The Department of Justice's decision to let a bunch of Portland rioters off with a mere slap on the wrist may make the blatant political persecution of Capitol protesters more difficult, according to a report from Politico released Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors' show of leniency for some defendants charged in the long-running unrest in the streets of Portland could have an impact on similar criminal cases stemming from the Capitol riot, lawyers say.

In recent weeks, prosecutors have approved deals in at least half a dozen federal felony cases arising from clashes between protesters and law enforcement in Oregon last summer. The arrangements — known as deferred resolution agreements — will leave the defendants with a clean criminal record if they stay out of trouble for a period of time and complete a modest amount of community service, according to defense attorneys and court records.

Some lawyers attribute the government's newfound willingness to resolve the Portland protest cases without criminal convictions to the arrival of President Joe Biden's administration in January and to policy and personnel changes at the Justice Department.

Remember folks, as Biden-appointed DOJ head Merrick Garland said during his confirmation hearing in February, the Portland riots were no big deal because they happened at night!

Just Make It Illegal to Arrest Blacks: to Honor the Memory of George Floyd, Social Justice Advocates Urge Big Box Retailers to Re-Think Calls to Police Over Shoplifting and “Low-Level” Crimes

In honor of the memory of George Floyd, those peddling social justice reform are advocating nonviolent criminal acts such as shoplifting from big box stores should no longer be a criminal offense. George Floyd died in police custody after a corner store clerk reported he had used a fake $20 bill, a nonviolent offense so low-level that police don’t usually take people to jail for it.

Now, as the trial over his death continues to unfold, criminal justice reform experts and diversity specialists are hoping the case will prompt retailers — from small businesses to major chains — to reassess how they treat Black and other minority customers and how they can handle loss prevention cases more equitably.

“While interactions with the police can be fairly infrequent, everyone shops,” said Cassi Pitt­man Claytor, a sociology professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, who has studied racial profiling in retail settings. “When [Black people] are asked about the contexts where they are treated unfairly due to their race … shopping in a store ranks above all other settings, including interactions with the police.”

Since Floyd’s death last May, many retailers have made public promises committing to racial equity. Several companies, including Twin Cities-based Target and Best Buy, have shared their plans to diversify hiring and made financial contributions to Black-owned businesses and organizations focused on fighting inequality.

But some criminal justice reform advocates say retailers need to do more to create and enforce policies to address how racial bias negatively impacts customers.

“I don’t think that they really have dealt with and have been honest about dealing with it,” said Jesse Ross, a local diversity and inclusion consultant who has worked with a range of retailers. “It’s ‘Oh we’re going to put out money,’ and ‘Oh, we’re going to give a couple bonuses’ and all of these things, but we are not addressing the very grassroots-level issues that could probably prevent so many other things like a George Floyd from happening.”

Ross, who is Black, said he has been racially profiled in stores, and he doesn’t think many retailers have transparent complaint processes where they evaluate and respond to reports of customer mistreatment.

“Certainly in loss prevention, there are certain behaviors that look sketchy that you are supposed to look out for or pay attention to, but then there’s also that profiling that we know happens,” Ross said.

In response to community outcry following Floyd’s death, the owner of the Cup Foods store said they would no longer contact police in cases of nonviolent crime, as they did for Floyd’s suspected counterfeit bill.

Ex-Catholic Priest Charged With Sexually Assaulting Multiple Children Dating Back 2 Decades

CALIFORNIA – (LA DA) – A former Catholic priest has been charged with sexually assaulting four boys at two different parishes dating back more than two decades.

“The victims were innocent children who have spent most of their lives with the trauma caused by the abuse alleged in this case,” District Attorney George Gascón said. “My office is committed to holding accountable anyone who abuses and takes advantage of our children, especially when they hold a position of trust.”

Christopher John Cunningham was charged with 12 felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14.

While working as an associate pastor at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmdale, the defendant is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy on two occasions between November 1995 and September 1997. Cunningham also allegedly sexually assaulted a boy at the victim’s home sometime between June 1996 and June 1998.

Cunningham also worked at Saint Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Redondo Beach. While there, he is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old on two occasions between July 1998 and January 2001. During that same time frame, the defendant allegedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy on multiple occasions.

The case remains under investigation by the Special Victims Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. If anyone has additional information or was a victim, please call the bureau at (562) 946-8531.

Globalists Will Need Another Crisis In America As Their Reset Agenda Fails

It might sound like “US exceptionalism” to point this out (…and how very dare I), but even if the globalist Reset is successful in every other nation on Earth, the globalists are still failures if they can’t secure and subjugate the American people. As I’ve noted many times in the past, most of the world has been sufficiently disarmed, and even though we are seeing resistance in multiple European nations against forced vaccination legislation and medical tyranny, it is unlikely that they will have the ability to actually repel a full on march into totalitarianism. Most of Asia, India and Australia are already well under control. Africa is almost an afterthought , considering Africa is where many suspect vaccines are tested.

America represents the only significant obstacle to the agenda.

Conservative Americans in particular have been a thorn in the side of the globalists for generations, and it really comes down to a simple matter of mutual exclusion: You cannot have an openly globalist society and conservative ideals at the same time in the same place. It is impossible.

Conservatives believe in limited government, true free markets, individual liberty, the value of life, freedom of speech, private property rights, the right to self defense, the right to self determination, freedom of religion, and the non-aggression principle (we won’t harm you unless you try to harm us). None of these ideals can exist in a globalist world because globalism is at it’s core is the pursuit of a fully centralized tyranny.

There are people on this planet that are not satisfied to merely live their lives, take care of their families and make their mark peacefully. They crave power over all else. They desperately want control over you, over me, over everything, and they will use any means at their disposal to get it. I would compare it to a kind of drug addiction; globalists are like crack addicts, they can never get enough power, there is always something more to take.

They tell themselves and others that they are “philanthropists”, that “they know what is best” for the rest of us. They believe themselves superior and therefore it is their “destiny” to dictate and micro-manage society for the “greater good” of us all. But really, when we witness their methods it becomes clear that they have no noble aspirations. They have no empathy or honor. They don’t care about the average human being, or the environment, or the economy or society in general. They only care about themselves and their delusions of grandeur. These people are a cancer on the rest of civilization.

They seem to be particularly obsessed with deconstructing and sabotaging America in the pursuit of their global Reset. Real philanthropists would not have a problem if someone didn’t want to accept their “charity”, but psychopaths cannot abide a group of people rejecting them and their ideology. You are not allowed to walk away from them. You are not allowed to do things your own way. You must be forced to comply. The agenda only works if EVERYONE submits.

Unfortunately for the globalists, the Reset is not working out for them everywhere. In the US, the agenda is failing miserably compared to Asia and parts of Europe.

As the head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, is so fond of reminding us, the Covid pandemic is the “perfect opportunity” to push forward the globalist plans for a total Reset of human economy and society. Romania Approves Bill to Bar China, Huawei From 5G Networks

BUCHAREST—Romania’s centrist government on Thursday approved a U.S.-backed bill that effectively bars China and Huawei from taking part in development of its 5G network, a member of the IT&C and National Security Committee told Reuters.

Europe has emerged as a battleground in the technology “Cold War” playing out between the Chinese regime and Washington and Huawei’s European competitors, Ericsson and Nokia, could become a supplier duopoly should the Chinese company be shut out.

“The government just approved this bill of paramount importance for Romania, sealing a 2019 memorandum signed in Washington, meaning that China and Huawei are ruled out from any would-be partnership on 5G with the Romanian state,” Pavel Popescu said.

According to the memorandum between Romania and the Chinese regime in August 2019: “as part of risk-based security approach, careful and complete evaluation of 5G vendors is necessary.”

Romania was a staunch Washington ally even before it joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in 2004. Washington sees Huawei as an arm of China’s Communist Party’s global surveillance machinery.

Huawei, which is playing a leading role as the telecoms world gears up for next generation wireless technology, has repeatedly denied spying for the Chinese state.

The bill approved on Thursday reflects the U.S. memorandum, and Romania’s Supreme Defense Council stance. Popescu said: “National security is a key goal, and protecting Romania’s future generations’ personal data is crucial.”

It says a vendor’s evaluation should say whether a company is subject to control by a foreign government, has a transparent ownership structure, and is subject to a legal regime that enforces transparent corporate practices.

Popescu said the bill, which could be rubber-stamped in parliament in the next weeks, is a prerequisite to launching 5G tenders in the Black Sea state in second half of the year.

Earlier, the Fox News host questioned the safety of coronavirus vaccines in a monologue that went viral on social media

Chelsea Clinton wants Facebook to ban Fox News host Tucker Carlson from its website after a clip from Carlson's program casting doubt on the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines went viral this week.

Clinton on Wednesday tweeted a screenshot of a Facebook post featuring Carlson's controversial monologue from Tuesday night, during which he suggested that the vaccine doesn't work and that the federal government is hiding that from the American people.

According to CrowdTangle, a tool that keeps track of social media analytics, Carlson's monologue had become the most popular post on Facebook by Wednesday.

"In December, @facebook banned claims about #covid19 vaccines 'that have been debunked by public health experts.'" Clinton tweeted, noting that despite Facebook's ban Carlson's segment was still gaining traction on its platform.

"Especially troubling given Republican men are currently most likely to say they're not interested in being vaccinated," said Clinton, the daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Carlson's comments came after the federal government called for an immediate pause on the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine Tuesday following six reported cases of a "rare and severe type of blood clot in individuals after receiving the vaccine."

During his Tuesday evening monologue, Carlson questioned recommendations from top White House health adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on mask-wearing and social distancing for people who have already received the vaccine.

"If the vaccine is effective, there is no reason for people who have received the vaccine to wear masks or avoid physical contact," he said.

"Maybe it doesn't work and they're simply not telling you that," he added. "Well you hate to think that, especially if you've gotten two shots. But what's the other potential explanation? We can't think of one."

Fauci responded the next day, accusing Carlson of promoting a conspiracy theory and saying his remarks "were counter to what we're trying to accomplish to protect the safety and the health of the American public."
