>4. Nord Stream 2. What will happen when finished?
Nordstream, or any pipeline out of Russia to EU, has to be viewed in juxtaposition with the desire for Qatar/Iran to supply the EU with natgas via their own pipeline.
This is most likely the root cause of all ME/EU issues, IMO.
Big question with NS2 is why it went undersea directly to Germany rather than overland through Poland or Ukraine, which would have been cheaper and easier to maintain.
Germany is all in with tech to Iran. If, say, they controlled any Iran to EU pipe line as a result of their tech investment, they would control the rest of the EU energy-wise. Traditionally Germany weakness is insufficient energy production. Think operation Tidal Wave in WWII.
Merkel ordered all their nukes aoffline fter Fukishima, which adds another question to the equation. What happened to all the nuke workers who were schooled to maintain German nuke plants? They're education system and industry is joined at the hip, and curriculum is planned cooperatively decades in advance.
