Due to sentencing guidelines…Chauvin is looking at 12 to 15 years…unless judge adds more time due to the aggravating factors per CNN and Court TV.
By who, is what I want to know. I thought I knew…but I think the picture is much bigger.
Wouldn't surprise me. Supposively he was requesting a "federal prison" 3 days after the murder. CNN did mention earlier that he is segregated in a restricted prison unit for his safety.
"Chauvin had asked to serve his time in a federal prison, and the deal was contingent on the federal government's approval because Chauvin wanted assurance he would not face federal civil rights charges, the Times reported."
