We will get to the point where augmenting our environments will hit a wall. We can only innovate what's around us to a certain point and it's largely limited by our ability to process and convey information. In this sense, and in cases where people with chronically low competence levels/IQ, augmenting our processing power is how we'll further innovate.

 

You're scared of these things because you're taught to be. There are diplomatic enemies of this country, tribal enemies of your tribe and ideological enemies of whatever you subscribe to. People usually dissuade further comprehension of things like this when it benefits them if you don't understand more.

 

It seems like you should do your own research.

It doesn't have to be bad. You can get involved and make the progress we build together more geared toward your preferences if you establish the competence such progress demands.

The world will innovate regardless of how you object.

Stepping aside and saying, "I want nothing to do with that. It's bad." is preposterous and it makes you just look impotent.

There are chronically incompetent people out there. There are limits to what we can change about our environments to better incline us to progress.

 

I don't claim everyone wants to "be chipped". I don't think anyone and everyone can benefit in rudimentary ways. I'm attempting to drain no one's life force for my own gain. I don't think some programming and silicone is the answer to spiritual reunification. I don't think forcing someone to do anything is reasonable.

 

You have a primitive understanding of the subject you're discussing. Your ignorance has jaded your perspective, causing you to lash out at me needlessly.
