I dunno about "lazy", after all, the destruction of the purchasing power of the dollar and the real rate of inflation, most jobs pay barely enough to survive with dignity as it is. So, your choice is work for idiots who deny basic dignity and respect of their once-easily-replaceable employees who, without a %10 annual REAL inflation adjustment raise, are bringing home less purchasing power, or preserve dignity and have more free time with a comparatively slight reduction in wages. I don't think its lazy, it actually makes perfect sense. If corporations had been hiring smarter managers and treating employees with greater dignity and respect, and actually increasing wages accordingly, they probably would have more employees at this very minute, even with a generous unemployment alternative.
