Holy "on this day" Batman!

I occasional peruse "History on this day in History" and I don't think I've ever seen a date more beloved by the cabal than this palindromic 4X date… reading events on this daay reads like every baseball record ever achieved happened today (exaggeration, of course). A LOT of "35's" on this day. 2424=XX, 35=2i… ixxi ring any alarm bells?

Anyway, lots of space events, bombing events, collapses, you name it. [They] love orchestrating things for this day.

Oh, also occured to me that today's Qclock time can be read (alternately) as 19:94 (5-steps ahead of 19:99, Just For Kicks) and the 4:49 Q watch was dated 19th, with a [94] in the form of 49 minute-hand.

For whatever reason, I just had the inclination to look up how long ago this occured, given the subject nature. Chose PM version of the east coast time. Interesting delta (to me, at least, but I'm weird about numbers)
