anons, serious question…
one by one, google is sending notices to my gmail accts telling me that i have to provide my date of birth AND credit card info, to prove i'm of legal age. anyone know WTAF is going on? is this legit from google? how can they do that? i need to prove i'm 21 to have a gmail acct, but my grandkids can download the tiktok app onto their phone and be barraged with perversion 24/365? WTAF?

IDK… never mentioned on the "news." plus, i have over a dozen gmail accts, and so far they've only hit two. how would they know what state i'm in, anyway? i never gave any identifying info when i opened those accts long ago.
yeah, and when my wife buys vape liquid online, they verify her age, but i can understand that. i have no problem with commercial sites doing it when it's not coupled with any other sensitive info. but google? it's none of their business.
