I don't even think it was Water's idea. I think she was ordered. My guess is it had to do with NG mobilized and arresting rioters. I don't think Walz called them in. Just my guess.
Other factor is, no way there isn't a mistrial now. Jury not sequestered until this PM and MAXine went in to make sure message got out before then. Is a mistrial what Pelosi wants? Maybe something like Chauvin gag order lifted when he's acquitted and Pelosi can't have that. Spitballing.
