Portland police report officer involved shooting at Lents Park in Portland
The Portland Police Bureau said just after 10 a.m. Friday that at least one of its officers had been involved in a Southeast Portland shooting.
Police closed streets around Southeast 92nd Avenue and Holgate Street, where the shooting reportedly occurred. The police bureau did not offer any other initial details.
The location of the shooting is inside an area serviced by Portland Street Response, a recently launched non-police unit that assists people who are experiencing homelessness or mental health crises.
