Not everything they did was bad anon. Playboy and good old Hugh Hefner is a good example. He was OSS, recruited during WW2.

Things went downhill in the late 1960's I would say. Once they assassinated Kennedy (or turned a blind eye to it) things rapidly got out of hand. I agree that the Military Industrial Complex needs to change. Hopefully, this is what Trump and the white hats are doing. You can't just disband armies as the Iraq war showed us. You need to give them another purpose such as getting the military to build a huge wall on the border.
