Over the increasingly high temperatures when talking with people these last decades… the prevalence of misunderstanding is becoming ever more physically painful to this anon. I’m sure (I guess I could be mistaken) we all want to eat, sleep, enjoy life and companionship… but often those I debate seem to Babel back at me and we end up as if in contest of the simple universals in life.

Makes anon very sad, because these simple things hardly make sense that We would disagree over them. I am more and more often left to speculate silly notions like earth-walking demons or poop-stabbing visitors from space. What a mess.

Not that far from the responses i got trying to debate who’s responsible for tree trimming and easement mowing. Soon gave up any hope of discussing storm drainage, road pavement, water, sewer and electric power distribution.

Another ‘technique’ we saw with increasing prevalence, was the use of draft. Negotiations and even answers to requests for clarification, were written and marked “Draft”. Never finalized, and loaded with spelling, grammar and cut/paste duplication… hinting at an attempt to respond, yet so overloaded with error that They could endlessly envoke “oops, we’ll have to circle back latr when We have more time to deal with you”. This simple ‘trick’ absorbed years upon years of never getting things done, to the point of exhaustion on the part of people honestly trying.

Almost like a magic trick.
