Joe Biden: Jan. 6 was “Worst Attack on Our Democracy Since the Civil War”

Worse than the 9-11 attack?

The Biden administration released excerpts from his speech tonight to a joint session of Congress.

Joe Biden describes January 6th as the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

As I stand here tonight, we are just one day shy of the 100th day of my administration.

100 days since I took the oath of office—lifted my hand off our family Bible—and inherited a nation in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

Worse than the 9-11 attacks?

Worse than Pearl Harbor?

The only person murdered in the January 6th was Trump supporter and veteran Ashli Babbitt.

Democrat NYC Comptroller Who Previously Denounced Confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh, Accused of Sexual Assault

New York City Comptroller and current Mayoral candidate Scott Stringer was accused of sexual assault by a former campaign intern on Wednesday.

Jean Kim said Stringer, a Democrat, assaulted her when she worked for his campaign 20 years ago.

Stringer denied the allegations and said he had an “on-and-off” consensual relationship with his accuser.

“First, I want to make it clear that I unequivocally condemn sexual harassment of any kind. Sexual harassment is unacceptable,” Stringer said at a presser on Wednesday alongside his wife.

“This isn’t me,” Stringer said. “I am going to fight for the truth, because these allegations are false. The behavior described is inaccurate, and completely antithetical to the way I have conducted my life.”

Jean Kim spoke out publicly on Wednesday as well and asserted Stringer “inappropriately and relentlessly pursued a sexual relationship” with her and asked her more than once, “Why won’t you f—k me?”

“One evening, shortly before the primary, I was talking to Stringer about the primary when without warning, and without my consent, he kissed me using his tongue, put his hand down my pants and groped me inside my underpants,” Kim claimed, according to The New York Post.

“I pulled away and tried to avoid him. He warned me not to tell anyone about it,” she said.

The New York Post reported:

The comptroller said he met Kim in the late 1990s and that she “supported and donated to my campaign for public advocate, beginning as early as 1999.”

“She was a peer, she was not — absolutely not — an intern on the campaign. Our internship program was made up of college students. She was not part of that,” said Stringer.

Stringer said, “Jean was, as I recall, employed at the time as a publicist. She was an active supporter of the campaign.”

Stringer claimed that Kim “has never worked for me in any capacity” and that they were “friends for a period of years.”

“For a several-month period around the time of the campaign, we had an on-and-off relationship over a few months. She was 30 and I was 41. The relationship started and ended before I met my wife, Elyse,” said Stringer, who is now 60.

Over 176,000 in U.S. Died from Coronavirus Biden’s First 14 Weeks in Office

More than 176,000 people in the United States died from the Chinese coronavirus during President Joe Biden’s first 14 weeks in office.

An estimated 176,407 people in the U.S. died due to complications from the coronavirus during Biden’s first 14 weeks in the White House, according to statistics provided by Johns Hopkins University.

When Biden first took office, the nationwide coronavirus death toll was 397,611. Just one month later — February 20 — that number climbed to 497,374. By March 20, the number surpassed 500,000, bringing the nationwide death toll to 542,379 coronavirus-related deaths.

Once the president completed his third month in office, the nation suffered a total of 568,284 coronavirus-related deaths.

Now, the U.S. has seen a total of 574,018 deaths at the completion of Biden’s fourteenth week in office.

Meanwhile, as the president prepares his first address to Congress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) plans to exclude 1,400 invitees from Biden’s speech on Wednesday, despite most congressional members being fully vaccinated.

“We went from 1,600 people to 200 people. That is a different dynamic, but it has its own worth,” Pelosi said. “It will be its own character, it will be its own wonderful character, no not worried at all.”

As for other nations’ strife with the Wuhan virus, Ugur Sahin, the head of the German pharmaceutical company, BioNTech — which developed the first widely approved COVID-19 vaccine with U.S. partner Pfizer — believes Europe can achieve herd immunity by summer.

“Europe will reach herd immunity in July, latest by August,” Sahin told reporters.

REVEALED: Why Biden Couldn’t Discipline John Kerry for Briefing Iranian Terror Chiefs Even if He Wanted To.

The Biden White House has been steadfastly silent on leaked tapes revealing that Climate Czar John Kerry swapped secrets about Israeli military operations with Iranian officials. It seems the former Secretary of State is getting off scot-free for briefing a country designated by the U.S. government as a state sponsor of terror.

The tapes should play out to be a major international scandal, even constituting grounds for Kerry’s termination, as Iran’s Foreign Minister divulges that Kerry “informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times.”

But when pressed on the matter, Press Secretary Jen Psaki didn’t even sputter a promise to “circle back,” instead sternly responding with “we’re not going to comment on leaked tapes.” And three days into the scandal, mum’s still the word.

So why the silence?

Biden and Kerry are long time buddies, to be sure. But Kerry has “insurance” when it comes to his freedom within the Biden regime, and it leads back via another leaked tape: the one from Hunter Biden’s hard drive.

The tape, published exclusively by The National Pulse, reveals the president’s son boasting about being “in business” with foreign adversaries including the “f*cking spy chief of China.” The confession, along with countless emails, text messages, and financial transactions, cast Hunter Biden as a repeat offender when it comes to corruption, foreign collusion, and compromise.

And who had a front-row seat to all these blackmail-prone business dealings?

John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz.

The billionaire heir co-founded Rosemont Capital, an international private equity firm anchored by Heinz family cash, with Hunter Biden in 2009. And the multi-billion-dollar firm had offshoots including Rosemont Seneca Partners, Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners, and even Rosemont Realty. The Managing Director of the firm was none other than Heinz’s Yale roommate, Devon Archer.

And unsurprisingly, these names are as commonplace on Hunter Biden’s hard drive as the lewd images, drugs, and prostitutes. Wherever this trio went, corruption followed and foreign cash flowed.

In addition to leveraging family member’s political connections for high-paying domestic contracts and consulting gigs, Rosemont Seneca Partners also joined the infamous BHR Partners investment fund.

This $1.5 billion deal – birthed less than two weeks after Hunter Biden accompanied his father on a trip to China – had already come under scrutiny, as it was underwritten and controlled by Chinese Communist Party-run banks and officials. And Rosemont Realty suffered a similar fate. In 2015, a Chinese military-linked company acquired a controlling stake in the venture.

Why Did Congress ‘Bailout’ Utah For $1.5 Billion – When Utah Has A $1.5 Billion Budget Surplus?

Recently, Congress passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Act along party lines – no Republicans voted for the legislation. Within the bill, there was $350 billion allocated to states, tribes, territories, and 30,000 localities.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi forecast that “republicans would vote no and take the dough.” So far, she’s right, as no republican governor has returned the funding.

A case in point is Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R). Utah state government received $1.5 billion from the Rescue Act. However, the state has an estimated $1.5 billion budget surplus for 2021.

Gov. Cox forecast a $427 million surplus for 2021 and already expected to have a $1.1 billion one-time surplus. The total extra funds in the state budget amounted to $1.5 billion.

So, what’s the compelling public purpose for Congress to send Utah $1.5 billion in coronavirus aid? Considering the strength of their state economy, what’s the governor’s argument to keep the money?

We reached out to Gov. Cox for comment on these important issues, however, we didn’t receive a response. Although U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) voted against the bill, he hasn’t weighed in on the Utah “bailouts.”

MORE FROMFORBES ADVISOR

Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com mapped every government receiving the congressional bailout. Look up your hometown by clicking one of the 50 pins (state capitol) and then scroll down to the chart beneath the map to see the local areas that received Rescue Act aid.

Beyond the $1.5 billion in aid to Utah state government, a lot of taxpayer money also flowed to Utah’s counties and cities.

Here’s a high-level breakdown of congressional bailout flowing into communities across Utah.

Salt Lake County - $225 million

Salt Lake County is the most populous in the state with an $1.1 million residents. The county is home to the state capital and its largest city, Salt Lake City. Roughly 1 in every 3 Utahns lives in this county. With $225 million in aid, the county collected the equivalent of about $225 for every resident.

The county is home to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) in Salt Lake City.

Utah County - $123 million

Utah County is the second most populous county in the state with 636,000 residents. That means the county collected about $193 per person.

Brigham Young University located in the city of Provo ($31.6 million in aid). Brigham Young was the founder of Salt Lake City, the first governor of the Utah Territory and second president of the LDS faith.

Salt Lake City - $87.5 million

Salt Lake City is the state capitol and is known for its ski resorts. In 2002, the city hosted the Winter Olympics.

It’s also home to the Salt Lake City Temple. The 174-year-old Mormon Tabernacle Choir performs in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. With an estimated population of 197,756, the equivalent aid for every resident amounted to $442.

NYT bombshell report says Andrew Cuomo's COVID death cover-up was much worse than previously known

A New York Times report says the cover-up of coronavirus deaths at New York nursing homes by Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and his administration was much worse than previously known.

The bombshell report was published Wednesday and relied on new interviews and documents obtained by the Times.

Cuomo has faced a barrage of criticism over the order in March 2020 that was issued while the pandemic raged in New York City. The order sent coronavirus patients to receive medical treatment at nursing homes among a demographic at high risk from the virus. Officials later admitted that thousands died after the order but even that initial report was underreported, it was later discovered.

The Times report further exacerbated the scandal for Cuomo, who has also been plagued by numerous sexual harassment accusations.

Aides to the governor reportedly continued to cover up the true number of coronavirus deaths in nursing homes from state medical officials for at least five months. One report released to the public made New York appear to have a better rate than other states by counting virus deaths in nursing homes in a misleading manner.

During that time, Cuomo was actively publicizing his book that lauded his "leadership" in response to the coronavirus pandemic in his state. He received a multimillion dollar advance and the book was a bestseller.

The devastating report charges that a scientific report with a more accurate number of the deaths was never sent, while other reports meant for state legislators were also withheld.

New York state Attorney General Letitia James is investigating the nursing home scandal in addition to the accusations of sexual harassment against Cuomo. The State Assembly is also conducting an impeachment inquiry against the Democrat.

Cuomo's office replies

An attorney for Cuomo's office responded to the Times report and downplayed its significance.

"The whole brouhaha here is overblown to the point where there are cynical suggestions offered for the plain and simple truth that the chamber wanted only to release accurate information that they believed was totally unassailable," said attorney Elkan Abramowitz.

"The chamber was never satisfied that the numbers that they were getting from D.O.H. were accurate," he added.

Abramowitz also said that the failure to report death statistics had nothing to do with the book Cuomo was publishing at the time.
