These people are trying to draw out their champion, and they think their champion can defeat the Almighty.

Also, it seems as though men have weaponized "acts of God" like tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc.
No wonder their signs increase in frequency, amplitude and wavelength the closer we get to the end. Men always use the weapons they make.
And everything in the universe works on pressure mediation; all of those "acts of God" included.
