True about the totalitarian systems, but there are lots of ways to stop this. iran is not that powerful, and cannot bring down western civ. Iran is riven with internal dissent, and the gov control of the population is shaky.

Currently (thankfully), DJT is at the wheel of the executive branch. The country is run by federal, state, local governments. It is run by private enterprise. It is run by the military. It is run by christians, jews, atheists and polygots. It is run by all and none in a melange of democratic discord. It is not run by any single entity.
