I'm not sure about Sandler. Rob Schneider is in almost all of his movies and he seems to be anti- vax, anti-left to the core, at least according to his twitter. Sandlers movies are all (?) made by his own production company, Happy Madison. Was he blackballed and went on his own? Perhaps with a deadman switch? I have no idea if this means anything or not but it's something to think about.
