Criminality on the loose, be it in a back ally or a government building, is something society at large is dealing with right now. Self deluded belief that a badge contains magical powers deserving of absolute compliance, really is a part of the same problem. This anon IS a fan of law and order, however when Police and even large portions of the public falsely believe Compliance and Obedience is all that is needed…

Can you not see We might be heading down a path of simple and ironic societal collapse with such a prevalent shortsighted Back The Blue (no matter what) attitude?

How many police genuinely feel that Joe is the legitimate President deserving of respect?

How many Police go along with the ScamDemic pronouncements of Covid, shutting down the economy, masks and injections of swamp juice?

How many police do not question the edicts of their local higher officials holding office under highly questionable election irregularities?

The answer to all of those questions is NOT NEAR ENOUGH question the very circumstances under which they wear a badge and carry a gun while being overly proud of their “service” and told too often they are heroic and honorable.

Police COULD be a part of the solution, but that will require them to question which Laws (and Constitution) they truly wish to uphold. Starting with the gross OVER REACHING of government itself would be their best place to start.

So long as Law Enforcement focuses on back alleys and ‘papers please’ instead of seditious and treasonous government activity… this situation will only deteriorate until the Police have no more tax review or public to underwrite the Safty Protectionism.

Ironic

It is this anon’s experience gently interviewing many Police, that MOST of them today are either grossly misinformed about their occupation, if not actually trained to view the Constitution as oppositional. As the occupation has disproportionately attracted ‘order followers’, they likewise project upon others that We too ‘just’ need to follow their orders, commands and be compliant. Any deviation is too often proof in their narrow[ing] mind, that they are dealing with a Law Breaker… and thus whatever force is needed is thus justified.

That alone is profoundly dangerous to the very society they ostensibly ‘Serve’. Most ‘service’ personnel I challenge with this, are almost universally ‘offended’ by the simple concept when even presented in hypothetical terms and gentlemanly questioning form.

We are in a very tight spot. I do wish for police to be honorable, however very very few understand the fundamental social contract.
