Actually, YES! We are. Jesus told a story about a landowner hiring people throughout the day, and the one hired "in the ninth hour" got the same pay and the earlier-hired one was upset.

Turns out the day begins at 6 am. So ninth hour is 3 pm. And that makes sense; "the evening and the morning" would finish up at 6 am, and at 6 am, there's usually light in most places.
That's so neat. My day's not over, even though it's half past midnight now! :)
Now, aligning with it? Easiest way is to "add six hours" to every time reference already stored. But some might not be stored (or, are on backup tapes and not easily accessible to change, and since they're backups don't really WANT them to change, like the Apollo tapes; anyway) and so, instead, the date/time of thechangeshould be recorded; then, any date/time references from prior to that have six hours added, and after that, won't.
Hmm, then there's a missing six hours. I used to do software, it's been a while. :)
