Ardern presumes the meeting will not affect policy with the actual US government i.e. Trump.
Ardern may be incorrect about that.
There should be consequences for foreign leaders who entertain our former officials who are opposing our current ones.
It could explain Trump's choice of a hawkish Fed chair, which otherwise has me scratching my head.
