Anon met the guy at an interdisciplinary conference with plasma astrophysics as the main event many years ago at College Park Md.
People can argue back and forth about it all, but just a few of the phenomena he pointed out, and a few simple (repeatable, easy and cheap) experiments he showed really got this anon’s attention.
