Southampton hotspot will require vaccine card for entry

For Hamptonites, it seems, the vaccine is just an exciting new opportunity to turn their noses up at people. Page Six is told that soon-to-open Buddha Lounge in Southampton will be strictly for the beautiful — and inoculated — people. In fact, sources tells us it will boast a sign at the door saying, “No vax — You’re axed.” We’re told guests will have to show a vaccination card at the door before being allowed in. So, if you’re not ready to get the shot — just add it to the long list of reasons you won’t be able to get into the trendy spots out East this summer.

Somewhat ironically, Page Six reported last summer that restaurateur Zach Erdem — who owns Buddha Lounge — lost liquor licenses at two of his places in part for breaking COVID safety protocols. Both his 75 Main and Blu Mar spots in Southampton were written up for not enforcing social distancing, and for selling liquor to underage kids. (So let’s hope they’re better at checking vaccine cards than ID cards.) In both instances Erdem fired the staff responsible and was soon reunited with his liquor licenses. According to the SLA, its investigators and local cops inspected the venue on a Saturday night and found customers “ignoring social distancing, with most not wearing facial coverings” and “two bartenders and three servers without facial coverings.” It said that investigators returned later in the evening and found, “multiple employees and patrons standing, mingling and drinking around the bar without facial coverings, with several patrons from nearby tables wandering up to the bar to mingle and consume shots — in violation of the Governor’s Executive Order prohibiting walk-up bar service.” It added that, “an 18-year-old underage agent was able to purchase alcohol on two separate occasions without being asked for identification.” Buddha Lounge is due to open Memorial Day weekend.

GameStop execs to collect $290 million on their way out

Four top GameStop executives being pushed out of the company will get a sizeable parting gift — with their vested stocks valued at roughly $290 million. GameStop CEO George Sherman could walk away with $169 million if he sells his 1.1 million shares in the company when he steps down, based on Friday’s closing, according to the Wall Street Journal. Sherman announced last week he will depart GameStop by July 31 — and his separation agreement allows his stock awards to vest when he leaves.

Shares in the video game retailer were below $20 early last year, but a Reddit-fueled rally made the stock skyrocket to $150 per share. Sherman’s severance payout could have been even higher, WSJ noted, but the outgoing chief executive agreed to forego some of his stock awards — valued at about $50 million — and $5 million in cash. Departing GameStop finance chief James Bell stands to collect $44 million, chief customer officer Frank Hamlin could depart with $34 milllion, and merchandising chief Chris Homeister could walk away with $44 million, the outlet calculated. Meanwhile, Ryan Cohen, former CEO of online pet supplies retailer Chewy, is trying to revive the video game retailer. Cohen, who took a stake in GameStop last year, has been pushing to transform the company from a brick-and-mortar business to a seller of digital games. Cohen, who will become chairman of the retailer this summer, has been shaking up the executive ranks in the process, adding new executives from Amazon and Chewy.com to replace former GameStop execs.

He probably wouldn't, on the other hand, since he's decided to step all over people's personal liberties in addition to their privacy (HIPPA), the better solution would for people who live there to completely avoid this place as well as any other company who puts vac demands on individuals. They don't deserve our time or our hard earned money.

NYC’s elite sex club SNCTM to reopen with wild orgy masquerade

Pandemics are no party for anyone, but likely no one is feeling more “pent-up” than exhibitionists. So swingers will be quivering with anticipation at the May 15 return of NYC’s elite sex club SNCTM. “After a brief hiatus, SNCTM returns this spring with exclusive erotic experiences, promising a sensuous reunion for our most esteemed pleasure-seekers,” they write on the SNCTM website, adding that the $500 to $8,000 “tickets are extremely limited.” In an Instagram post announcing the kinky masquerade, the group promised an “evening of incomparable decadence.” A spokesperson for SNCTM told the Daily Star, “We have dedicated staff that selects each individual guest in order to create a dynamic balance for the event.”

Those who qualify to join in the world’s most elite orgy will be among the first to “christen” their new Manhattan penthouse location, a “sleek triplex … away from prying eyes,” according to the event listing. The website also warns that details “may be subject to change” due to COVID-19 restrictions, as the health and safety of their revelers are of the “utmost concern.” Masks, however, are not optional. Only these won’t be the surgical variety. “Under the cover of masks, members are free to observe, explore, and indulge,” they write, reminding that the dress code is black tie or lingerie — reminiscent of “Eyes Wide Shut.” “Despite these new precautions we’re finding the events to be absolutely superb,” the spokesperson continued in the statement to Daily Star. “The limited capacity is far exceeded by the pent-up demand. This has given us the freedom to curate the crowd at such a high level as was not possible before,” they added.

SNCTM emerged in Los Angeles as an ultra-exclusive sex club in 2013, and quickly established chapters in cities across the world, including London, Moscow, Miami and Kyiv, Ukraine. Their insatiable members are known to pay up to $75,000 for access to all of SNCTM’s offerings, granted only after taking a “blood oath,” according to founder Damon Lawner. The party’s peep-show attractions — aside from live, participatory sex, of course — are known to include erotic fire-eaters, Japanese bukake experts and even a few obscured celebrities.
