Serious question.

Looking over Notables of previous breads.

Why is it that if something is notable, that there are about 20 references to it throughout the bread? Not responses to the post, but notable references to it. Is this dependent on the baker's preference? I don't bake, so I'm just asking.

When I go back and look at the Notables, there might be 20 responses to it, but only 2 or 3 of the responses are actually from an anon.

It seems to me that it didn't used to be this way.

>Now it is mostly headlines and sound bites.

I've noticed that.

I'm interested in reading the anon's comments, seeing what other anons have to say about something, not just reading an article. I can do that on my own. Unless an anon has something to say about the article, it really isn't all that enlightening. I like to hear other anon's opinions of the article.
