I'm in Germany. Spouseanon follows this all the time because of work.

As of yesterday, in my state, worst in the country for vaccine roll-out (1% vaccinated), ICU's are about filled. 35-49 YO demographic has highest number of patients.

Same ICU condition in all of Germany, just mentioned our state situation because of the vaccination/high ICU occupation ratio. Does not appear to be correlated.

They have maps here showing ICU beds available state-by-state. We're rural, less affected.

My state now going to strict rules wrt to kids going to school. Both parents have to show evidence they work in excepted occupations in order for kids to go to Kindergarten, and school, too, I think.

Figure Taiwan is nuked up to counter a Chinese invasion. China has to deter a 3GD attack, and only way is MAD, seems to me.

Russia can't have their fleet bottled up in the Black Sea, and only chance Ukraine has against Russia is to use a nuke threat, with help from their "friends". Again, my opinion.

Fomenting public disobedience will force US military to defend internally, weakening perimeter readiness. Best strategy against urban unrest is to blockade them., and the regular peeps can do that. Looks like stratcom is telling us it's time to sack up.

Pelosi sent Waters to MN. Can't be any other way, AFAIC. Nor can I see Walz ordering in the NG and have them arrest rioters. I think loyal military sent troops in and it took Pelosi by surprise.They got Walz bottled up, now. NG stopped the rioting to the point where Pelosi had to send in waters to start it up again. Walz can't pull the NG back now.
