Newsmax settles lawsuit with Dominion employee and issues retraction over election fraud claims

Newsmax settled a lawsuit with a Dominion Voting Systems executive over accusations about election fraud and issued an apology and a retraction of those claims on Friday.

The statement on their website said there was no evidence that Dr. Eric Coomer, the Director of Product Strategy and Security at Dominion, had changed the election ballots.

Newsmax would like to clarify its coverage of Dr. Coomer and note that while Newsmax initially covered claims by President Trump's lawyers, supporters and others that Dr. Coomer played a role in manipulating Dominion voting machines, Dominion voting software, and the final vote counts in the 2020 presidential election, Newsmax subsequently found no evidence that such allegations were true. Many of the states whose results were contested by the Trump campaign after the November 2020 election have conducted extensive recounts and audits, and each of these states certified the results as legal and final.

The statement went on to clarify that there was no evidence Coomer had met with members of Antifa either. The statement concluded with an apology to Coomer and his family.

On behalf of Newsmax, we would like to apologize for any harm that our reporting of the allegations against Dr. Coomer may have caused to Dr. Coomer and his family.

Coomer has said that he and his family went into hiding after he was falsely accused of rigging the election for then-candidate Joe Biden.

"It's terrifying," Coomer told the Associated Press. "I've worked in international elections in all sorts of post-conflict countries where election violence is real and people are getting killed over it. And I feel that we're on the verge of that."

Coomer moved to dismiss Newsmax from his lawsuit after the settlement. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

His lawsuit will continue on against the other defendants, which include attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, Eric Mataxas, One America News Network (OANN), and the Trump campaign.

"With respect to the remaining defendants, Dr. Coomer is seeking damages to his reputation and livelihood and, once certified by the court, punitive damages," read a statement from the law firm representing Coomer.

Dominion has their own defamation lawsuit against numerous media figures apart from Coomer's lawsuit and it is ongoing.

New evidence emerges contradicting defense of John Kerry over allegations he leaked info about Israeli operations

Audio of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reveals he did not have knowledge about secret Israeli military operations until former Secretary of State John Kerry disclosed details about the operations.

The new detail directly contradicts State Department's defense after the bombshell allegation surfaced this week in the New York Times.

What is the background?

According to leaked audio of Zarif that surfaced last weekend, Kerry disclosed to him that Israel was responsible for more than 200 covert operations against Iranian interests in the Middle East. The New York Times did not provide additional context beyond what Zarif had claimed, aside from the detail that Kerry's admission left Zarif astonished.

"Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment, Mr. Zarif said," the Times reported.

What are the new details?

The Washington Free Beacon commissioned a translation of the Zarif audio. They learned Zarif confirmed on the audio that he did not know Israel was responsible for certain military operations against Iranian interests until Kerry disclosed that fact.

[A]n independent translation of the audiotape commissioned by the Washington Free Beacon shows that Zarif went on to clarify that he had no prior knowledge of these Israeli strikes before Kerry told him.

"Kerry told me that Israel had launched 200 airstrikes against you [Iran]," said Zarif. "You didn't know?" asked his interviewer. "No, no," he replied.

How did Kerry and the State Dept. respond?

Both Kerry and the State Department denied the allegation — but invoked different explanations.

Kerry outright denied having disclosed the sensitive information, while the State Department claimed the information that Kerry allegedly disclosed was not secret, but available publicly.

"I can tell you that this story and these allegations are unequivocally false. This never happened — either when I was Secretary of State or since," Kerry said.

"If you go back and look at press reporting from the time, this certainly was not secret, and governments that were involved were speaking to this publicly on the record," State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

Vatican invested in abortifacient morning-after-pill company for decades, investigation finds

An Italian news outlet uncovered that the Vatican held shares 'for a value of about 20 million euros' in Swiss pharmaceutical companies that produced the morning-after pill.

ROME, April 29, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – The Holy See’s investment management and real estate office (APSA) invested for 20 years in pharmaceutical companies that produced the abortifacient morning-after pill, an investigation by an Italian news outlet found.

Libero Milone, who served as the first auditor general of the Vatican Curia from 2015 to 2017, told Italian broadcaster Rai 3 in an April 26 interview (read transcript of interview here in Italian) that APSA had made investments that “did not correspond to the social doctrine of the Church.”

Rai 3 discovered in its investigation that involved numerous Vatican players that APSA held shares “for a value of about 20 million euros” in two Swiss pharmaceutical companies, Novartis and Roche, that produced the morning-after pill.

Milone said that his office alerted superiors at the Vatican to the “risky” character of the investments and the Novartis shares were sold in 2016.

So-called emergency contraception, also known as Plan B, contains hormones that prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation and preventing the union of sperm and egg if an egg is released. As a final resort, if fertilization does occur, “Plan B may prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the womb,” according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The Catholic Church teaches that human life “must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception,” that is, the moment of fertilization. The Church calls abortion, that is the killing of new life in the womb at any stage of development, a “moral evil” that is “gravely contrary to the moral law.”

Milone, who was appointed by Pope Francis to his position of auditor general, was forced to resign in 2017 — along with his deputy Ferruccio Pannicco — after Cardinal Angelo Becciu, then “sostituto” of the Secretariat of State, accused them of spying on him.

Biden says all schools should be open by the fall after furious criticism for not getting more in-person learning

President Joe Biden stated that all schools for children up until 12th grade should 'probably' be opened by the fall.

His statement, made in an interview with NBC's 'Today' show Friday, comes despite his acknowledgement that vaccines would not likely be provided to young children by that time – and following stepped up criticism by Republicans to tar him for parents suffering at home with school-age children.

'Based on the science and the CDC, they should probably all be open,' Biden told the network.

He cited a growing body of scientific evidence that child-to-child transmission is low in school settings there schools take steps to provide distancing, students wear masks, and other mitigation is in place.

'There's not overwhelming evidence that there's much of a transmission among these people, young people,' Biden added. He spoke as U.S. infection rates were finally on a downward trajectory amid increased vaccination rates – but with many public schools still closed or in 'hybrid' models to keep students apart.

He was responding to a question from NBC's Craig Melvin, who asked: 'Should all schools in the country be open this fall?' The show tweeted out the exchange.

Health officials have raised the possibility that emergency use authorization could be available for children as young as 12 to take the Pfizer vaccine shot by the spring, but experts are still studying doses and effects on younger children.

AstraZeneca won't ask FDA to OK its Covid vaccine for WEEKS after missing its mid-April filing goal as Mexico says it is expecting another 5 million doses of the shot from the US

AstraZeneca said Friday that it intends to seek U.S. authorization for its COVID-19 vaccine in the 'coming weeks,' acknowledging a delay in the much-anticipated filing that had been expected by mid-April.

The British-Swedish drugmaker revealed the new timetable as it released first-quarter financial results, which showed that the company delivered 68 million doses of the vaccine to the UK, EU and other countries in the first three months of the year.

The company said it was continuing to work on its application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), noting the 'substantial size of the file' that will include data from U.S. trials as well all other studies completed so far and real-world data collected from use of the vaccine in other countries.

Among the issues that will likely be addressed are indications that the vaccine is linked to rare blood clots, particularly in younger people.

Similar clots led to an 11-day pause on vaccinations with the Johnson & Johnson shot, which was lifted last week, with the conclusion that the clots are so rare the risk doesn't outweigh the benefit of the vaccine (although the condition likely is linked to the shot).

U.S. officials said on Monday that it's unlikely that Americans will get the AstraZeneca shot. The nation is on track to have enough doses for every adult by the end of May with only the three already-authorized vaccines.

But the further delay on authorization for the AstraZeneca vaccine comes after the U.S. promised to send 60 million doses of the shot to other countries and amid growing pressure to send vaccines to India, where more than 3,000 people are dying a day and vaccines are running out.

College professors caught on hot mic gloating about teaching Marxism, social justice to students

Two professors at Roosevelt University in Illinois, who also serve on the school board for a local high school, were caught on a hot mic recently gloating about how they promote Marxist ideology to their college students.

The leftist educators, Gina Harris and Ralph Martire, were joining a February school board meeting for Oak Park and River Forest High School via Zoom when they began candidly discussing their "social justice" and Marxist advocacy, West Cook News reported.

"I mean, it's all social justice, all day, every day. I get to talk about the things I love all the time. All day [at my day classes], all night of my night classes," Harris said gleefully about her time teaching at the university. "I'm really living the life over here."

Harris, who reportedly teaches "middle school theory and practice" to future educators at Roosevelt, called social justice "a part of everything" and a "foundation."

"Yeah. I always flip out the kids that take my master's class on fiscal policy and public budgets within the first three or four classes are devoted to philosophy of social justice and how you organize society. We don't talk about one, you know, budgetary item," added Martire, who teaches public policy and public administration at the university.

"They're like, oh, man. Professor Martire, this is a really weird way to teach a budget," he said with a smile.

Shortly after, he added: "If you don't understand your values, you can't allocate resources among public priorities that are scarce, but all needed. Right?"

At that point, someone on the call let them know that their voices could be heard through the microphone in the high school's auditorium.

"We're cool with that," Harris responded.

TheBlaze reached out to the university as well as the two professors for comment, but did not receive a reply in time for publication.

On its website, Roosevelt University describes itself as "a national leader in educating socially conscious citizens for active and dedicated lives as leaders in their professions and their communities."

According to his university bio page, Martire additionally serves as the executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, a progressive think tank "committed to ensuring that state, federal and local workforce, education, fiscal, economic and budget policies are fair and just, and to promoting opportunity for all, regardless of race, ethnicity or income class."

He was also appointed by Illinois Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker to serve on his Budget and Innovation Committee, and in the past served on the Equity and Excellence in Education Commission, established during the Obama administration.

West Cook News reported that Harris, who also works as a teacher at Emerson Elementary in Maywood, Illinois, described herself as "a restorative justice practitioner and peacemaker" during her campaign to become a member of the school board.

Blinken meets Israel's Mossad spy chief for talks on Iran

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met the head of Israel's Mossad spy agency and its ambassador to Washington on Thursday, and the Israeli officials expressed "deep concern" about Iran's nuclear activities, according to a person familiar with the matter, Reuters reports.

The meeting in Washington followed talks this week between US national security adviser Jake Sullivan and his Israeli counterpart in which the Israeli delegation stressed their "freedom to operate" against Iran as they see fit, the source told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

As President Joe Biden explores a possible US return to the 2015 deal to contain Iran's nuclear program that his predecessor Donald Trump abandoned, Israel has stepped up calls for more sweeping curbs to be imposed on sensitive Iranian technologies and projects.

Sharpening Israeli warnings, Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen told Reuters on Thursday that war would be sure to follow if the United States and other powers reached what Israel considers a bad new nuclear deal with Iran.

Reiterating Israel's position that it does not consider itself bound by the diplomacy, Cohen said: "A bad deal will send the region spiraling into war."

The meeting of Blinken and his team with Mossad chief Joseph (Yossi) Cohen and Israeli Ambassador Gilad Erdan was the latest in a series of high-level contacts apparently aimed at allowing Israeli officials to air their grievances while seeking common ground on the Iran issue.

At Thursday's talks, the Israeli officials voiced "deep concern on the Iran nuclear issue and other activities," the source said.

Henry Kissinger warns of risk of U.S.-China 'Cold War'

In rare public display of emotion, U.S. statesman Kissinger, now 97, pauses to compose himself while relating story about late U.S. Sen. John McCain.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger warned Friday that the U.S. government and the rest of the world has to work together to avoid a "Cold War" between the the U.S. and China in the future.

Hosting a virtual discussion for the McCain Institute's Sedona Forum 2021, former Sen. Joe Lieberman asked Kissinger how America will able to stay true to its values and "live successfully in a world with a rising China" at the same time.

"It's the biggest problem for America, the biggest problem for the world, because if we can't solve that, then the risk is that all over the world a kind of Cold War will develop between China and the United States," Kissinger replied. "And in the Cold War with the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union had no economic capacity, and they had a military technological capacity, but it didn't have an elemental technological capacity as China does."

"But China is a huge economic power in addition to being a significant military power. So it is a very challenging task for America. And it's important that we unite on that and don't divide ourselves into one group that is in favor of the moral aspect and another one that is in favor of the strategic aspect. The two have to be linked."

Kissinger, who won the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating an end to the Vietnam War, related the story of how, while in Hanoi to conclude the peace talks, he declined a North Vietnamese offer to take then-POW John McCain (son of the then-commander-in-chief of the U.S. Pacific Command) back to America with him on his plane. When Kissinger finally met the freed McCain months later at the White House, the future Arizona senator told him, "Thank you for saving my honor."

Recalling McCain's words, a teary-eyed Kissinger, who turns 98 next month, was overcome with emotion, pausing for several moments to collect himself before resuming.

"I have not known [any] person similarly dedicated to the importance of America," said the venerable foreign policy sage. "And the lessons he drew from his experiences [were] conciliation with Vietnam, democracy as an important commitment of the United States and security and human progress. He dedicated himself to this, and so, to me, he's a great symbol of the best America could do. And it was an honor for me that we remained friends for the rest of our lives."

Biden's Pentagon Denies Veterans Biker Group a Parking Permit for Memorial Day Event - First Time in 32 Years

ABC-7 News in Washington reports the Biden administration has found yet another use for the COVID pandemic.

In South Dakota, Biden’s unity-branded administration is using the pandemic to cancel 4th of July fireworks at Mt. Rushmore. The fact that the pandemic was worse last year, Mt. Rushmore fireworks went forward, and there wasn’t a single case of COVID linked to that event is immaterial.

In the nation’s constitutional capital, which Biden wants to turn into its own state on a par with Texas despite the fact it has fewer people than Austin, Biden’s woke Pentagon has denied AMVETS a parking permit for their Memorial Day ride through the city they put their lives on the line to defend.

COVID is of course the handy excuse.

The Pentagon released the following statement on Friday, leaving the group little time to prepare for an alternative and burying bad news on the weekend:

Unfortunately, the department has disapproved AMVETS permit request. The department took into careful consideration all aspects of AMVETS request, to include the current Health Protection Condition status on the Pentagon Reservation; substantial community transmission of COVID-19 in Arlington County, Virginia; number of Americans fully vaccinated across the nation; nature of this event with its decreased ability to maintain physical distance; and large crowds in one location for an extended period of time. This event draws national attention and participation; therefore the risk of exposure from participants from other communities extends well beyond the National Capital Region.

If COVID-19 conditions permit, the department would gladly consider supporting a future event request from AMVETS, potentially as soon as this Labor Day weekend.

The department looks forward to supporting future events with AMVETS, and as always, we appreciate AMVETS’ support of our veterans, their families, and their communities, including promoting better awareness of veterans’ issues, as well as AMVETS continued support for our missing-in-action service members.

COVID is improving, more of us are vaccinated, life is returning to normal in much of the United States. That doesn’t seem to have influenced the Pentagon’s decision.

The permit denial is actually a revocation, and it comes as much of the rest of the capital is reopening.

The Pentagon continues to decline the I-Team’s request for an on-camera interview. It did admit it revoked a parking permit for AmVets after approving it in March.

The Pentagon’s denial comes on the heels of the Smithsonian announcing last week that it will reopen eight of its facilities to the public in May, starting with the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly on Wednesday, May 5.

Additional museums and the National Zoo will open Friday, May 14, and Friday, May 21. Also on Friday, the United States Holocaust Museum announced that it plans to reopen on Monday, May 17 with reduced visitation, required face coverings, temperature checks, social distancing, and other safety measures.

Syrian Army To Storm Town On Separation Line With Israel – Reports

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is preparing to storm the town of Umm Batnah that is located in al-Quneitra countryside, near the separation of forces line with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, Syrian sources reported on May 1.

The decision to launch an operation inside the town was taken following a fierce attack on a checkpoint of government forces.

The checkpoint, which is located near Umm Batnah, was attacked by unidentified gunmen late on April 30. A number of Syrian service members were reportedly killed or injured as a result of the attack.

Following the attack, the SAA shelled the town from its positions in the nearby al-Sha‘ār hill. The army also laid a siege on the town. Civilians were allowed to leave on May 1 morning.

Company in Charge of Arizona Election Audit Accuses Court of Releasing Security Plan to Public

The Florida-based firm that’s overseeing the 2020 election audit in Arizona’s largest county on Friday accused a court of releasing its security plan to the public despite knowing it was meant to be shielded from public view.

Cyber Ninjas submitted a slew of documents to the Maricopa County Superior Court in response to a recent ruling by Judge Daniel Martin, who rejected an attempt to file the documents under seal because of their sensitive nature and ordered them filed by 12 p.m. on Thursday.

But even the plaintiffs in the case, the Arizona Democratic Party, agreed that one exhibit, which gave an overview of the security for the audit, should be withheld from the public.

The 7-page plan appeared on the website of the court on Thursday. It was available for anyone to view and download. The Epoch Times obtained the plan while it was publicly accessible.

According to a request for an emergency hearing, the court was aware the filing was meant to be shielded but still published it online for anyone to see.

At 11:02 a.m., about an hour before the deadline, lawyers for Cyber Ninjas informed Martin’s judicial assistant that the exhibit should not be publicly released. They offered to send over a stipulated motion saying as much.

The court approximately 30 minutes later asked for the motion. Lawyers drafted the motion and sent it to all parties involved. The court at 12:58 p.m. asked about the motion. Lawyers promptly informed the assistant that all parties had been provided with the proposed motion and they were waiting for approval. At 3:32 p.m., Cyber Ninjas filed the stipulation. Three minutes later, the judicial assistant responded, “Thank you.”

Additionally, the court’s clerk said in a minute entry from 3:20 p.m. that it received the stipulation and that the exhibit would be sealed.

But the security plans, known as Exhibit D9, were still released to the public.

Senator Tim Scott, a mild-mannered fellow with an engaging smile and a winning way about him, is really hearing it from Democrats for saying nice things about white people.

Everyone knows you’re not supposed to say nice things about white people — in public anyway. It’s written in the Black Lives Matter rulebook and the Democratic Party bylaws.

Senator Scott offered a little counterprogramming to the dominant narrative in his response to Joe Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress by daring to point out the obvious by saying “America isn’t a racist country.”

Now, we hear white people saying that all the time. But when a black man from South Carolina leaves the liberal plantation and says it on nationwide TV, white liberals become agitated and uncertain. They don’t quite know how to go about criticizing a black man for not falling into lockstep like other black folk and parroting the party line.

Amusingly, they’re botching it.

Liberal comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who apologized last year for wearing blackface, blew up Twitter by criticizing Republicans for only having one black Senator.

“Every Black Republican Senator got together to let the American people know the Republican Party isn’t racist.”

Except there are only two black Democratic senators, so what’s his point? Indeed, as my colleague at PJM Jim Teacher noted, Kimmell “whitesplained” Scott’s statement to much mirth and amusement on Twitter.

Liberals believe that because of their “solidarity” with black people, they can criticize white people as if their own skin is of a little darker hue. Take Lamar County Democratic Party Chairman Gary O’Connor. The Texas Democratic leader did his best Jesse Jackson impersonation in describing Scott’s statement.

“I had hoped that Scott might show some common sense, but it seems clear he is little more than an oreo with no real principles,” Lamar County Democratic Party chair Gary O’Connor wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post, referring to Scott’s rebuttal to President Biden’s congressional address on Wednesday.

Texas rancher interrupted during live interview as authorities search for migrants: 'We're under siege'

Fox News viewers witnessed first-hand how the migrant crisis is unfolding at the southern United States border on Thursday when a live interview was interrupted by authorities searching for migrants.

While explaining to Fox News host Dana Perino that "we're under siege here," south Texas rancher John Sewell was interrupted by immigration authorities searching for migrants on his property.

And that was after he already caught three migrants earlier in the day.

At the time of the interruption — in which K9s could be heard in the background — Sewell explained that Customs and Border Protection officials have not offered ranchers much assistance as migrants flood the U.S.-Mexico border.

"The basic thing we got from this yesterday, unfortunately, we're not going to get a lot of support from the CBP. They basically said their hands are tied and the best thing for us is to work with our state reps, our Congress, so on and so forth, our local officials are all doing as much as they can," Sewell said. "So, you know, it's very unfortunate that we don't have support from our CBP."

That's when the interview was interrupted and Sewell directed his attention to the ongoing search.

"Dana, I'm sorry, I had a group of guys coming through looking for some immigrants, you're going to have to put it back at me again," he said.

"I'm just going to tell you again that we're not getting the support as the U.S. This is not panning out good for us. We're under siege here. And when I say that, I've already caught three this morning before breakfast," he added.

Sewell went on to vent frustration about the government's response to the migrant crisis.

I obviously call the Border Patrol. That's our first line of defense. And that's another thing. You know, we're nervous as to what we can get away with and what we can't get away with. You know, these people— it seems like they have more rights than we do. It's very unfortunate that we're having to battle this and the CBP is telling us that all they do is enforce policy. Well, if the policy from the administration is catch and release, let's say, because that's all we're doing, we're taking them back to the border, testing some, maybe all — I don't know the true answer to that — and turning them loose in the U.S. We're not turning them back and I said it before and I'll say it again, these people are coming to you guys. They're not staying here with us.

Authors Challenge Germ Theory & Covid Hoax

This 777-page book by two non-doctors, (Dawn Lester is an accountant and David Parker is an electrical engineer,) challenges the germ theory to its very core, a theory which is the foundation of our current allopathic medical system.

The two British authors spent ten-years researching and writing their massive book. They address every topic from small pox and polio to vaccines, the flu and the Black Death.

But the central thesis of the book is their systematic attack on the veracity of the germ theory. They repeat often that there is no evidence that viruses or bacteria cause any disease.

Chapter three is titled "The Germ Theory: A Deadly Fallacy." After much research, the authors conclude that there is no evidence that the germ theory has ever been scientifically proven.

Proposed by Louis Pasteur in the 1860's, the germ theory of disease caught on and became accepted by the medical establishment of the day. By the late nineteenth century the idea that germs caused disease led to the introduction of vaccines to fight the various disease caused by the so called pathogenic germs.

The authors conclude that the germ theory is a fallacy, that vaccinations, a source of healthy profits for the pharmaceutical industry, are useless and do not provide immunity to any disease and that Pasteur and Albert Jenner, … responsible for contributing … to the human suffering and misery…."

The authors point to the case of German biologist Dr Stefan Lanka, PhD, and his work on viruses and especially on the measles virus.

Dr Lanka… concludes that there is no virus that can be proven to be the cause of any disease.

In a recent court case in Germany the highest court held, on appeal, that there was no scientific proof that a virus was the cause of measles. While he lost at the lower court level Dr Lanka defeated the pharmaceutical industry when the higher court found that the pharmaceutical industry papers failed to prove that a virus cause measles.

‘Crickets’: GOP Slams Corporate America, NAACP, BLM Silence over Racial Slur Against Tim Scott

Republicans criticized Black Lives Matter (BLM), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and corporate America for refusing to condemn the “Uncle Tim” slur to black Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) that surfaced Wednesday and went viral on Twitter.

In the wake of his rebuttal to President Joe Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress, leftists on Twitter began using the hashtag “Uncle Tim” in reference to Scott, the lone black Republican in the Senate.

Democrats, who claim to be the only party to stand up for black Americans, have also reportedly remained silent on using the hashtag “Uncle Tim,” a play on the derogatory racial caricature Uncle Tom’s name presents black people as subservient.

Scott, the lone black Republican in the Senate, called out the hypocrisy of so-called “woke” corporate America.

He indicated that while they support BLM, sometimes echoing one of the leftist group’s favorite slogans, “Silence is violence,” they stay silent when the political ideology of a victim of racism does not align with the left.

Via Twitter, conservatives, including Sen. Lindsey Graham, ripped the NAACP and BLM for not condemning the racial slur after it was disseminated by liberal critics of the black GOP senator Wednesday, the Daily Mail pointed out.

The racial slur “Uncle Tim” was trending on Twitter for 12 hours unhindered, despite the social media giant’s policy that bans all forms of racism on its microblogging platform.

Twitter ultimately blocked the hashtag after 12 hours, blaming “an algorithm” for allowing “#UncleTim” to trend for so long,” the Hill noted.

While Republicans, even Never-Trumpers, hailed Scott’s response, Biden’s address received criticism from both parties, potentially fueling the ire against the black senator.

Angering Democrats and their supporters, Scott made headlines by saying, “Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country.”

“It’s backward to fight discrimination with different discrimination,” he added before “Uncle Tim” had even begun to pick up steam on Twitter.

“I’ve also experienced a different kind of intolerance,” he later noted. “I get called ‘Uncle Tom’ and the N-word — by ‘progressives’! By liberals!”

That comment likely triggered or at least helped to spark the vitriol that followed on Twitter, with leftists doubling down and calling him “Uncle Tim” over and over again.

On Friday, Scott told Fox News;

Last night what was trending in social media was “Uncle Tim,” and they doubled down on this concept of liberal oppression. It is stunning in 2021 that those who speak about ending discrimination want to end it by more discrimination.

Leftists on Twitter and Democrat-allied pundits on CNN and MSNBC were also reportedly angry with Scott’s contention during his rebuttal that he does not believe America is racist despite personally experiencing discrimination.

Twitter has a policy that bans all forms of racism on its platform.

That’s according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert. He says it is important for those getting one of the two-dose vaccines to complete their course to gain maximum protection against the virus.

Speaking during a White House briefing, he pointed to several scientific studies showing significant benefits of the second shot, including reducing the risk of infection and strengthening the response of the immune system to the virus.

Says Fauci: “Get vaccinated, and if you’re getting a two-dose regimen, make sure you get that second dose.”

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkish authorities have granted Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine approval for its emergency use in Turkey, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced Friday.

Koca said on Twitter the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency approved the vaccine’s emergency use following its “examinations and evaluations,” paving the way for use alongside Sinovac and the Pfizer vaccines.

It was not known when the country will begin administering the vaccine. Koca said this week Turkey would receive 50 million doses of the Sputnik V shots within the next six months.

Russian Direct Investment Fund recently signed an agreement with Turkish biopharmaceutical company Viscoran Ilac to begin producing its Sputnik V vaccine in Turkey. Viscoran aims to start production in the coming months in several facilities, the company said.

Turkey, a nation of 84 million, says it has administered some 22.8 million doses since it rolled out its vaccination program in mid-January. About 9 million people have been fully vaccinated.

Four Connected Stories Last Week Indicate Rudy Giuliani Was Likely One of The 2019 Victims of FBI FISA Abuse, and Mary McCord is Needed as Insurance

There were four stories that broke in the past week; “broke“as in: were revealed, but not necessarily by media. Yet it doesn’t seem like anyone is putting them into their connected context. I am outlining below (w/ citations) and hopefully everyone can see the connection:

♦(1) The 2020 FISA review and opinion by presiding Judge James Boasberg was declassified. The review is for year 2019 (written October 2020, declassified April 2021). Notice the FISC review is for FBI conduct in 2019.

Within the outline Boasberg notes ongoing abuses by FBI officers of the NSA database. Boasberg specifically called attention to the FBI use of that database for warrantless searches of public and private officials. {LINK}

♦(2) Judge Boasberg hires former DOJ National Security Head Mary McCord as an Amicus Curiae for the court. McCord is a known corrupt actor within the DOJ with political motives and intentions. Including her work and efforts with the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG Atkinson) during the first impeachment effort against President Trump. Notice, Boasberg hired McCord for the role at the same time the 2020 opinion is declassified. {LINK}

♦(3) The FBI raids the home of Rudy Giuliani with a search warrant for his electronic devices. Notice the reports of the search warrant highlight the FBI must have something of substance -or at least the appearance of something of substance- in order to get a judge to sign-off on a search warrant. {LINK}

♦(4) Rudy Giuliani reveals during an interview that the search warrant used included a reference to supportive evidence obtained by the FBI in 2019. Giuliani then explains that when his lawyer questioned the FBI they said they searched his iCloud account in 2019 WITHOUT a warrant. {LINK}

Put these stories together and what you realize is a likelihood the warrantless 2019 FBI search of Giuliani’s iCloud account is likely one of the 2019 violations noted by Judge Boasberg in his review…. which would explain the motive of the FISC to hire Mary McCord in the event this series of events goes sideways in front of the public.

McCord’s expertise is in defending the DOJ-National Security Division from exposure of wrongdoing in their use of FISA authorities to investigate their political opposition. The FISC now needs that same level of skill to defend them in the event the FBI/DOJ’s warrantless search of Guiliani becomes a toxic issue.

McCord will argue that tips to the FBI about Giuliani acting as an agent for Ukraine (FARA 951 justification) formed the basis of the FBI exploiting the NSA database using FISA authorities; which they will claim didn’t need a warrant because the investigation was into Giuliani working as an agent for a foreign government.

All four stories are connected.

Nineteen active and retired police officers take the Province of Ontario to court over Wuhan virus lockdown measures.

At a recent press conference, Rocco Galati, a Toronto-based lawyer and the executive director of the Constitutional Rights Centre, announced that 15 active and four former police officers are now in the process of taking the province of Ontario to court regarding the ongoing clampdown on freedoms due to COVID-19.

The notice of application was recently filed in Ontario Superior Court. It names Premier Doug Ford, the attorneys general of Ontario and Canada, and the chiefs of the police services of Toronto, York, Niagara, Ottawa and Hamilton as respondents. The application challenges the province’s COVID-19 measures as being unconstitutional. It also argues that mandating police officers to enforce these rules is a violation of the oath undertaken by Ontario’s sworn officers.

Galati’s press conference was attended by Sgt. Julie Evans of the Toronto Police Service and Const. Christopher Vandenbos of the York Regional Police Service, who could potentially face repercussions or even dismissal for taking such a stand.

Still, Galati blasted the various lockdown regulations as being “too vague” and “too broad,” noting that “many officers are getting their [enforcement] cues not from the regulations but from politicians and superiors.”

Galati stated that enforcing “many of these Covid measures cause the officers to breach their oath” – in which they specifically swear to uphold the Constitution of Canada.

Galati also pointed to police officers stopping citizens with no cause and demanding identification, likening this to “martial law. But the province does not have jurisdiction to impose martial law.”

Indeed, the pandemic, according to the application, does not even meet the criteria for an “emergency” under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection (EMCP) Act.

The applicants also allege that the province lacks the powers to impose lockdowns or stay-at-home orders as per the Constitution Act.

Galati said he is hopeful that the case will be heard sometime in the fall.

The myth of the “honorable” FBI rank and file…

1.) When I was in DC, doing deep research on the issues around spygate and trying to understand the depth of corruption within the legislative and judicial branches, I ran into a guy…

2.) DC was locked down at the time (May/June 2020), so there were very few people around. However, this guy's credentials within the DC system were impeccable.

I checked him out afterward & was stunned at how he spent his entire career in/around the IC and related apparatus

3.) After a lengthy and casual introduction and discussion, I was genuinely shocked at the severity of his warnings about the FBI, DOJ and various other agencies.

However, in hindsight, after checking him out, I realized he was certainly a person to understand.

4.) His warning was direct, devoid of emotion, very deliberate and very cold. But behind his eyes and words was a guy telling the truth; the quiet part that no-one inside the bubble says openly.

5.) What he said was that not a single person of honor or integrity can survive inside the DC institutions we were discussing. The system itself is designed to remove them… All of them… every-single-one.

6.) He laughed at the term "honorable" rank and file. But it wasn't a snarky laugh; it was almost like a resignation laugh… a genuine look toward the sky and compassion for a view I held that his honesty would destroy.

7.) He wasn't bitter, angry or jaded; and I would not call him cynical. He was very genuine, very wise, held decades of knowledge…. and was a "just the facts" kinda Joe Friday guy.

8.) I found out a few days later his job within the system was sending him overseas again. Perhaps that's why he apparently wanted to tell the genuine side of his story and experience. Dunno, but I will never forget it.

9.) I still held the belief there were three branches of government…. and there were "checks and balances"… and there had to be some way for a good person to expose corruption.

He quickly dispatched those beliefs (with examples).

10.) He explained the "checks and balances" I spoke of did exist at a time when there were three branches of government. However, that time has long passed.

There is only one overarching DC eco-system now. The three branch concept is gone. Doesn't exist.

11.) As he explained, the levers of power are all controlled by the same system, and behind that system are positions - not people. "Positions"

12.) People are evaluated based on their ability to support and protect the system. Their skill level is what moves them into position.

MS-13, other gang members exploit migrant wave to cross into US

Members of MS-13 and other gangs are slipping across the southern border, hidden in the waves of thousands of Mexican and Central American migrants who continue to surge into the US.

Border Patrol officials detained five gang members in the last week near frontier crossings at Laredo, TX., said US Border Patrol Agent Chief Matthew Hudak in a tweet Friday.

“They attempt to evade arrest by exploiting the influx of migrants attempting to enter our country,” Hudak tweeted.

Among those caught was a member of MS-13 and two 18th Street gang members, he said.

Both gangs are extremely violent and have origins among Central American immigrant communities in Los Angeles. MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, tried to establish an east coast stronghold on Long Island, responsible for dozens of murders in Suffolk County beginning in 2016. After an intense crackdown, Suffolk County authorities said they had practically eradicated the gang in the region two years ago.
