Warnings for G1-G2 (Minor - Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm levels have been issued in response to what appears to be an early arrival of an anticipated coronal mass ejection that left the Sun on 22 Apr. The enhancement in solar wind parameters were first observed by the DSCOVR spacecraft at the L1 point at 24/2221 UTC. The transient solar wind feature is expected to cause auroral enhancements that maybe visible at night in the higher latitudes under favorable sky conditions.
