either IDENTIFY this guy AND his institutional affiliation, or else this whole story is BOGUS, and needs to be removed from notables. common sense ought to tell you that these tests require resources NOT available to private citizens, and that access to "1500" HIPPA protected samples from patients who tested positive is damned near impossible to get.

Part of the issue is that the documents are in the form of Letters from the CDC in answer to a FOIA request where they Admit they have no DOCUMENTS pertaining to the FOIA.
Also although the answer can be summed up in a few paragraphs because the flat answer is simple in reality it is a much more complex answer if we were to explain it in Lay TERMS and requires not one but multiple references (all qualified by virologists and immunologists). So Simply saying it's NOT NOTABLE is insufficient argument because the sauce is complex. So let's start here with a virologist.

This is the problem CDC on the one hand has CLAIMED they have isolated virus but when pressed on their methods or proof they cannot PRODUCE ANY VIRUS or waffle on their methods describing WHILE simultaneously NOT producing any viable virus. ALL so called Virus produced so far is a 13 character sequence (out of thousands which were synthesized) that happens to be a genetic sequence NOT VIRUS and that sequence is identical to a known 13 character segment of Human Chromosome 8.
What the CDC refers to as isolated is a deliberately false and misleading usage of the term.
when anyone gives you a paper that suggests the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been isolated, please check the methods sections. If the researchers used Vero cells or any other culture method, you know that their process was not isolation. You will hear the following excuses for why actual isolation isn’t done:
1) There were not enough virus particles found in samples from patients to analyze.
2) Viruses are intracellular parasites; they can’t be found outside the cell in this manner.
