Not sure who would trust Walz, but my guess is the the suburban women are starting to turn on him and he needs to keep the riots from affecting his a vital pole in his big tent. He is up for re election next year and the urban core is probably not enough to keep him in office. Women who consider themselves centrist are fickle when while they are happy to push and eat up Diversity Equity and Inclusion bs at work, when the fallout gets close to their backyard, they are quick to run to authorities to protect themselves.

On the other hand, the urban core woke pole of Walz tent is is going to be hopping mad about the NG suppressing riots. They probably will vote for him either way, and the vote rigging could be used to bolster an unenthusiastic turn out, but the fact that the urban center has become a war zone under his watch is not going to help his argument that he has done anything to fix the problems they are so desperate to fix. Appointing BIPOCs to heads of most departments should have resulted in some measurable gains for their woke communities, but instead poverty and chaos abounds.

The Boer War is a cautionary tale of when a well armed populous decides to defend itself. The tactics needed to take on the rest of the world require more than an independent minded, well armed, adaptable force. The British won that war because they had unlimited resources to throw at it and a willingness to take massive casualties and financial loses. As with any conflict that devolves into guerilla fighting, the victor never wins an outright victory, they overwhelm the residents to the point that a negotiated settlement is reached and then assimilate the society to the point that what was being fought over in the first place is utterly lost. I do not underestimate the American spirit when it is aroused, but neither do I underestimate the almost limitless resources of the group who has captured the minds and political institutions of almost all of the rest of the planet.

But that straight line is working in major parts of the world and the US. Yes it is taking body blows, but it is far from collapse at this point.

The biggest weakness of patriots is that they only really care about securing their home. The forces of global empire and domination can be defeated by one group of patriots, retreat to other strongholds, and work on weakening the group they just lost to from within. Patriots want to get on with living and in the case of the US 200 years later are incredibly divided internally, weakened to the point that they have to talk about guerrilla warfare to save their country. All is not lost, but underestimating the group that you say does not have a plan B is foolhardy. Losses like Trump winning, are setbacks, but the panic among the ranks of the global order perceived by patriots is overhyped given the real world gains they globalist have made since Trump won and then lost.

Patriots put a lot of stock in the rule of law. Globalist tout the rule of law when it is convenient, but gleefully switch to emotional arguments whenever the mass consciousness can be manipulated into an advantageous path forward. They have their own kind of guerilla warfare they employ.

Does not change the fact that those famers were armed to the teeth, were fiercely independent, and had 30% of the worlds gold production under their control at the start of that conflict. In the end, they fought for the British for a hundred years after being defeated (and then abandoned) by them.

And the Israelite army was defeated how many times? Unless you are suggesting that Patriots are a race/culture/religion that will hold together after being defeated multiple times over thousands of years, I am not sure I see how the analogy is comforting.

But by that rationalization, according to the book being used to understand God's will , God only chose the Israelites, not the US patriots, who on average could hardly be said to be following God's lead per the guidelines set out in the part of the bible that talks about God leading his people to victory. The New Testament could be considered a different story, but that part never talks about wining in the physical world, quite the opposite, it talks a lot about loosing in the physical world so as to win in the spiritual world. Unfortunately a carful reading of the NT also tells you that the vast majority of humanity will not win in that spiritual war either, even after loosing the physical war. By the numbers, the bible is not a very hopeful book, but very good at giving individualist hope that they are part of the small minority that make it out with a positive outcome. All in all, that created the the individualism that has made the west great, and is abhorred by socialist and collectivist the world over. It also is the west's best hope of not being assimilated into the global collectivism that is seeking to eradicate liberty and freedom from the planet.
