Police situation at car dealership complex in Gilbert
Dozens of officers from multiple agencies are investigating a situation at a car dealership complex in Gilbert. Police have blocked off most of the SanTan MotorPlex near the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and Val Vista Drive.
Officers and deputies from Chandler Police Department, Pinal County Sheriff's Office, DPS, Gilbert Police Department and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office are all on the scene. Law enforcement officials have been tight-lipped on the details and haven't said why they're there.
Video posted to Twitter appears to show police officers helping an injured officer to a patrol car on the westbound side of Loop 202, just outside of the San Tan Ford dealership. "He's shot! He's friggin' shot dude!" a man in the video can be heard saying. Arizona's Family has not confirmed what kind of injuries the officer has.
