Trying to figure out who called in the NG. My guess is Walz wouldn't buck a Pelosi order, and the military, unlinked to Pelosi/Bidan ordered them in. Pelosi may have sent in Waters to rally the "troops", who got skeered after the arrests.

May have to look at this situation as normies being like private citizens in different warring countries.

Behind the lines, they live their daily lives, and may not be heavily involved in the validity of the grounds for war that here government is touting.

Only after their country loses the war do they come become aware of the actual activities their country was involved in.

Situation would be, then, like Patton suggesting former Nazi officers run the rebuilding, because they already had civil organizations in place, or knew how to re-purpose them from first hand experience and on the familiarity with the variables at ground zero.
