of Commons on Thursday that Vitamin D supplementation as an additional preventive measure against COVID-19 infection was “fake news.”

Hajdu made the comments in response to a question posed to her by Independent MP Derek Sloan on why Health Canada is not actively recommending Canadians to take the supplement.

“At least 75 recent studies show that optimal Vitamin D levels significantly reduce susceptibility to COVID-19 and significantly improve health outcomes if people do get infected. It has been documented for decades that Canadians have suboptimal Vitamin D levels, especially during winter. Can the minister explain why Health Canada’s website states that most Canadians are getting enough Vitamin D and doesn’t actively recommend supplementing,” asked Sloan.

“I would encourage the member opposite to not fall prey to the myriad of fake news articles that are circulating around the internet about ways that people can protect themselves from COVID and trust that the Public Health Agency of Canada only puts science-based credible documents up guided ofcourse by our Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Tam and the many scientists that work for us,” said Hajdu.

“What Canadians need now is trust and they need to be able to trust in the information that their elected officials are sharing and I would urge the member to get his sources from credible sites.”

Contrary to Hajdu’s insinuation that “credible sites” have not discussed Vitamin D as a preventative measure, numerous Canadian mainstream news outlets have published features highlighting research into the supplement.

For example, since at least 2020, CTV News has published a handful of articles highlighting Vitamin D research.

One article dated October 27, 2020 was titled “More than 80 per cent of hospitalized COVID-19 patients had vitamin D deficiency: study,” another article from March 21, 2021 was called “High vitamin D levels may protect against COVID-19, especially for Black people: study.”

Canada’s own public broadcaster, the CBC, has also published numerous pieces which explore Vitamin D as a potential treatment for COVID-19.

While the US government has not explicitly recommended the use of Vitamin D as a preventative measure or treatment of COVID-19, the US National Institute of Health has noted that insufficient data exists to recommend “either for or against” its use.

Other countries’ health departments, like the UK’s National Health Service recommends people take 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day during the winter months for general health reasons but also notes that more data is needed to determine its ability to prevent or treat COVID-19.

And THEN you claim that, THEREFORE, you have ISOLATED the virus and demonstrated that it is deadly. AND it is a new virus that no one has ever found before. AND you know the precise genetic structure of this virus.

In other words, you’ve shown the OPPOSITE of isolation. The soup in the swamp never delivers up any evidence of a virus. But you SAY it does.

And this is the basis for declaring a worldwide pandemic.

And no one is supposed to disagree.

And this is science.

And because you’re connected to every government in the world, and every major news source, and to the CDC and the WHO, and to untold numbers of law-enforcement entities, you try to shove this “science” down the throats of 7.8 billion people.

Toronto Home Hardware employee doesn’t like mask exemption rule on bylaw sign — so he covers it up!

Meet John (he didn’t want to divulge his surname). John is a contractor.

Recently, John had to purchase some building supplies. He could’ve gone to a big box Home Depot, but instead, he chose to go to a nearby Home Hardware store.

The reason? John wanted to support “the little guy” during these dreadful lockdown times.

Alas, too bad the little guy turned out to be a really big [insert expletive here].

Here’s the deal: things went sideways for John when a Home Hardware staff member noticed he wasn’t wearing a mask (John has a medical exemption).

John received a tongue-lashing from the Covid-Karen and then, incredibly, she removed the goods he intended to purchase right out of his hands. Clearly, John was customer non grata, as he was then shown the door.

Once he was outside in the parking lot of the store, he pointed out to another employee the City of Toronto mask bylaw signage that notes that the face diaper rule does not apply to those with a medical exemption.

At that point, something downright surreal happened: the employee went back in the store and seconds later came back outside… whereupon he proceeded to cover up the mask exemption rule on the sign with a piece of duct tape — as if this tampering would somehow exempt the shop from the bylaw exemptions! (I know this sounds beyond belief, but we have the video evidence.)

We later interviewed John outside the Home Hardware store on Dufferin Street. Alas, when we attempted to get a response from the individual who is likely the owner, we were told to scram or face trespassing charges.

Customer. Service. Excellence.

Bottom line: Home Hardware may be the “home of the handyman.” But at this particular Home Hardware, it looks like the handyman got a little too handy. And that’s not dandy.

Police keep the peace between protesters, angry onlookers at Toronto Freedom Rally

This past Saturday, hundreds of lockdown protesters gathered for Toronto’s weekly anti-lockdown protest and march for freedom.

The protest, which officially took place during a province-wide stay-at-home order, drew an energetic, boisterous and friendly crowd. Many of those in attendance have been attending the protest since it first started just over one year ago.

Dozens of police officers, including a mounted unit and a facial recognition surveillance van, kept watch over the protesters at Queen’s Park and escorted them through several downtown Toronto neighbourhoods.

The protest has been mired in unjustified controversy since its inception. It was the scene of several violent arrests during Ontario’s first stay-at-home order in January and painted on social media as a dangerous 'super-spreader' event. Despite its weekly occurrence and growing turnout, it has been almost entirely ignored by mainstream news.

But the energy has shifted over the last four weeks. A cordial rapport has developed between the police and protesters. Law enforcement officers now play the role of peacekeepers between the protesters and angry onlookers, rather than enforcers of unconstitutional health edicts.

On Saturday, people came out to the 12 Division police station to show support for Sgt. Brown as a way to honour him for his recent actions. Officers at the station confirmed that after being suspended for his actions, Sgt. Brown is now back to regular duty.

We aren’t certain as to what is going to happen to HUF Gym in the weeks to come. Will the police continue to allow them to operate against the current by-laws that are locking down fitness facilities? Rebel News will be following this story closely.

Roughly one year after the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation seized control of the global response to COVID-19 with the goal of providing "equitable access" to a vaccine, Bill Gates & Co. have accomplished the opposite: The Covid-19 ACT-Accelerator mechanism, backed by the Gates Foundation, has a stated policy of respecting the exclusive intellectual property rights of western drugmakers. At the same time, the WHO-backed alternative solution, known as Covid-19 Technology Access Pool, or C-TAP, which was supposed to foster an open-source pool of vaccine and drug technology, has mostly faltered.

As India's second-wave COVID-19 outbreak spirals out of control, more parties have come forward to criticize Gates for his support of IP protections. Considering the scarcity of the medicines, there have been increasing calls from countries like India and South Africa, international relief organizations and other public figures to waive IP protections so that poorer countries can get faster access to the vaccines. WTO Director General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has led a host of emerging-market nations in a push to waive IP protections, arguing that numerous facilities exist that could ramp up production in the coming months.

But as pressure to reconsider this stance mounts, Gates insisted during an interview Monday with Sky News' Sophy Ridge that stripping IP protections from vaccine recipes wouldn't be helpful. Asked point blank about the issue, Gates responded with an emphatic "no".

"The thing that’s holding things back in this case is not intellectual property. It’s not like there’s some idle vaccine factory, with regulatory approval, that makes magically safe vaccines. You know, you’ve got to do the trial on these things. Every manufacturing process has to be looked at in a very careful way," Gates explained. "There are all sorts of issues around intellectual property having to do with medicines. But not in terms of how quickly we’ve been able to ramp up the volume here."

As Gates sees it, his foundation has helped to accelerate the pace of vaccine testing and design by years. In the past, it would likely have taken decades for poor nations to get supplies from rich states that designed them. "Typically, in global health it takes a decade between when a vaccine comes into the rich world and when it gets into the poor countries," Gates said.

While Gates apparently can't see past how things were done in the past, critics quickly pointed out that countries like the US are already stockpiling more vaccines than they can use. And while Gates insists that there aren't any factories in the developing world capable of making patented western jabs, India's Serum Institute is an obvious example of how this simply isn't the case. Plus, many of the countries pushing the vaccine IP waiver at the WTO have identified facilities where vaccine production can be ramped up quickly.

Opponents of this approach from within the pharmaceutical industry are scrambling to lobby the Biden Administration to oppose the waiver push at the WTO after a recent speech by Katherine Tai, Biden's top trade official, stipulated that Washington would "consider what modifications and reforms" can be applied to intellectual property rules. Among other risks, Big Pharma is arguing that an "open" vaccine would benefit American rivals like China and Russia.

But the reality is that billions of denizens of the developing world stand to benefit, while drug companies and the international pharmaceutical industry stands to miss out on some profits.

A full hearing on the constitutionality of quarantine hotels and quarantine facilities is slated to be held from June 1-3

TORONTO, Ontario, April 26, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – A Canadian federal court judge has said “there can be little doubt” that Canadians rights’ to liberty and security of person are challenged by COVID-19 rules which mandate a quarantine hotel stay for those entering Canada by air.

“At this stage of the case, I am not prepared to reject out of hand the Applicants’ argument that their liberty has been constrained in a manner that is not in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice. […] Indeed, there can be little doubt that a government rule that requires individuals to go to, and to remain at, a particular location on pain of fine or jail will engage section 7 liberty interests,” wrote federal court Judge William F. Pentney in an April 23 ruling.

Judge Pentney’s ruling came about because of legal action being taken against the Canadian federal government’s COVID-19 quarantine hotels by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), on behalf of 11 applicants.

In a news release today, the JCCF said that the court found that both Charter Section 7- the right to life liberty and security of person, and Section 9 - the right not to be arbitrarily detained are “engaged by the federal quarantine policies and were serious issues to be tried at a further trial.”

The JCCF had been in court over the past few weeks to seek an injunction to “put an immediate stop to Trudeau’s quarantine hotels and facilities until a full hearing can be heard on the matter.”

While the JCCF said the court did not grant the interim injunction, it was pleased that the judge “accepted without reserve” that an independent judiciary is important in protecting Canadians rights in times of emergencies…

Canadian Doctor Defies Gag Order and Tells the Public How the Moderna COVID Injections Killed and Permanently Disabled Indigenous People in His Community

Charles Hoffe has been a medical doctor for 28 years in the small, rural town of Lytton in British Columbia, Canada. The town is comprised of many indigenous groups and the “First Nations.”

When Dr. Hoffe was given 900 doses of the Moderna experimental COVID-19 injections, he administered the doses through the Lytton Medical Clinic to those who wanted them.

He chose not to inject himself.

Dr. Hoffe reports that the result of injecting 900 people among the indigenous First Nations community was that 2 people went into anaphylactic shock, one person died, and several others have suffered what appear to be permanent disabilities. He relates how one of his patients is in so much pain now, that she prefers death to life.

By contrast, no one in the community died or became permanently disabled due to the COVID-19 virus for the past year.

Dr. Hoffe reported these adverse reactions by email to the medical personnel in his community who were responsible for the roll-out of the Moderna shots, which included pharmacists, nurses, and doctors in his area, a total of about 18 people he says.

His email expressed grave concern over the side effects he was seeing, and he asked if perhaps they should pause the injections for a while.

He reports that within 48 hours he received a very stern rebuke from his superiors at the Interior Health Authority accusing him of causing “vaccine hesitancy” and that they were going to report him to BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.

They forbade him from saying anything negative about the Moderna shots by issuing a gag order against him.

Dr. Hoffe explains that this is a method of intimidation that is being used against other doctors who have become too afraid to speak out, because the College of Physicians and Surgeons has great authority to shut down doctors’ careers, or heavily fine them.

As he continued to see more injuries the following week, he became very angry about his gag order. He was told that if he had any concerns about the injections that he had to contact the medical health officer in charge of the Moderna roll out.

He did, but when he did not receive a reply, he decided to write an open letter directly to Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia Provincial Health Officer, in direct defiance of his gag order since he made it public.

The Trudeau government once again finds itself mired in controversy. At issue is the Liberal government’s handling of sexual misconduct allegations levelled at Canada’s former chief of defence staff Gen. Jonathan Vance since at least 2018.

Vance was first appointed to the top military position in 2015.

A number of committees have been dedicated to investigating the specific allegations and the larger issue of sexual harassment in the Armed Forces at large.

On Jan. 14, Vance retired as Chief of the Defence Staff after serving in the position for nearly five years.

Soon after Vance’s retirement, Global News published an exclusive report detailing allegations made by at least two women under his command.

One of the women claimed she had a relationship with Vance for years contrary to the Canadian Armed Forces’ code of conduct, which prohibits unreported personal relationships between superiors and those under their command. Meanwhile, another younger woman came forward in the same report to claim that Vance had made sexual comments in an email exchange.

Vance has since claimed that he did not recall the email interaction but was open to apologizing for it. With regard to the other allegation, Vance has claimed that the relationship with the subordinate was not sexual at the time she was within his chain of command and he has denied all allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

Several months after the Global News report, Maj. Kellie Brennan eventually went public with her claims that she had a relationship with Vance. According to her testimony before the House of Commons status of women committee, Vance allegedly fathered two of her children during their years-long affair.

Reports reveal that Brennan and Vance had been in a relationship since at least 2001 when both of them worked in Gagetown, New Brunswick. By 2006, Brennan was directly under Vance’s authority while both of them worked for the Armed Forces in Toronto.

Brennan also claimed that Vance told her that he was “untouchable” by the military police and that he had even instructed her to lie about the allegations.

In 2018, former military ombudsman Gary Walbourne requested a private meeting with Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan to raise the allegations.

Despite Walbourne’s concerns, Sajjan refused to look at the evidence or hear about the matter any further and the issue was passed along to the Privy Council Office.

“My intent was to have that conversation with the minister, but we never got far enough to have the conversation because he stopped the meeting,” said Walbourne about the exchange.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has since claimed that he had no knowledge about the 2018 allegation prior to it being reported in the news.

“I first learned of allegations against Gen. Vance in Global News reporting. We have launched an independent investigation,” said Trudeau at the time.

According to committee records, after Sajjan had passed the matter along, Janine Sherman from the Privy Council Office contacted Walbourne to discuss the matter further. However, upon meeting, the issue was dropped after the victim didn’t feel they had enough assurances of protection from retaliation.

Now, it has been revealed by former Trudeau adviser Elder Marques that the prime minister’s top aide Katie Telford was also aware about the allegations made against Vance nearly three years ago.

“I think very quickly everyone had the same information, which was very limited, and we quickly moved to asking the Privy Council to now take carriage of that matter and do what it could with that information to have an investigation ultimately take place,” said Marques.

In April, the Liberals pushed to end the defence committee’s investigation into military misconduct and the allegations against Vance. An inquiry into the matter is still ongoing at the status of women committee, where the Conservatives hope to invite Telford to testify.

The Ontario Superior Court recently made an announcement stating that it would be directing courts to defer as many matters as possible due to the pandemic. Chief Justice Geoffrey B. Morawetz issued the notice saying that courts should reduce the number of staff, lawyers and parties that would be required to leave their homes, while also adding that virtual hearings should be deferred as well.

On yesterday's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra examined the cases that the court would still be hearing. Cases like the “most serious child protection matters, urgent family matters critical criminal matters and urgent commercial or economic matters.”

At first glance, the video seems like the usual fare for Canada during the pandemic. It turns out that those arguing with the Aylmer police were actually police officers themselves.

The officers attending the Church of God in Aylmer were charged for their involvement in the allegedly illegal gathering.

Each Saturday at the Alberta legislature grounds in Edmonton, a protest takes place that you won't hear about in the mainstream media.

It’s called the Stand for Liberty protest, and each week about 50 people — though sometimes as many as 100 — show up to express their opposition to the pandemic restrictions on businesses, places of worship and private gatherings in Alberta. Church attendance is currently limited to 15 per cent of fire code capacity. Retail is limited to 30 per cent. Indoor gatherings are forbidden outside of those who live in the same household.

Outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people are also illegal — which means that roughly 40 people who attended the protest at the legislature’s Capital Plaza and then marched through the streets of Edmonton chanting for freedom were risking a $1,200 lockdown ticket.

Judge dismisses Justice Centre quarantine hotel injunction, full hearing set for June

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) announced yesterday that a federal court has released a decision on its efforts to seek an interim injunction against the controversial federal quarantine hotel facilities. Although presiding Justice William Pentney did not grant the JCCF the interim injunction it was seeking, the result does not mean the end for legal challenges against the quarantine policy.

Arguing on behalf of nine clients who had been detained in the facilities, the JCCF was seeking to use the judiciary to bring an immediate halt to the mandatory quarantine of travellers arriving to Canada by air travel. The JCCF argued that these rules put them in danger and were in violation of their clients' Charter rights, adding that these law-abiding individuals could have safely quarantined at home.

In response, the Government of Canada argued that travellers being forced to incur extra expenses because of the restrictions is not a basis to suspend important public health measures, given the threats presented by new COVID variants of concern.

Dismissing the requested injunction, Justice Pentney said that any harm to the JCCF clients' Charter rights from a temporary stay at a hotel was not a “sufficient basis to suspend a significant public health measure that is based on the advice of scientific experts, and seeks to prevent or slow the spread of COVID-19 and its variants into Canada.”

The suggestion that these individuals could have safely quarantined at home, Justice Pentney said, did not take into account the one or two per cent of air travellers who had a negative COVID-19 test prior to their departure who nevertheless tested positive upon their arrival in Canada. Justice Pentney also pointed out that “individuals in quarantine continued to pose a risk of spreading the virus by their contact with others.”

“The risk of importing one of the more transmissible and more dangerous COVID-19 variants is demonstrably significant,” the judge wrote.

“Based on the evidence before me, I conclude that it would not be just or equitable to suspend the operation of the challenged quarantine measures pending the determination of the merits of the Applicants' Charter claim.”

One area where the court did unequivocally side with the JCCF was in its assertion that “in a time of emergency, the role of an independent judiciary in safeguarding Charter rights and freedoms takes on additional importance.”

Ultimately, however, the court did not rule on the claims that the restrictions placed on air travellers were a violation of sections 7 and 9 — the right to life, liberty and security of person and the right not to be arbitrarily detained — of the Charter. That decision will be made at a later trial.

The full hearing on the constitutionality of quarantine hotels and facilities put forward by the JCCF is scheduled to be heard on June 1 through June 3.

Litigation director for the JCCF Jay Cameron described the isolation of returning Canadian air travellers as “arbitrary, unnecessary and totalitarian.”

“These quarantine hotels and restrictive measures are more consistent with a dictatorship than a free society. We look forward to the full hearing of these issues in early June,” Cameron said.

Canada will be in lockstep with allies on vaccine passports: Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters on Tuesday that Canada would be in alignment with its international partners and allies on the issue of COVID-19 vaccine passports.

“We are of course looking very very carefully at this issue, even as we are in the third wave right now, dealing with extremely urgent and difficult situations. We continue to plan for how we reopen the economy, how we reopen our borders, how we get back to normal, which is something that all Canadians want to do. Obviously, as was the case pre-pandemic, certificates of vaccination are a part of international travel to certain regions and are naturally to be expected when it comes to this pandemic and the coronavirus,” said Trudeau during a news conference.

“How we actually roll that out in alignment with partners and allies around the world is something that we’re working on right now to coordinate. I can assure you that our decisions will be based on science and the fact that those discussions are ongoing right now means that we will be aligned with our partners around the world.”

Vaccine passports have become a contentious issue for human rights groups and civil liberties organizations.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) has described the idea of using vaccine passports to access public or private services a “radical” idea.

“We need to step outside of our own fear, and demand government leaders step outside of theirs, and subject every intervention, vaccine passports included, to a rigorous analysis grounded in science, in necessity, and in proportionality. With this, as with every policy decision and technical intervention we make to facilitate public safety during this pandemic, we still need to think, up front, about what we want our country to look like now, and in the future,” wrote the CCLA.

Other countries around the world, including 27 member states of the EU, are already taking steps to make the idea a reality. This week, EU officials initiated talks with the US on the development of an international COVID-19 passport known as a Digital Green Certificate.

Trudeau has expressed some reluctance about the idea in the past saying that such a practice could be a form of “discrimination.”

“The idea of certificates of vaccination for domestic use does bring in questions of equity. There are questions of fairness and justice. There could be discrimination,” Trudeau said in March.

“There are some people who, because of medical conditions or other reasons, will not be able to get vaccinated. There are others who are not on priority lists who will have to wait much longer before getting vaccinations. These are things that we have to take into account.”

McKenna promises to “do a better job” following scathing auditor general report

Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna is promising more accountability after the auditor general found her department continuously failed to meet its goals.

Speaking to the House of Commons transport committee, McKenna said the department needs to “do a better job of explaining” following the condemnations from the auditor general.

“We need to fix this. That’s something I am committed to because we obviously need to get a full accounting,” she said.

“Let’s be one hundred percent clear. We have lost no projects. We have tracked all the projects.”

In March, Auditor General Karen Hogan published a report slamming the government’s $188 billion Investing in Canada Plan, warning that goals were not being met, progress was not being reported and funding was going unspent.

“The absence of clear and complete reporting on the Investing in Canada Plan makes it difficult for parliamentarians and Canadians to know whether progress is being made against the intended objectives,” Hogan wrote.

Earlier in the month, Parliamentary Budget Officer Yves Giroux told the transport committee that McKenna’s department is not able to provide documentation for 9000 separate infrastructure projects.

Conservative Infrastructure critic Andrew Scheer said the government’s infrastructure department “is in shambles.”

“This is unacceptable. It is up to Justin Trudeau and his ministers to ensure their departments are functioning. How did they lose 9,000 projects?” said Scheer in a statement.

In the face of criticism from Hogan and the transport committee, McKenna defended her department, claiming they have accurate information on infrastructure projects but they have done a poor job communicating it.

“We have provided the information on all the projects,” said McKenna.

McKenna has also been criticized for her department’s handling of many projects under the Canada Infrastructure Bank.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank, which has yet to complete a project since being created by the Liberals four years ago, recently failed to invite the public to its annual public meeting, leading to more accusations of unaccountability.

Hamilton offers race-based vaccine appointments

The City of Hamilton is now accepting bookings for COVID-19 vaccine appointments based on the race of the applicants.

On Monday, the city’s official Twitter account announced that vaccinations are now available for booking by black and racialized Canadians.

“COVID-19 vaccine appointments are now available for Black and other racialized populations/people of colour ages 18+ who live in postal codes L9C, L8W, L8L, L8N and L9K at the COVID-19 vaccine clinic at FIRSTONTARIO CENTRE, Friday to Sunday this coming week,” the city tweeted.

According to official statistics, Hamilton’s racialized community makes up approximately 19% of the city’s population.

To justify the decision to distribute vaccines based on race, public health officials cite that people of colour are “disproportionately” impacted by COVID-19.

“We know that Black and racialized communities have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and are therefore a group that we want to get vaccine to earlier in the prioritization framework,” said Hamilton Medical Officer of Health Dr. Elizabeth Richardson.

In response to the announcement, numerous Canadians reacted with outrage online, accusing the city of perpetuating racism.

“Looks like my prophetic satire strikes again. There is definitely nothing racist about vaccinating people as a function of their race. That’s simply ‘progressive’ because it is a noble way to fight systemic racism. Slowly we inch…” tweeted evolutionary psychologist and Concordia University professor Gad Saad.

Similarly, University of Toronto professor and psychologist Dr. Jordan B Peterson flagged the tweet by asking “How could this possibly go wrong?”

Last Saturday’s anti-lockdown protest in Peterborough, Ont., featured People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier and Ontario MPP Randy Hillier as keynote speakers. But the event actually got off to a rollicking start the day before. That’s because Peterborough Mayor Diane Therrien was clearly not thrilled that certain politicians were coming to her municipality to do such egregious things as, oh, practice freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Shockers!

So it was that this woke-joke of a mayor actually tweeted the following:

“Hey @randyhillier @MaximeBernier I know you boys are bored but,” the mayor tweeted, along with a photo of herself with a written quote in a bubble saying “Stay TF home.”

(In terms of “TF,” we assume the T is “the” and the F is a four-letter word that rhymes with “duck.”)

The great orator also tweeted: “The travelling clown convention isn’t welcome here. @randyhillier @MaximeBernier.”

Well, it appears the potty-mouth politician didn’t succeed in scaring anyone away. Some 1,200 people assembled at Confederation Square, home of Peterborough’s cenotaph. (Though we wonder if Her Worship believes that those Canadians who fought for our rights in so many wars overseas were a bunch of clowns, too…?)

It was a joyous occasion until Bernier and Hillier left the podium. That’s because both were promptly intercepted by members of the Peterborough Police Service and given tickets for the egregious crime… of speaking in a public park?

This was certainly déjà vu all over again for Hillier.

Recently, Belleville police Chief Mike Callaghan also embraced the spirit of heavy-handed law enforcement as he announced that Hillier was under investigation for engaging in constitutionally protected political protests.

In any event, the mood in the park turned livid, as Peterborough cops endured a deluge of expletives and middle fingers as they handed out tickets.

It makes one ponder: who were the real clowns that day?

People embracing such constitutional rights as freedom of mobility, association, speech and assembly (all of which are increasingly under the gun these days)? Or was it Mayor Therrien and the Peterborough cops who, by their words and actions, resembled so many Ronald McDonalds and Pennywises that day?

This escalating conflict culminated in a fiasco over Easter weekend, when armed officers and Alberta Health Services officials attempted to interrupt ongoing worship services where Art was presiding. The incident was a major embarrassment for the authorities, and many hoped that it might dissuade further harassment, but this has not been the case. Ambrose University’s student union is reversing course after it accused a black Conservative speaker of causing “severe harm” to students after he gave a speech in February critical of anti-racism narratives.

According to the National Post, the Calgary-based university’s student council rescinded an apology on Thursday for inviting the said speaker Samuel Sey.

Originally, the council claimed that they had “invited speakers to come and speak to our student body who have caused harm and offence with the words that they have spoken.”

Sey, who is a pro-life activist at the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform and blogger, was invited to speak at the university on February 4, 2021 for a Black History Month event.

“As a Christian, what I was saying should not be controversial to them at all, but because they disagree with what the Bible says on racism, it becomes offensive to them,” Sey told the National Post.

“They are essentially, by attacking me, attacking the Bible; I didn’t go there to share my opinion, I was going there to explain what the Bible says about racism.”

An updated apology on Ambrose University’s website clarifies the council’s position claiming that the post was never meant to be public and was only supposed to be seen by the students allegedly impacted by the event.

“In accordance with our Freedom of Expression Statement, Ambrose will acknowledge diverse opinions and encourage our students to engage thoughtfully and graciously with those who differ with them; at the same time, Ambrose will cultivate an environment of charity and civility, supporting our students as they learn to navigate polarizing topics,” the post claims.

“We have removed the statement/apology from Student Council and Student Life which appeared on this page. It was never intended to be public and sought only to provide support for those students who had been emotionally affected. Further, it didn’t include consideration of Ambrose’s commitment to freedom of expression, which is a vital part of our community experience.”

According to Sey, during the event he gave students the opportunity to criticize his views and engage in discussion.

“I don’t want anyone to be afraid to challenge me because of my skin colour. My skin colour does not define truth. As Christians, the Bible is supposed to define what’s true,” Sey told the National Post.

Government councils in the UK are hiring COVID Marshals to patrol streets from July until the end of 2023, despite the fact that all lockdown restrictions are supposed to end in June

“A new army of Covid Marshals is being recruited for roles that could last until 2023 despite Government plans to lift all remaining restrictions on June 21,” reports the Telegraph.

“Councils around the country are advertising jobs that do not begin until July – several days after the supposed freedom day.”

One example is Hertfordshire County Council, which is “offering a contract of up to £3 million to firms that can supply 60 marshals from July 1 until January 31 next year.”

“The contract comes with a possible one-year extension, meaning marshals would still be patrolling until 2023,” states the report.

The Marshals will be tasked with ensuring “compliance” and helping the public understand “regulations and guidance,” despite the fact that all regulations are supposed to be terminated in 8 weeks time.

“We know that the virus is still circulating and will be for some time. We know from last year that numbers of infections can change rapidly, and Government are very clear that we should plan in case a third wave arises. It would be a dereliction of duty not to prepare for a third wave,” said Jim McManus, director of public health for Hertfordshire County Council.

Critics have accused the government of wasting taxpayer money by allowing councils to use government grants to fund the program.

“To start hiring people based on the situation we faced last year, before we had rolled out the vaccines, does seem to be a waste of public money,” said Mark Harper MP, Tory chairman of the Covid Recovery Group.

The fact that COVID Marshals will be patrolling the streets beyond June once again illustrates how the timetable to lift restrictions is completely phony.

After he was hired by Canadian Natural Resources in Northern Alberta, Corey Hagopian was deceived, tested and quarantined in depraved conditions, against his will.

I had the pleasure of speaking with a wonderful young man last Sunday.

Corey Hagopian and his girlfriend sold everything they owned in Ontario for the promise of a better future in Alberta.

What he encountered at on a job site in Northern Alberta was nothing short of a nightmare. Trained in electronics engineering as a technician with a specialty in non-destructive testing and ultrasonics, he was hired to work at a Canadian National Resources (CNQ) site in Northern Alberta.

He was told he would be working 40 minutes from Edmonton; they failed to mention that was by plane. When Corey found out he would be flying into camp he asked about being Covid tested. He was told no he wouldn’t be tested; that they could not force him to be tested.

He got on the plane and at the other end of the ride, he was told to line up for a test. He managed to avoid being tested then but they came looking for him the next morning demanding he be tested.

He managed to escape that test to get into the field to work but that evening his trainer insisted he needed to be tested. Corey responded by repeating that he was told he wouldn’t be forced to test.

The trainer said that he couldn’t force Corey to test but they could force him off the site if he refused. Corey thought about it and decided that if he was going to be forced to test then he didn’t want to work there.

He was told he couldn’t get off the property by bus, car, or plane without being tested. He was trapped. He agreed to the first test; he spoke to the nurses explaining he had a sinus issue and to please be careful. The nurse was anything but careful, the next morning when he bent to tie his shoes his nose began to bleed and proceeded to ooze blood for the next few days.

Although he was upset and angry about the violation of his person and his personal rights it appeared to be a one-time thing and he could get his months shift in and go home.

Before the first week was out the one-time test turned to every 72 hours; then every 48 hours, then by the end of the week it was everyday.

Not agreeing with their protocols, he said once he was paid for the first week he was leaving. That first weeks pay was withheld. He continued to put up with procedures trying to get to the next payday so he could leave.

On the 11th day in camp being tested everyday, he was told he had a positive result. When he asked to see the results, he was denied.

He was ordered to pack his things he was being moved to an isolation unit.

30-Year-Old Man Hospitalized With Blood Clots After J&J Vaccine

In what is believed to be the first reported case of its kind in a male, a 30-year-old Bay Area man is being treated for a blood clot disorder he developed after receiving the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID vaccine, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The man was vaccinated April 8, and a week later experienced increasing lower back and leg pain. He was hospitalized at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) medical center where he received treatment “which includes intravenous immune globulin, the anticoagulant argatroban and prednisone,” UCSF spokeswoman Suzanne Leigh said in a statement Monday.

Doctors at UCSF said the man is being treated for vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) and that he is responding well to treatment and should be released soon.

VITT is characterized by the presence of two conditions concurrently: thrombosis (often in unusual sites like the cerebral sinus veins or splanchnic veins) and thrombocytopenia, and is associated with prior administration of the J&J or AstraZeneca COVID vaccines.

“To the best of our knowledge, this is the first male patient with VITT syndrome in the U.S. following the Emergency Use Authorization of the J&J vaccine on Feb. 27, 2021,” Leigh said.

Dr. Monica Gandhi, associate division chief and professor of medicine at UCSF said, “This particular person had a more mild clot, and one in the leg. But certainly it’s a real clot, and he’s in his early 30’s, so likely could be linked to the vaccine.”

A Tennessee woman is attributing severe side effects that paralyzed her from the neck down to a second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Nashville resident Brandy McFadden took her second Pfizer jab on April 16.

Within one day McFadden says she went from “not feeling great” to “screaming in pain at the top of my lungs.”

Brandy says the issue started with a weird sensation in her legs, “Then it turned into a horrible neck pain, and it just kept getting worse and worse.”

Her husband rushed her to an emergency room where doctors were unable to diagnose the issue.

“I woke up. I can’t move my arms. I can’t move my legs. So, he’s freaking out. The doctors are panicking,” Brandy described.

“As far as to answers as to why this happened, they don’t know,” McFadden explains.

Brandy’s husband James recalled, “I’m holding her hand, and her hand is limp throughout the whole thing while she’s screaming in pain…And all the test results are coming back negative.”

The mother of three blames the jab for leaving her hospitalized and unable to walk.

“I thought maybe if anything I’d probably get like flu-like symptoms because I’d already had Covid, but I never in a million years thought I’d never be able to get up and go to the bathroom, or get up and walk to the other side of the room, or stand up and hug my kids.”

Chinese firms received government contracts valued at $6 million last year according to information obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

In data tabled in the House of Commons, the government reveals the value of contracts awarded to Chinese firms stood at $5.8 million, with another $2.3 million going to direct foreign aid to China.

“The Liberal government’s business-as-usual approach to the People’s Republic of China should come to an end particularly with Canadians held hostage,” said Conservative MP John Williamson, who requested the data be tabled.

Canada-China relations have sharply declined since Canadian police arrested Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou on a U.S. warrant in 2019. China countered by arresting two Canadian citizens and banning certain Canadian products.

In the past year, China has also begun escalating tensions with Canadian allies like Australia and Taiwan.

Owner of Coal Trail Motocross Park, Emily Klassen, has had it with the pandemic lockdown on amateur sports — so her outdoor motorbike facility near Hardisty, Alberta, is now open for “practice.”

Over the weekend, Coal Trail MX hosted a training event with over 300 entries in several different races — except, we can’t actually call the events races. Races are verboten. Keeping track of winners and losers violates the pandemic limits placed on minor sports, including motocross.

Under current COVID restrictions, the Alberta government only permits lessons, practices and physical conditioning activities for indoor and outdoor minor sports/activities and school athletics — for example, school sports outside of physical education classes or a related part of the school curriculum.

Competition is strictly outlawed! However, there is no official direction around the distribution of participation ribbons.

I’ve tried following the science, but I still can’t figure out how giving first, second and third place medals to kids (who are adorned in full MX gear, including helmets, gloves, goggles, boots and chest protectors) somehow makes COVID more contagious. I also asked the parents and participants at Coal Trail MX if they knew the answer to that mystery. No one did.

Alberta Health Services and the RCMP showed up to Coal Trail MX just before I arrived early Saturday to try to lay down that weird “no winners/just losers” law with Emily. However, she refused to be bullied and went ahead with her “practices,” after kicking the authorities off her property and telling them to “come back with a warrant.”

Canadian military confirms SIX joint training missions with Chinese army in past four years

The Canadian military now confirms it has participated in six joint training missions with the Chinese army in the past four years. The new information comes from a recently tabled order paper response in the House of Commons. The number of training events reported in the response differs vastly from previous Rebel News reports.

34 pages of secret military documents, previously obtained by Rebel News and available at www.TheChinaFiles.com, detailed how the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) had been training with China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA).Those documents showed that Trudeau conducted 18 different military projects with China in 2019 alone.

In his order paper question, James Bezan, the Conservative critic for national defence asked the ministry:

“With regard to Canada-Chinese military cooperation, since January 1, 2017, how many joint exercises or training activities have occurred involving the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of the People’s Republic of China”?

The response, tabled today from the defence ministry, admits there have been a half a dozen training events over the past four years with the PLA.

“National Defence conducted a search of its records for the period of January 1, 2017, to March 10, 2021, and found six bilateral military training exercises or workshops conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces or the People’s Liberation Army."

The information in the order paper response now puts into dispute previous statements made by the Canadian Armed Forces to the Toronto Sun, that such bilateral exercises were for observation only:

“We do not train with the PLA,” a DND spokesperson told the Toronto Sun. “However, based on an agreement signed in 2013, there has been the occasional, reciprocal granting of observer-status for non-sensitive activities, including winter survival exercises.”

Montreal police target peaceful Jewish neighbourhood

After a couple of days of calm in the Outremont neighbourhood of Montreal, the police started ramping up their presence to enforce the curfew and hand out tickets.

From what I saw, the police appeared to be targeting visibly Jewish people, asking them for their papers to be out after the provincial government imposed a curfew that it says is meant to flatten the curve of COVID-19.

Quebec’s curfew was implemented back in January for four weeks, but using the same rationale as "two weeks to flatten the curve," it has been extended to who knows when.

But he says that the police harassment has continued and has gotten even more aggressive recently.

“I've spoken to them every time, this time I didn't open the door,” Zahabi explains. “They put tape over the peep-hole… they started sliding things under the door… it really feels like harassment and a waste of police resources,” he concluded.

Zahabi has been hard at work trying to spread a message of health and wants to unite gyms primarily in Quebec, but also across Canada, under the phrase “Fitness is Your Right!”

Conservative MP’s bill hopes to protect vulnerable rural residents from crime

Conservative MP Blaine Calkins (Red Deer – Lacombe) recently introduced a bill in the House of Commons which he hopes will alter the Criminal Code so that Canadians will be better protected from rural crime.

Bill C-289 seeks to add as an aggravating circumstance evidence that a crime was directed at somebody who was “vulnerable because of their remoteness from emergency services and, for the purposes of some offences, the fact that a person carried, used or threatened to use a weapon or an imitation of a weapon.”

According to official Statistics Canada data, Canadians living in rural areas are susceptible to higher rates of certain kinds of crimes including property and vehicle theft.

“Rural Canadians too often don’t feel safe in their own homes. Many have been victimized so often they’ve given up reporting property crime. It is often difficult for people to get affordable insurance if they can get it at all,” said Calkins in the House of Commons.

“My constituents are tired of being victims, they’re tired of the revolving door of the justice system, and of crime not being taken seriously. They are losing faith in the justice system, because too often it puts criminals before victims and their families.”

The law also hopes to add additional consideration to the reasons a criminal was detained prior to giving them credit for time served during sentencing.

Since policing in rural communities is predominantly under the purview of provincial governments, several provinces have taken similar steps to address the matter within their own jurisdictions.

Recently, Alberta’s Minister of Justice Kaycee Madu announced new changes that would allow provincial fish and wildlife officers to respond to RCMP calls in rural areas.

The program was introduced as part of the Rural Alberta Provincial Integrated Defence Response (RAPID) with the intention of dealing with the issue of slow police response times in remote communities.

“Rural Albertans told us loud and clear that it can take too long for help to arrive in their communities. With RAPID Response, highly trained and professional peace officers will work across rural Alberta to answer the call when police need help,” said Madu.

The new initiative hopes to add an additional 140 officers to the task force.

The City of Toronto is hiring six museum coordinators to “decolonize” the city’s museums so that they are more inclusive to all.

According to the job description posted on the city’s employment website, applicants must be committed to “inclusive practices” and be on board with the city’s decolonization program.

“Are you a cultural sector professional who enjoys working collaboratively with diverse communities? Do you like to find new ways to connect people, communities and culture, ensuring vibrant and inclusive museums that are accessible to all? At the City of Toronto, Museum Coordinators support museum operations, staff, and the public to ensure the success of the City’s network of municipal museums,” the job advertisement reads.

“If you are committed to inclusive practices, this will be an exciting opportunity for you to join the Toronto History Museums’ team as we embark on an ambitious and intentional change journey to decolonize the City’s museums and create community spaces that are inclusive to all.”

Successful applicants can expect to receive an hourly rate of anywhere between $43.97 to $48.20 an hour and work 35 hours a week from Monday to Friday.

The ad also includes the condition that applicants should have “lived experience as a member of an equity-seeking community” as an asset.

In recent years, Toronto has pursued several decolonization and anti-racism policies.

Following the widespread protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd, Toronto Mayor John Tory declared in June 2020 that the City of Toronto was systemically racist.

“Here in Toronto and around the world, people have been raising their voices and calling for an end to racism generally, to anti-Indigenous and anti-Black racism, and to racism against marginalized communities,” Tory said at the time.

“As Mayor, I acknowledge that, despite our city being one of the world’s most diverse, systemic racism continues to be a real issue here in Toronto and there is much more all of us can do to confront it and to eliminate it.”

Toronto is also currently undergoing a review of the city’s “problematic” street names, including the city’s historic Dundas St. According to a report submitted to the city’s Executive Committee in September 2020, renaming Dundas St. and its associated locations could cost taxpayers a whopping $3.02 million.

(Natural News) Reports are coming out to show that some of the electrical components being used in 5G tower installations bear the marking of “COV-19,” which just so happens to be almost identical to COVID-19, the name used for the infection supposedly caused by the Wuhan coronavirus.

The “Patriot Street Fighter” account on Telegram is one of the latest to share video footage of the components, which can clearly be seen with the marking of COV-19 on their chipsets.

5G component installers all around the world have reported similar markings on the equipment going into their towers, which shows that the phenomenon is strangely widespread and clearly not coincidental.

As you may recall from early on in the plandemic, reports emerged about how Wuhan, China, where it all originated, had just turned on its 5G towers at almost the exact same time that area residents started to get sick. Some of them got so sick that they dropped dead in the streets, or so we were told.

Donald Trump fast-tracked the rollout of 5G here in the United States not long after that, and here we are a year later with many who are sick and dying, purportedly from the “virus.”

Throughout the past year while tens of millions of Americans were on lockdown, telecommunications carriers were busy installing 5G chipsets in towers all across the land, including at schools where developing children spend all day in the classroom.

Meanwhile, its possible the parents of these children are unaware of these facts.

Michelle Lynam is the current Dr. United States of America, an anesthesiologist in Midlothian, Virginia. She posts videos on Facebook sneaking over experimental shots. She is also subjecting her children to these experimental shots.

Lynam registered her two teenage daughters for clinical trials of Pfizer. She enrolled her six year old daughter for clinical trial of Moderna.

Clinical Research Partners in Richmond, Virginia is facilitating the guinea pig trial of children by Moderna in the state.

There is very low possibility that people would know about any negative results of these trials. However, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) provide an insight on the effects of the experimental mRNA shots on these children.

A two-year-old girl received her second (Dose 2) experimental Pfizer mRNA shot on February 25. She apparently developed some sort of serious adverse reaction on March 1. The baby was dead on March 3. No further details were provided.

The mainstream media is silent on this issue, so is the CDC. The incident should be investigated by CDC immediately.

The baby had been hospitalized for 17 days, or since February 14, according to VAERS. Thus the baby was perhaps sick from the first shot. But someone administered the second shot anyway.

Further, no experimental shots are authorized for use in babies and children under age 16 in the United States.

Even, their own promotion says the vaccination trials were for children from age 5 to 11. So, how come a 2 year old baby got vaccinated?

The government has been too afraid to actually follow through on fighting any of these tickets in court, for fear of the obvious – that they will be ruled unconstitutional. Therefore, I will appeal this ticket without any expectation of actually being convicted. Risch is a professor of epidemiology at Yale University. Tenenbaum is a periodontist based at the University of Toronto with a PhD in cell biology. Alexander has a degree in epidemiology and a degree in health research methodologies from McMaster University and has worked in the Health and Human Services Department under the Trump administration.

He said while lockdowns can reduce the numbers of COVID-infected patients, they only have a fighting chance when you can move every infected person out of a population.

Once the lockdown ends, there are people waiting to be infected, he noted.

“Once an epidemic has spread widely in a population or around the world, there’s no chance you can eradicate the virus completely,” Risch said, adding that putting travellers in quarantine for 14 days is also a waste of time.

“We were seeing 300% increase in reported self-harms among kids in primary and elementary school,” said the McMaster University assistant professor.

“We were also seeing data that business owners were hanging themselves across America … the collateral damage was far worse than COVID.”

Alexander told the Sun that there is “no credible” basis for the lockdowns currently happening in Ontario but that there is evidence that the measures are causing more harm than good.

“We were seeing 300% increase in reported self-harms among kids in primary and elementary school,” he said.

“We were also seeing data that business owners were hanging themselves across America … the collateral damage was far worse than COVID,” he added.

The Ford government imposed its strictest lockdown measures a week and a half ago that are to last until May 20. Ontarians are to stay at home unless they need to go out for food or other necessary errands. Police have been empowered to stop people to ask their reason for leaving home.

April 29, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government is “right now” working on “certificates of vaccination” for travel with its allies, saying they are to be “expected.”

“Obviously, as was the case pre-pandemic, certificates of vaccination are a part of international travel to certain regions and are naturally to be expected when it comes to this pandemic and the coronavirus,” said Trudeau at a news conference (at roughly 43 minutes) held this past Tuesday.

“How we actually roll that out in alignment with partners and allies around the world is something that we’re working on right now to coordinate. I can assure you that our decisions will be based on science and the fact that those discussions are ongoing right now means that we will be aligned with our partners around the world.”

Freedom rights groups are blasting the idea of so-called “vaccine passports” as bad news for Canadians’ freedoms.

Jay Cameron, a lawyer with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), told LifeSiteNews that any introduction of a “vaccine passport” in Canada would violate one’s rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

“Under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canadians have a fundamental right to make decisions regarding their own bodies. The Charter also protects the fundamental freedoms of conscience and religion, and a Charter right to enter and leave their own country freely. COVID vaccine passports would violate all of these Charter protections,” said Cameron.

Trudeau said his government is looking “very carefully at this issue” and will “continue to plan for how we reopen the economy, how we reopen our borders, how we get back to normal, which is something that all Canadians want to do.”

Trudeau’s latest remarks are perhaps the clearest yet that his government is seriously considering implementing some form of a “vaccine passport” for Canadians.

Cameron told LifeSiteNews that limiting travel based solely on one receiving a “rushed into production” COVID “vaccine” is concerning given possible injection side-effects.

“COVID vaccines were rushed into production and are experimental. Given that the long-term side effects are unknown, and that there are growing reports of injury and deaths linked to the shots, including blood clots, neurological damage, stroke, heart attacks, and paralysis, and given that many countries have paused or ceased using certain COVID vaccines as a result, only a tyrannical government would attempt to make travel contingent on receiving an experimental COVID vaccine,” said Cameron.

“Further, it must not be forgotten that the government’s own data and statistics tell us that COVID is not the unusually deadly killer that it was made out to be in March 2020, when people were worried about this being like the Spanish Flu of 1918.”

To date, Health Canada has authorized four COVID-19 injections for adults, all with connections to abortion. All of them are possibly cause of severe side-effects such as blood clots, severe rashes, miscarriages, or even heart attacks in young healthy men.

In Canada, vaccines are not mandatory at the federal level, as each province is responsible for their healthcare delivery. At the provincial level, some provinces — such as Ontario and New Brunswick — have made certain vaccines mandatory via legislation, with a few exceptions, for children to attend public schools.

The idea of a so called “vaccine passport” has been blasted by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA). The group said it has “flashed red and yellow lights at any effort by a Canadian government to mandate public disclosure of private health care information.”

“Allowing private entities to collect and use personal health information about us is invasive. Tying the ability to participate in public life with a ubiquitous or persistent form of surveillance (“show us proof you have made a socially acceptable choice about your health”) is a diminishment of the level of freedom we expect in a democracy,” wrote the CCLA.
