That's right anon. There comes a time when the "benefits" outweigh the costs. What good are these officers to their families if they are in jail? I'm certainly not one for masonic bullshit, but there are cops that are just trying to feed their family. What good is a pension (that isn't even really secure) going to do you if you choose the wrong maneuver on a suspect and it goes awry? No one asked, but I love how doctors can just twirl around their offices with reckless abandon shooting up everyone in sight with protected poison.
