When the dollar collapses and we are unable to afford shipping cheap shit from asia we will rebuild our manufacturing base with our designs and fabricate them in our own garages and sheds with our frens.
This is an episode of a documentary called Worlds Most Dangerous Journeys to School. It's about 45 minutes long and worth your time watching, however you can get a general idea of it's content just by jogging through the clip. The young girls must paddle themselves to and from school by themselves in a dugout canoe. Unfortunately this canoe is in a state of disrepair so while two of them paddle the third must bail.
My point is that if you want to be prepared for anything, start by being prepared for a complete collapse of government and infrastructure such as has happened ALREADY in numerous countries. Sending your kids to school in a canoe sounds based af to me personally. Living in a society where adults have failed to pass down such a basic skill as digging out a canoe and have resigned themselves to sending their children on the river in one they inherited, full of holes, well past its service life because they were never taught better is not based.
Nothing can stop what is coming.
