Washington D.C. is going to pay $1.6 million in settlements to those who were arrested for rioting at Trump’s inauguration.

According to lawsuits filed protesters were arrested without cause and excessive force was used.

The city of Washington has reached a $1.6 million settlement in two lawsuits that included allegations of arrests without cause and excessive force on protestors during the inauguration of former President Donald Trump in January 2017.

The two lawsuits were brought by the American Civil Liberties Union of the District of Columbia and attorney Jefferey Light, on behalf of protesters.

The ACLU said in a statement about the settlement Monday that the lawsuit alleged that then-Police Chief Peter Newsham and more than 20 officers “engaged in or supervised constitutional violations including mass arrests of demonstrators without probable cause, unlawful conditions of confinement for detainees, and/or use of excessive force.”

The ACLU said that even though just a few protesters caused damage and engaged in violence, police rounded up more than 200 protestors and “detained them without access to food, water, or restrooms for up to 16 hours.”

Trump supporters who were at the capitol on January 6th are not getting the same treatment.

While they do nothing about the crimes committed by the deep state and radical left they are targeting every Trump supporter.

Tennessee Will Require Watermarks On Absentee Ballots

A big win for election integrity.

The Tennesse Legislature approved a bill that would require watermarks to be placed on absentee ballots.

The Senate passed the bill 27-0.

The House passed the bill 92-1.

Only one member of the legislature voted against the bill.

Tennessee’s Legislature approved a bill that requires the addition of a watermark on all absentee ballots in a nearly unanimous vote.

Senate Bill 1314 passed the Senate in a 27-0 vote on Monday, and the House adopted the state Senate version of the bill on Tuesday in a 92-1 vote.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee (R) is expected to sign the bill into law.

Under the Tennessee Election Integrity Act, each county election commission must have their watermark approved by the state coordinator of elections. None of the publicly-available sample ballots will have the watermark. Additionally, signature verification of the voter on absentee ballots will no longer be considered the final verification necessary before counting the ballots – the approved watermark will be. If an absentee ballot is rejected, the official must write “rejected” across its face and include the reason for rejection.

Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona have also passed bills to strengthen the integrity of US elections.

200+ detained as May Day protesters defy coronavirus lockdown in Turkey

More than 200 protesters were detained across Turkey during May Day protests that came amid tight new anti-coronavirus restrictions. Footage from Istanbul shows that policing in the city was particularly heavy-handed.

Dozens of protesters attempted to march in Istanbul’s iconic Taksim Square, marking Labor Day. Groups of demonstrators tried to approach the square from different directions, but they were met by a massive force of riot and plainclothes police officers.

Footage from the scene shows multiple police officers handling protesters, wrestling them to the ground and taking them away in police buses. Officers were seen brawling with the demonstrators and using pepper spray on them, as well as repeatedly deploying tear gas.

Germany's Domestic Spy Agency Is Monitoring Anti-Lockdown Protesters

Germany’s domestic spy agency is monitoring anti-lockdown protesters, claiming they are potentially involved in a plot to subvert the country.

According to a Reuters report, the BfV spy agency is concerned that the demonstrations are being used as a cover for far-right extremists and people who believe in “conspiracy theories” about COVID-19 to incite violence.

“Authorities fear that far-right extremists and conspiracy theorists who either deny the existence of Covid or downplay its threat to public health are exploiting lockdown frustrations to stir anger against politicians and state institutions five months before a general election,” states the report.

While the government asserts that the movement has been radicalized, the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party characterized the surveillance as government overreach.

“Organisers of demonstrations which are mainly led by protagonists of the Querdenker movement have an agenda that goes beyond protesting against the state’s measures against the coronavirus,” said a BfV spokesperson.

Earlier this month, a judge in Weimar, Germany who ruled that two schools should be prevented from enforcing face mask mandates was subjected to a police raid of his home and had his cellphone confiscated.

As we highlighted earlier this year, German authorities revealed that they would be incarcerating COVID rulebreakers in detainment camps usually reserved for refugees.

AfD MP Joana Cotar reacted to the plan by accusing authorities of “reading too much Orwell.” The state asserts it has the right to detain those who break quarantine under the Disease Protection Act.

German authorities appear to be far more worried about the threat posted by right-wingers, despite the fact that the country has a strong and notoriously vicious Antifa presence, members of which routinely engage in violent political attacks.

‘It's May Day, baby! Let's kill some cops!’: Trump supporter reportedly leaks audio recordings after infiltrating Antifa group

A man who infiltrated a group of Antifa activists in Sonoma County, California, revealed to media that the radicals have a ‘target list’ and made allusions to carrying out acts of violence.

The mole told a local ABC affiliate that he felt compelled to “do something” after reading the manifesto of SoCo (Sonoma County) Radical Action, which appears to encourage vandalism.

Identified by the media as a “Trump supporter,” the man reportedly contacted the group and told his “comrades” that he wanted to “smash the system the same as you.” The ploy apparently worked and he was granted access to their communications channel on the encrypted messaging app Wickr. After gathering documents and recordings of their meetings, he then went to the press – and the police.

The alleged leader of the group, “Marb,” is believed to be a 25-year-old college student who was arrested for assaulting a police officer last year in Oakland during a riot sparked by the death of George Floyd. The charges were later not filed.

In one reported exchange from March, Marb explains how the group was originally called SoCo Antifa, but changed their name because there were concerns that identifying as “Antifa” would put them on an “FBI watch list.”

Another alleged recording made by the infiltrator details plans for May 1. Marb suggests that it would be “sick” to do something “a little more extreme for National Workers' Day.”

"It's May Day, baby, like come out and take, take somethin' over with us, I don't, I don't (bleep) know,” the group’s leader continues.

A member interjects: “Let’s kill people,” followed by laughter.

“Let’s kill some cops,” Marb responds.

It’s unclear whether the exchange was in jest or a serious proposal to carry out violence. The infiltrator reached out to law enforcement about the matter. Police told local media that they were unaware of “specific” threats but that they would take any potential acts of violence “very seriously.”

The infiltrator also obtained the group’s “target list,” which reportedly includes addresses and phone numbers of victims that they want to dox. In one audio recording, the Antifa activists discuss how they drove out to the home of a woman who heads the Santa Rosa Republican Women Federated, a conservative political group, lamenting that it was too late at night to do any “observing.”

‘Game of Thrones’ actress Esme Bianco sues Marilyn Manson for rape as authorities probe rock star over reports of sexual abuse

‘Game of Thrones’ actress Esme Bianco is suing Marliyn Manson, alleging that the shock rocker raped her, months after she and other women accused him of sexual abuse.

Filed in a California court, the complaint claims that Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, used drugs and “threats of force” to coerce sexual acts from Bianco, who played Ros on the popular HBO show, on multiple occasions. Manson is accused of “biting, cutting, and whipping” the British actress without her consent, and also engaging in sexual acts with the actress while she was unconscious. Manson raped Bianco sometime around May 2011, the suit alleges, with other incidents of abuse said to have occurred between 2009 and 2013. Manson, along with his former manager, Tony Ciulla, is also accused of violating human trafficking laws. The musician allegedly flew Bianco from London to Los Angeles after offering her a role in a music video and a film that was never made.

Bianco was reportedly ordered to live at Manson’s residence and perform unpaid labor, including cooking and cleaning. The suit claims that Bianco was forced to wear lingerie around the house and that Manson beat her with a whip that he claimed had been “utilized by the Nazis.” Manson is also accused of electrocuting the actress and locking her in a closet.

The lawsuit states that the pair’s relationship, which began in 2009, lasted for several years and was initially consensual, but that Bianco “escaped” from him in 2011.

Bill Maher now admits Russiagate was 'reported erroneously' after years of promoting Trump-Russia collusion narrative

Bill Maher now admits that the Russiagate story that he helped promulgate while Donald Trump was president had elements that were "reported erroneously." The liberal TV talk show host made the admission on the latest episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher."

There were hundreds of media outlets and some Democratic politicians that pushed conspiracy theories claiming Trump was colluding with the Russian government, including stories that the former U.S. president was a "handmaid" to Russian President Vladimir Putin because he was blackmailed by kompromat. Veteran journalist Brit Hume went so far as to say the mainstream media's coverage of the Russia investigation is the "worst journalistic fiasco" he has ever witnessed.

The Russian collusion story came crashing down when Robert Mueller's nearly two-year "investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities."

On Friday night, Maher made a confession that the Russian collusion story wasn't all that the media made it out to be. During a panel discussion about the federal agent raid of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's Manhattan apartment that took place this week, Maher asked his guests, "Is it political payback, is this politics or is it because what Giuliani and Trump did was unprecedented?"

Liberal author and historian Thomas Frank noted that the Giuliani raid wasn't "unprecedented," citing the Nixon administration and how "a lot of those guys went to jail."

Maher then asked, "But did they involve themselves with other countries?" He then followed up by saying, "I feel like, yes, we play dirty politics, but we always had one rule: no ringers, keep it in the family, do what you do, but don't bring in the guy from Russia."

"Look, a lot of this stuff we found out or we're finding out was reported erroneously," Maher said in reference to Russiagate, Fox News reported.

Maher presented his theory that Trump was "both an idiot and crazy." Maher brought up Trump's quote from the 2016 campaign trail, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you can find the 33,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press."

"We, like, thought that it had to be more of a conspiracy. It may turn out that most of it really was just what he did in public," Maher said. "When I look back, I'm like 'Wow, we lived through this?'"

At Least 9,245 Americans Tested Positive for COVID-19 After Vaccination; 132 Dead

The number of documented so-called breakthrough COVID-19 cases has climbed above 9,000, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As of April 16, 9,245 people tested positive for COVID-19 at least two weeks after getting their final COVID-19 vaccine, the health agency reported.

About 9 percent, or 835, required hospitalization, and 132 died.

Of the hospitalized patients, 241 were said to be asymptomatic or having an illness not related to COVID-19, and 20 of the deaths were reported as asymptomatic or not related to the disease, which is caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

The numbers are from 46 U.S. states and territories. It’s not clear which four states are not submitting the breakthrough case figures to the agency, which is known as the CDC.

The numbers are an undercount because the CDC’s surveillance system is passive and relies on voluntary reporting from state health departments. Additionally, not all breakthrough cases will be identified because of a lack of testing.

“These surveillance data are a snapshot and help identify patterns and look for signals among vaccine breakthrough cases. As CDC and state health departments shift to focus only on investigating vaccine breakthrough cases that result in hospitalization or death, those data will be regularly updated and posted every Friday,” the agency said in a statement.

A breakthrough case means a person gets COVID-19 despite being vaccinated and having two or more weeks elapse since their final dose. Two of the three vaccines authorized for use in the United States require two doses.

The CDC says vaccines are still effective, noting that the breakthrough cases represent a small number of those who have been vaccinated.

Clinical trials reviewed by drug regulators showed Pfizer’s vaccine to be 95 percent effective in preventing infection by the CCP virus, Moderna’s to be 94 percent effective, and Johnson & Johnson’s to be 66.9 percent effective.

The Johnson & Johnson shot was tested after variants began circulating, unlike the others.

As of April 30, over 100 million Americans have been fully vaccinated against the CCP virus. Fully vaccinated means getting two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna jab or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

15-Year-Old Boy Dies Of Heart Attack Two Days After Taking Pfizer Vaccine, Had No History Of Allergic Reactions

A 15-year-old boy in Colorado died of a heart attack only two day after taking the Pfizer vaccine. He had no history of medical issues.

According to data in the national Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, a 15-year-old boy in Colorado died of a heart attack only two days after being injected with the controversial Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine despite having no previous history of allergic reactions.

The case, listed in the database as VAERS ID 1242573, reveals that the 15-year-old boy was “vaccinated with Pfizer/Biontech” on April 18, 2021. He began to experience adverse reactions to the vaccine on April 19, 2021, and “died 04/20/2021, 2 days after vaccination.” The VAERS database also reveals that he had no other illnesses, no preexisting conditions, no known allergies, no birth defects, and no permanent disabilities. He merely died of “cardiac failure” exactly two days after receiving the controversial vaccine.

The revelation comes as the mainstream media and Biden regime have repeatedly criticized those suggesting healthy, young people should consider skipping the COVID-19 vaccine. Joe Rogan famously made this suggestion on the April 23 episode of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, provoking a litany of leftist responses and criticism.

However, the science appears to agree with Rogan: Healthy young people have virtually no chance of dying from COVID-19, but are more likely than older demographics to suffer severe adverse reactions to the vaccine, as National File reported extensively.

The report also comes as a woman experienced near total body paralysis and intense pain after taking the same Pfizer vaccine that taken before the 15-year-old’s death. Tennessee woman Brandy Parker McFadden was shaken awake by searing pain after taking the vaccine, and soon realized she could not move her arms or legs. taken to the hospital, where doctors began panicking. “I woke up. I can’t move my arms. I can’t move my legs. So, he’s freaking out. The doctors are panicking,” said McFadden.

Despite horrifying reports of death and disability that appear to be connected to the Pfizer, vaccine, the company insisted its vaccines are safe. A statement sent to WKRN News 2 by Pfizer following the incident read in part, “To date, more than 200 million people around the world have been vaccinated with our vaccine. It is important to note that serious adverse events that are unrelated to the vaccine are unfortunately likely to occur at a similar rate as they would in the general population,” National File reported.

The Pfizer CEO recently suggested, however, that two doses of the controversial vaccine may not be enough. The CEO claims that a booster shot will likely be necessary around six months after the second injection, and then annual vaccinations will be required to maintain immunity from an illness that over 99% of young, healthy people should expect to recover from naturally.

Car Bomb Kills 27 in Afghanistan’s Eastern Logar Province

KABUL—A huge car bomb blast killed at least 27 people and injured dozens more in Afghanistan’s eastern Logar province on Friday evening, with high school students among the casualties, local officials said.

The car packed with explosives detonated in Logar’s capital of Pul-e Alam near the house of the former head of the provincial council, Didar Lawang, the spokesman for Logar’s governor, said.

The house also operated as a guesthouse and the blast had struck just as guests were breaking their fast during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, according to the head of Logar’s provincial council, Hasibullah Stanekzai, who told Reuters 27 people had been killed and dozens more wounded.

He said among the casualties were high school students who had been staying at the house, having travelled to the capital to sit their university entrance exam, as well as pro-government militia members who were staying there while waiting for air transport to another distinct.

It was not immediately clear who was behind the blast. A spokesman for the insurgent Taliban said in response to Reuters’ questions that they were looking into the matter.

Florida Passes Bill Prohibiting Social Media Giants Deplatforming Politicians

The Florida legislature on April 29 passed a bill to prohibit social media platforms with huge user bases from knowingly deplatforming politicians and other Floridians.

If a social media company deplatforms a user they know to be a political candidate they face penalties of up to $250,000 per day for statewide officials and $25,000 per day for a candidate for other offices, the bill states.

This applies to platforms with over $100 million in annual revenue and over 100 million monthly users, eliminating many but the giants like Facebook and Twitter.

The move comes amid significant criticism from all over the world that social media platforms Facebook and Twitter have de-platformed users for merely expressing differing political viewpoints.

Meanwhile, Democratic critics argue the legislation is a payback for the deplatforming from social media of former President Donald Trump.

The bill, SB 7072, was introduced by Republican Sen. Ana Maria Rodriguez. It passed 77 to 38 and has now been sent to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis for signing.

It states that Floridians have come to rely on social media platforms which have transformed to become the new town squares to express public opinion.

“Social media platforms hold a unique place in preserving first amendment protections for all Floridians and should be treated similarly to common carriers,” the text of the bill reads (pdf).

“Social media platforms that unfairly censor, shadowban, deplatform, or apply post-prioritization algorithms to Florida candidates, Florida users, or Florida residents are not acting in good faith.”

The bill defines post-prioritization as an action by a social media platform to place, feature, or prioritize certain content or material ahead of, below, or in a more or less prominent position than others in a newsfeed, a feed, a view, or in search results. This can make it more or less likely that a user will see a post by a politician if these censorship tools have been applied.

The legislation also extends protections to media outlets, with the text of the bill stating that it will be illegal for a social media platform to “censor, deplatform, or shadow ban a journalistic enterprise based on the content of its publication or broadcast.”

Recently, Twitter suspended media outlet Project Veritas, leading its founder James O’Keefe to file a defamation lawsuit against the social media platform.

Tim Scott’s speech earlier in the week by saying that Scott is Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) “own tap dancer” who is “thirsty for white approval,” would have been left behind by Harriet Tubman, didn’t actually believe what he was saying, and is a “token.”

Cross said, “Tim Scott does not represent any constituency other than the small number of sleepy, slow-witted sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome who get elevated to prominence for repeating a false narrative about this country that makes conservative white people feel comfortable. Because when you speak an uncomfortable truth, like Nikole Hannah-Jones, the party that Scott claims is not racist gets big mad and tries to silence you. Just this week, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell asked Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to scrap teaching the 1619 Project in schools because it would re-orient the view of American history. Lucky for McConnell, he has his own tap dancer to try and re-orient the view of America for him.”

Activists Rally in D.C. to Demand Amnesty for Millions of Illegal Aliens

Open borders activists are participating in a National Day of Action in Washington, DC, on Saturday, demanding immigration reform, specifically amnesty, for the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens residing in the United States.

According to the release of the event, attendees are specifically demanding citizenship for illegal aliens and “citizenship for the immigrants who have toiled as essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic, citizenship for DACA and TPS holders, and the use of reconciliation to pass immigration reform.”

Texas, Florida Reporting Fewer Coronavirus Cases Per Capita than Key Blue States with Mask Mandates

Both Florida and Texas, two states serving as the model for reopening their economies and forgoing statewide mask mandates, are continuing to report fewer new cases of the Chinese coronavirus than key blue states, such as Michigan and Pennsylvania, both of which have shown no signs of easing their respective mask mandates.

Breitbart News has continued to track the seven-day average of new coronavirus cases in key states. Free red states, such as Florida and Texas, have continued to fare just as well, if not better, than pro-lockdown blue states. This week’s data was no exception.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) Michigan, which just began masking toddlers, has reported 316.9 new cases of the virus per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 31,648 total. Gov. Tom Wolf’s (D) Pennsylvania has reported 185.4 new cases of the virus per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 23,736 total.

Meanwhile, Texas, which has remained open for over a month, recorded 68.4 new cases of the virus in the last seven days per 100,000, or 19,844. Florida, which has remained open for months and never once had a statewide mask mandate, reported 170.2 new cases of the virus per capita, or 36,545 in the same time frame.

The CDC’s data on New York is not as straightforward, as it splits New York City’s data entirely from the rest of the state. New York City alone reported 131.3 new cases of the virus per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 11,027 cases. The remainder of the state reported 133.4 cases per 100,00, or 14,750.

While the two separately are less than Florida per capita, there were weeks showing the Sunshine State consistently reporting fewer new cases per capita than New York City alone.

According to the CDC, the U.S. has reported 32,091,429 total cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic, and over 101 million have been “fully” vaccinated, representing 30.5 percent of the U.S. population.

Almost Half of French Would Support Military Intervention to Restore Order

49 per cent, of the French public would support the military intervening to restore order and safety in France, even without government orders to do so, according to a poll conducted by Harris Interactive.

The polling was released on Thursday in response to a letter signed by 20 former French generals and an estimated 1,000 former and active-duty military members who denounced growing insecurity and Islamism in France and warned of potential civil war and military intervention.

Conducted on April 28th, Harris Interactive asked 1,613 people a variety of questions related to the letter and found that 86 per cent of respondents agreed with the signatories that the laws of the French republic no longer apply everywhere within its territory.

It also found that 74 per cent agreed that “anti-racism” activism had caused the opposite effect of what was expected. Forty-nine per cent said they were in favour of military intervention to guarantee order and security in France without the government ordering it.

Around six in ten — 58 per cent — of respondents said they support the military and ex-military members who signed the letter, with those who support right-wing parties such as Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) showing the most support.

Earlier this week, Ms Le Pen said she agreed with the sentiments expressed by the signatories and asked them to join her movement.

“I invite you to join our action to take part in the battle that is opening up,” Le Pen said, adding: “As a citizen and politician, I agree with your analysis and share your affliction.”

According to a report from broadcaster LCI, which commissioned the Harris Interactive poll, the French Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, General François Lecointre announced that active-duty members of the military who signed the letter would face removal or disciplinary actions.

So far, 18 active-duty soldiers, including four officers, have been identified among the signatories.

Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health

The Institute is located within the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The Gates Institute was started in 1999 under the direction of Dr. Laurie Zabin with the mission of Scholarship and Science for Social Change, which still remains as the Institute tag line. The Institute recognized the need to develop institutional capacity in developing countries to strengthen and maintain powerful family planning and reproductive health programs and research efforts.

The Gates Institute (GI) has trained more than 850 fellows, scholars, and visiting scholars from over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America in Strategic Leadership and research methodologies. In its early days and at its core, Strategic Leadership was essential in helping developing country leaders, including Parliamentarians and Traditional Leaders to refocus on households as key producers of health.

A Strategic Leadership course was taught to challenge the mental models or the preconceived ideas of who truly produces health. Led by Dr. Ben Lozare and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Henry Mosley, the leadership workshop continues to exist as a self-sustaining tuition-funded program, and its curriculum and training materials have been adapted and institutionalized in at least three major African partner programs (Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana, University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria) as well as the former Nanjing College for Population Planning and Management, now a part of Nanjing Technical University. Other university partners, in turn, have adapted the course materials for training colleagues from the ministry of health as well as local officials.

The Institute has also supported more than sixty students, many from developing countries, in achieving their academic goals by funding their dissertation work or providing funds for them to do an internship in a developing country.

A total of seven reproductive health centers of excellence have been established with partner institutions at Makerere University in Uganda, Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, Assiut University in Egypt, University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, Kwame Nkrumah University (KNUST), the University of Ghana and University of Malawi. In addition to institutionalizing the strategic leadership course, all have established graduate curricula or degree programs in reproductive health; developed faculty research for family planning, reproductive and child health, and population; and hosted family planning national summits. Several now mentor other regional universities, helping build their reproductive health teaching and research capacity.
