Rudolf Hess was imprisoned in the “War Criminal Prison” in Berlin-Spandau. Any contact to the outer world was rejected, and even visiting relatives had to go through worst restrictions. There used to be a rotating watch on a monthly base, and the former Soviet Union had announced in 1987 they would release Hess by the start of their next watch. Since Hess was one of the very few high-level functionaries of the German Reich still alive, and – to crown it all – had exact knowledge about the events at the time, all alarm bells started ringing in certain circles. Under no circumstances this man would be allowed to talk to any living soul outside the prison – ever again. So they put an electric wire around a man’s neck, who suffered from arthritis in his hands and wasn’t even able to lift them above belt level.
An absolutely interesting historical document is the letter written by Guiseppe Mazzini to Albert Pike on 22 January 1870. It outlines the plans of how to establish a world government by creating three world wars:
