Appellate Court Finds Amazon Can Be Held Liable for Defective Products

 

The dispute centers on a lawsuit filed by Kisha Loomis, who purchased a $370 hoverboard on Amazon in 2015 as a Christmas gift for her son. She sustained burns to her hands and feet trying to extinguish a fire started after her son plugged the device in to charge it.

Agreed and from this, I def foresee some legal waivers of responsibility incoming to avoid monetary loss to third party faulty merch as bigwigs try to wash their hands of hurting consumers. imo.

As I stated I got spam pop up as tried to post the link, tried the Dot com bs and even tried the archive link and got the spam popup repeatedly. The court paperwork link was also in article and linked through courthousenews site
