National Fraternal Order of Police Slams LeBron James over ‘Extremely Reckless’ Post Targeting Columbus Officer
The National Fraternal Order of Police, the largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, slammed NBA superstar LeBron James on Wednesday for a social media post singling out a Columbus, Ohio, police officer present during the fatal shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant.
“.@KingJames, with his vast resources & influence, should educate himself and, frankly, has a responsibility to do so, on the facts before weighing in. This is disgraceful & extremely reckless.The officer saved a young girl’s life. No amount of gaslighting will change that fact,” the FOP’s official Twitter account wrote.
Earlier Wednesday, James tweeted out a photo of a police officer caught on camera at the scene where an officer shot and killed teenager Ma’Khia Bryant, writing: “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” Body camera footage of the incident appears to show the girl with a knife lunging at another young woman before the officer opens fire.
James deleted the tweet hours later.
Bryant was identified by Franklin County Children Services and police to be 16 years old and in foster care at the time of her death.
“It’s a tragedy. There’s no other way to say it. It’s a 16-year-old. I’m a father,” Interim Columbus Police Chief Michael Woods told reporters Wednesday. “Her family is grieving. Regardless of the circumstances associated with this, a 16-year-old lost her life yesterday.”
He added, “I sure as hell wish it wouldn’t have happened.”

We learned yesterday that once again someone who carried out a massacre was on the FBI’s radar, and the agency failed to do anything to prevent it.
After hours of Democrat politicians and liberal pundits attempting to politicize the tragic mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado that left ten dead as yet another example of “white men gone amok,” we learned the identity of the alleged shooter as 21-year-old Ahmad Al-Issa. Images from Al-Issa’s social media reveal that he was a practicing Muslim, complained about supposed Islamophobia, argued that America should take in more refugees and immigrants, and had a disdain for Donald Trump. Naturally, the narrative immediately shifted from “white male rage” to “we need gun control” in the liberal media, and Biden has called for bringing back the assault weapons ban (among other gun control measures).
As for the FBI’s knowledge, Fox News reports that Al-Issa was “linked to another individual under investigation by the bureau,” but no further details were reported.
And he was hardly the only one to simultaneously be on the FBI’s radar while being able to act as if they were under the FBI’s radar. As compiled by Tom Elliot on Gabrien, here are seventeen other people who were on the FBI’s radar that went on to commit or attempt to commit atrocities.

FBI Study: Most Mass Shooters Are Not Mentally Ill
There are many theories about what motivates mass shooters.One common one holds that every active shooter is mentally ill.
But a new study by the FBI calls that notion into question, showing that the vast majority of mass shooters do not have a diagnosed mental illness.
The study, released Wednesday, looked at 63 active shooters between 2000 and 2013, focusing on the shooters' behaviors prior to their attacks.
While most shooters experienced mental health "stressors" such as anxiety and depression, the researchers found that only 25 percent had been diagnosed by a health professional with a mental illness "of any kind" prior to an attack. Of those diagnosed with a mental illness, three had a psychotic disorder, a condition that is sometimes associated with violence.
