Interesting he only gives Texas and Florida as options.

To be honest this seems very suspect. Intel would have to know about the merge option, and those loyal post assassination. Its not a simple google the person and kill him. I think this is being blamed on CIA (not defending those fucks, but you are a fool if you believe everything happening is the CIA, especially if the outcome involves Russia absorbing territory). Even if the assassination was a success, who was 2nd in line? Reuniting with Russia isn't something you do as a sole head of state, and on such short notice as this. FSB knows full well anything that goes on can stick to the CIA/FBI/INSERT US INTEL HERE. If i was a betting man I'd say this was a convenient way to merge. I mean, you foiled the attempt so you give away your sovereignty?

They don't really want war with Russia. Its not like the goat fuckers out in the sand getting ass raped A-10's, Apaches, and c-130s just dumping munitions, would literally be another cold war. This assassination "planning" makes no sense even if you want war. Why would you plan it in Russia? Why even go through Russia? Shits so sloppy it reaks. CIA might be clowns, but the fuckers are try hards. You have already got a flashpoint brewing just get someone to start something in the Ukraine area. I could be wrong but Merging with Russia for protection is the strangest reaction to a foiled attempt i can remember. If they love mother Russia surely they could have done this any time. 2 men arrested, fuck it lets rejoin Russia?

But merging back with Russia? CIA will be blamed for so much with them being fully exposed for what they've done. If the headline was just assassination attempt found ok, but very convenient the attempt gave Russia more territory as they send military to Ukraine.

This is a joke. What can the US do to Russia if a man willingly starves himself to death b6 refusing food provided to him? They would have no grounds, dude literally suicided. We are going to sanction you (Russia already sanctioned to the brim) because guy didnt eat? I dont care qhst the grounds of imprisonment are, killing yourself is your choice.

Seven reasons why Belarus won’t merge with Russia

January 30, 2020

7 Min Read

The year-long saga of talks between Belarus and Russia over closer integration under the so-called Union State Treaty of 1999 was put on hold in December after Moscow failed to convince Minsk to accept a new and deeper format of bilateral cooperation: that is, a union state of the two countries with a unified political and economic system.

Over the past few weeks, the bilateral relationship has again come under strain as Russia – most likely for political reasons – cut off oil supplies to Belarus. In response, the Belarusian government, which could secure Russian oil only for January, announced that it would reduce its energy dependence on its eastern neighbour and replace Russian oil with crude from Norway, Poland, Ukraine, the Middle East and even the United States, demonstrating its will to keep a safe distance from Russia.

I guess all they needed was a good arrest to settle their differences. Good thing those pesky CIA'ers were up to no good again, eh comrade?

Seems might not have been a hard choice to merge with Russia

It's also because Belarusians aren’t driven by the deep-seated anger at Russian influence that fueled Ukraine’s uprisings in 2004 and 2014, or Georgia’s ground-breaking Rose Revolution in 2003.

While Ukraine has been geopolitically split between pro-West and pro-Russian camps since the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Belarusians are broadly Moscow-friendly.
