Soros connected Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is now criticizing the current audit ongoing in Maricopa County by focusing on its operations and policies. Her arguments are weak, especially when comparing them to the operations she oversees. This is her best and latest effort to sidetrack the audit and it’s a bad joke.

Arizona has a Soros-connected Secretary of State in Arizona in Katie Hobbs. She is not in favor of the Maricopa audit which shows her disregard for her role and her state:

Hobbs begins with concerns based on disclosed operations in seven points:

1. In her first point she again brings up a tweet by a reporter regarding activities that took place before the audit and the type of colored pen used in the audit. It was also used in a court case and it’s ridiculous.

1. In the second point Hobbs claims her systems were reviewed by certified auditors of the EAS. This is likely false since we uncovered that both firms certified by the EAS were not certified when Maricopa County selected them to perform their rubber-stamped audits. These firms were used for system analysis before the election and were likely not certified then as well.

1. In her next few comments Hobbs makes assertions with no examples and then lands on the ballots chain of custody as a concern. Paradoxically, Hobbs never said a thing about the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors loading ballots on a truck and shipping them to God knows where a few weeks ago:

This illegal activity was concerning but then again so were the shredded ballots found outside the Maricopa County Tabulation Center a few weeks ago as well. Hobbs had no concerns with any of this that we are aware of:

Parents, School Boards, Unions Clash over Classroom Masks Across Country: ‘Unmask Our Kids Now!’

Parents are protesting and voicing dissent against mask mandates as school boards continue to require them to be worn in the classroom.

Utah’s Granite School District board attempted to abruptly end its meeting Tuesday when parents were unhappy that a state mask mandate had ended, but one for schools remained, KUTV reported.

The audience jeered as Utah state Sen. Kathleen Riebe (D) was invited to the podium to thank teachers and the board tried to end the public comment period.

“You let a senator come up here and speak in the name of my children, who you guys are abusing? Are you serious?” one parent said.

“You will listen to us!” an attendee shouted. “Remember this day! Remember this day!”

Earlier that day, parents in Seminole County, Florida protested outside the school administration building, holding signs that read, “Unmask our kids now,” “Mandates aren’t constitutional,” and “Medical freedom, no mandate,” according to Fox 35.

“Yesterday, (Gov. Ron) DeSantis (R) said the pandemic was over, we need to go back to living our normal everyday life everywhere,” parent Melissa Taylor said.

A school official said they will “wait and see based on health professionals” about repealing the mask order.

Parents at Southwest Allen County Schools in Fort Wayne, Indiana, attended Tuesday’s meeting to demand answers about the ongoing mask requirement, WANE reported.

Masks were not on the agenda, so the board would not discuss the policy.

“This is not acceptable, not at all,” one attendee said.

“So how can we give any feedback, because you’re voted in by us, so how can we give you feedback?” one woman wondered.

“When are you going to decide on the masking policy for next year?” a parent said. “Are you going to seek parent input for that? What data are you using to make decisions for the masking policy?”

School board president Brad Mills told the news station it is out of their hands, as it was mandated by the state.

Punk Rocker John Joseph on Outdoor Concert Backlash: If You Disagree ‘Stay the F**k Home, Watch CNN’

New York punk rocker John Joseph, from the bands Bloodclot and Cro-Mags, responded to backlash over a large punk show recently held in New York City, proclaiming that he “could give a fuck less” about those who disagree with the event, adding that critics should “stay the fuck home, watch CNN.”

Thousands of concertgoers packed into Tompkins Square Park for the show, which appeared to be the largest city-permitted concert in New York City since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report by Gothamist.

“The park was filled that day anyway,” John Joseph explained in a statement to PunkNews. “Anybody that knows Tompkins Square Park knows on a 70 degree sunny day there are huge crowds in there on a Saturday. We could not control how many people attended the show.”

Joseph added that the punk show was put on because, “we decided to take a stand and open back up our stages and our way of life.”

“Just because some of you don’t agree with it I could give a fuck less,” the punk rocker said. “Stay the fuck home, watch CNN and the rest. I never gave a shit what critics said in the 70s and 80s and I still don’t care.”

“Cancel culture can go fuck themselves,” Joseph continued. “They are the same ones who criticized punk rock in the 70s and hardcore in the 80s. And they will all go away soon to live out [their] quiet lives of desperation while we carry on what we’ve been doing for decades.”

Joseph also railed against the “metal and alternative press,” which he said “threw us under a fucking bus,” and “trusted the lying ass media,” instead of going directly to the band members to get their stories.

“Then the whole cancel culture shit ran with the story talking shit about each and every one of us who participated in the show,” Joseph said. “I don’t care about all you people that called it a super-spreader show and the rest of the bullshit you talked — there has not been one case of COVID reported.”

Joseph said reports claiming the show was put on using a permit that listed the event as a 9/11 memorial are “total and complete bullshit.”

“BLM had a table set up taking donations at the show and we fed over 400 people organic plant-based meals that day,” Joseph explained.

“We also raised well over $10,000 in donations for the fire department of New York’s burn center. Which they would not take because the media lied about the permit – that we used 911 as a smokescreen to get the permit from the park,” the rocker elaborated. “Who does a 911 event on April 24?”

Detecting Conspiracy Theories on Social Media

Improving Machine Learning to Detect and Understand Online Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy theories circulated online via social media contribute to a shift in public discourse away from facts and analysis and can contribute to direct public harm. Social media platforms face a difficult technical and policy challenge in trying to mitigate harm from online conspiracy theory language. As part of Google's Jigsaw unit's effort to confront emerging threats and incubate new technology to help create a safer world, RAND researchers conducted a modeling effort to improve machine-learning (ML) technology for detecting conspiracy theory language. They developed a hybrid model using linguistic and rhetorical theory to boost performance. They also aimed to synthesize existing research on conspiracy theories using new insight from this improved modeling effort. This report describes the results of that effort and offers recommendations to counter the effects of conspiracy theories that are spread online.

Key Findings

The hybrid ML model improved conspiracy topic detection.

The hybrid ML model dramatically improved on either single model's ability to detect conspiratorial language.

Hybrid models likely have broad application to detecting any kind of harmful speech, not just that related to conspiracy theories.

Kansas Legislature Rallies Around Election Integrity Reforms, Overrides Democrat Governor’s Veto

The Kansas Legislature has voted to override the veto of Democrat Governor Laura Kelly on some election-related reform bills — which reports said were meant to plug the issues raised during the 2020 election.

Kelly vetoed the said bills last month claiming that the legislation was “designed to disenfranchise Kansans,” according to a report by local media Kansas City Star.

“Changes to Kansas election laws that limit the power of the executive and judicial branch and tighten rules around advance voting are now law despite Gov. Laura Kelly’s objections,” the publication wrote, adding that the state legislature voted Monday to override Kelly’s vetoes on two elections related measures.

“The bills follow a trend in GOP-controlled state houses nationwide to limit ballot access,” it added, after claims of widespread voter fraud emerged during the 2020 election, while it said that “legislation in Washington to expand mail-in voting nationwide has stalled in the Senate.”

Over two-thirds of the lawmakers backed the move — exceeding the threshold needed to pass bills without the governor’s approval.

“Inspired by controversies from the 2020 election, the bills aimed to prevent similar fights from taking place in future elections,” the report said.

Contrary to the governor’s characterization of the bills, Republican state Senator Caryn Tyson, said the new legislation aims to do the opposite in a bid to secure “voter accuracy” in succeeding elections.

Despite opposition from liberals, a recent Rasmussen Report found that the majority of voters say it’s more important to prevent cheating in elections than to make it easier to vote following the 2020 election.

The survey also found that 75% of voters say requiring voters to show some form of identification like driver’s license before being allowed to vote is necessary to a “fair and secure election process.”
