>>13489574 (pb) Fire destroys under-construction Langley condo development
LOOKING AT THIS FROM INSURANCE SCAM/FRAUD ANGLE.
Lumber prices are going up.
This structure was still being built.
Perhaps they didn't budget enough for the rising prices, and this ended up in the same boat as the Twin Towers?
Looking to dig into the owners, and any insurance changes made in the past "period of time" (year?).
>Fire destroysunder-constructionLangley condo development
>The building is said to be currentlyunder construction
>No one was living in the six-storeywood framecondo buildings on 208th Street and 80th Avenue, which were under construction.
88022 is President Trump's campaign's cell number, I see a reflection of it in the third quote above's numbers.
The following sentence starts out very confusingly! Because, the flood was around 4,000 B.C. and would have put the fire out. Also, "Hydro" was involved in that once-in-history flood; so it wasn't until "customers" that I started to get some cognitive dissonance:
>Nearly 4,000 B.C. Hydro customers in the area were without power due to the fire on Monday. Power was restored to most by Tuesday morning.
Also, want to point out that this isn't the Langley located near D.C. (which is in Virginia); this fire was in Canada. The "B.C." from the above is a clue there, to British Columbia. :)
>Metro-Can Construction, the general contractor for the site, said an employee spotted the fire and contacted the fire department. A security guard was also onsite when the fire broke out.
>The company said it doesn’t know what caused the fire.
So there's the company; here's their web site:
https://www.metrocan.com/
That particular employee, as well as the security guard, should be investigated as they might be involved, if it's related to insurance fraud.
Pic related is from https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/commodities/lbs showing that:
THE PRICE OF LUMBER HAS TRIPLED IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS.
So, there's the motive - saving a failing investment.
They are plaintiff in a court case, but I don't see them listed as a defendant. In this case (second pic related, and at https://biv.com/article/2021/04/whos-getting-sued-april-12-2021 ) they are owed 3/4 of a million dollars – perhaps not having those funds to use for cash flow purposes caused this fire?
Okay, a week prior to that they are a defendant: https://biv.com/article/2021/04/whos-getting-sued-april-5-2021 with third pic related, but that's less than $60k.
Well I ran the ball down the field some. Can't find info on who they insure with. Likely there's more there. "Follow the money" as well as "the love of money is the root of all evil."
At least nobody died in the fire.
God bless.
