Forensic Fail: HARD NEWS (Murrow Entry)

Despite an average of 400,000 rapes and sexual assaults each year in the US, a Spotlight on America investigation discovered there aren’t nearly enough specially trained medical staff to help women in the dark moments that follow that trauma. We discovered the crucial care that not only helps survivors of sexual assault heal, but also pursue justice, is missing in many areas – with a failure to provide forensic nursing services to many women who need them.
