Adam Kinzinger Calls for Anyone Who Supports “America First” Caucus to Be Removed from Committee Assignments

Why is it that Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney and Adam Kinzinger live for tweaking Trump supporters?

Why do they believe that they have any support?

Earlier this week popular Republican Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar announced the launch of the “America First Caucus” to support American greatness. The media immediately flipped out when they saw the words “defending Anglo-Saxon” in their literature. They say it’s racist, of course.

It only took a few hours for RINO favorite Adam Kinzinger to weigh in on the idea.

Kinzinger wants anyone who supports this idea to be removed from their committee assignments.

Who the hell is this guy?

The Hill reported:

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) blasted fellow GOP lawmakers who plan to join the “America First Caucus,” saying anyone who becomes a member should lose their committee assignments.

Kinzinger, a vocal critic of former President Trump, tore into the caucus after it was reported that GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) and Paul Gosar (Ariz.) would lead formation of the group.

The caucus calls for promoting “Anglo-Saxon political traditions,” and several House Republicans came out Friday to criticize the group and its policy platform.

“I believe anyone that joins this caucus should have their committees stripped, and the Republican conference should expel them from conference participation,” Kinzinger tweeted.

“While we can’t prevent someone from calling themselves Republican, we can loudly say they don’t belong to us,” he added.

Apollo Joins Exodus To Florida As New York Tax Hike Drives Out Wealthy

The authors of a Bloomberg report claiming the trend of financial services firms moving from New York to Florida was rapidly starting to reverse couldn't have been more wrong. Barely two weeks after the New York State legislature passed a state budget that saddled the wealthiest New Yorkers with an effective tax rate north of 50%, the highest in the nation…

…more financial firms and their wealthiest employees are bidding the Big Apple adieu. Earlier this week, Bloomberg reported that Guggenheim's Scott Minerd was preparing to move to Miami as the firm moves to dedicate more resources to South Florida.

And now, Bloomberg has followed that earlier report up with another high-profile departure: Apollo Global Management, newly free of its founder Leon Black, was considering opening additional offices in South Florida, specifically in Miami and West Palm Beach, as well as elsewhere in the US and Europe. The decision to "expand" its physical presence its the result of a survey of employees about where they would prefer to work as part of a strategy to attract a broader talent pool, a spokesperson for the firm told Bloomberg.

Apollo, which has 1,729 employees worldwide, is just the latest financial services firm to commit to a more open ended "open working" plan as workers in the US start their journey back to the office. This contrasts with Goldman and JPM, which are already summoning front-office workers and analysts back to the office (now that we all know how Goldman CEO David Solomon feels about working from home).

Biden Decides to Raise Gas Prices and Heating Bills and Make America Dependent on Foreign Oil Again – Nobody Voted for This

Yep, no one voted for this. Biden’s Energy Secretary on Friday made some moves that will make gas higher (it’s already up a buck since the inauguration), will increase heating bills, and will make American dependent on Middle East oil again.

Hot Air reports:

Despite having pledged to take a balanced approach to energy issues during her confirmation hearings, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland made some of the worst predictions by Republicans about actions on such matters come true yesterday. Haaland revoked a dozen different energy policy orders put in place during the Trump administration, announcing that her priorities would be to address climate change and shift to “the green energy potential” of public lands, assuming any energy is to be produced at all. These moves not only fly in the face of many promises that Joe Biden made on the campaign trail, but also undermine statements that Haaland herself made this year when trying to tunnel her way through the confirmation process. Of course, absolutely nobody who has been paying attention will be surprised by these developments as they were all predicted by energy hawks who were familiar with the Secretary’s background.

Hot Air continues:

During Donald Trump’s presidency, America went from being beholden to foreign (and often hostile) nations to meet our energy needs to hold a position as a dominant global force in energy production. In 2019 and 2020 the country cemented its position as a net exporter of energy in the oil and gas sector. Plentiful supplies from our refineries drove gas prices down for extended periods of time. Vastly increased production of clean-burning natural gas resulted in cheaper home heating costs and steep reductions in coal production (which the green warriors should have been thrilled about but gave Trump no credit for) as coal-fired power plants converted over to cheaper and cleaner natural gas burners. It was one of the signature accomplishments of the Trump administration.

Yesterday’s announcements pretty much signal an end to all of that. Democrats are not only talking about jacking up the national gas tax, but the gas itself will become more expensive to begin with. Everyone with a job working on pipeline projects or in the industries that support such construction should probably learn to code or something. Joe Biden was blatantly dishonest about his energy policy plans while campaigning for office and his new top lieutenant on the climate-change front will now be clamping down on our ability to maintain our previous productivity levels.
