U.S. Media is pretty much owned and operated by China now

"Sony Pictures Animation has appointed Justinian Huang, former head of development at China’s Pearl Studio, as its new vice president of creative. Huang will report to SPA president Kristine Belson.

Oriental Dreamworks, a joint venture between Dreamworks and Chinese investors, became fully Chinese-owned in 2018 after China Media Capital acquired NBCUniversal’s stake, and was then renamed Pearl Studio."
