Another notable said there's 40 days to count 2.1 million ballots. 40 days from today is May 31st. If they started on Monday though that would align with 529.

And that's the deadline for the counting to be completed; my money is on "they are able to finish before the deadline" although how soon before?

Well, we've heard "two days ahead of schedule" before, and THAT would make a 5/31 deadline wrap up on 5/29.
